I'm writing this as the shop guys are working on my truck. I came here to get a new bumper for my truck. It has less than 25k miles. They sold me on a bumper they like to sell and it was a good looking one to boot. After putting my 1k deposit down, they called back later in the day to say it won't fit on my truck. I go back down and select a new one. They order it and when it arrives, I drop off my truck. At the end of the day, they call back to say the company sent the wrong part, they'll re-order it and re install it down the road. But, I notice my trucks bumper is crooked. Not by a little bit, but like more than 5 inches. A blind squirrel would have noticed. Also, my block heater connector was hanging down by the ground instead of being connected to the bumper. So, here I am sitting in the lot watching them try and fix it. They've tried to say they put it back on right, but there's a 4" gap where it is obvious it is hanging too low. The mechanic said it's Ram's fault. Just turn around and walk out. Don't buy here. I hate writing bad reviews. I've only really written one. But come on, you messed up the order twice and you couldn't put things back the way they were. How do I trust that you'll put the after market parts on right? read more

I ordered a tonneau cover and a spray-in bedliner. The cover was a competitive price but they wanted to charge me one hour's labor at $85/hr to install it. Per other suppliers, these covers can be installed in about 20 minutes. When I told them their charge was too high, they refused to adjust it, simply saying "that's our policy". So I installed it myself (easy). No one followed up to schedule my spray-in bedliner so I called and they set it up, telling me that it is done at another facility with their people, and that the same person owns both businesses. This turned out to be a bald faced lie. The other facility is EPSCO (Line-X franchisee) down the street and Custom Truck simply subcontracts the service. EPSCO is a separately owned independent business. I called Custom Truck the day before I was scheduled to confirm, and they had no record of my appointment. They told me to call them (instead of them calling me) the next morning after they opened at 9AM (EPSCO was already closed) and assured me that they could "squeeze" me in that day. Instead, I went to EPSCO at 7 AM when they opened and asked if I could get the bed liner installed. EPSCO said that they had an appointment that day from Custom Truck but they had no detail on who it was (probably my truck). Then EPSCO said they could perform the installation right away due to an appointment delay and installed the liner in two hours. I never heard anything from Custom Truck again. There is one fellow there who lies to cover up his incompetence. Don't rely upon this company. If you need a spray-in liner, EPSCO in Garden City installs it (off Chinden on W.37th St) or you can install a Rhino Linings of Canyon County spray-in in Caldwell. Total Truck in Caldwell is a top quality aftermarket supplier for tonneau covers, running boards, mud flaps, winches, lights, brush guards, etc. I don't know anything about the Rhino liner except that it is NOT a thermal process like Line-X (better). I highly recommend both EPSCO (Line-X) in Garden City for spray-in bedliners and Total Truck in Caldwell for truck accessories. read more

Custom truck is one of last truly responsible businesses around and Clayton, the owner, is one of last truly honorable men out there. Had a pretty serious issue that was very expensive to fix. Claton stepped up to the plate, had the repairs done to my satisfaction, and made it clear the entire time Custom Truck stood behind their work and there was no question they would pay to have the repair done. Custom Truck and Clayton were true to their word and never complained at the significant price of the repair. In this current world where finding stand up people and businesses that take responsibility for their work, custom truck stands out as old school honorable. I highly recommend this business and recommend the entire community get behind this business. In the words of Shakespeare (and Willy Wonka) "How far that little candle throws his beams! They find everything we need, if it's an old part that has been discontinued they find a replacement for it, they do a great job getting us what we need so we can restore our customers trucks back to the way they were (or even better) before they were in the accident. read more

This place is a dump with horrible customer service! Everything is dusty dirty and the lot is full of garbage. Parking is also a joke with the employees cars taking up a majority of the spaces. The guy behind the counter (Clayton?) is absolutely clueless. Not only is he rude but he can't remember a price quote from one minute to the next! When I called him on it he blamed it on him being "uneducated!" Who says something like that? Weird! There is no break in pricing, and they don't honor manufacture coupons. Just an all around bad vibe! Left there disappointed but found a great deal at Total Truck in Caldwell. Strangely this is a family relative that owns this place. Nonetheless, Rusty was a much more knowledgeable and nice person! There is just something very wrong with the people that run this business. Stopped in here for a tailgate protector about 2 years ago. They scratched my tailgate then denied it! Done with this place! read more
