High Plains Trailers

I showed up on a Saturday and they were a bit short-handed but they went WAY beyond the call of…read moreduty to help me get set up. My RV had been rewired and the gentlemen who helped me got down and dirty and ended up rewiring the RV so I could hit the road. The saleswoman was super friendly and helpful. I've had the trailer for 6 weeks and it's working great. I'm from Texas and got my paperwork on time and everything was correct. Super highly recommend High Plains Trailers.

I bought a 5x10 Primo with 18" sides from High Plains Trailers in Denver, CO. 2 things to review:…read morethe trailer itself and the dealer that stocked and sold the trailer to me. First the trailer. First off, it's beautiful. I know I'm a guy and that's not supposed to matter but, damn! It's sitting here in my driveway with those beautiful alloy wheels (I popped for the extra cost matching spare tire) and it is just a thing of beauty! Every single one of my friends (all heterosexual, some professional truck drivers) swoon with jealousy when they see my new aluminum trailer! Shallow, I know, OK, here's some substance. I really hate the ramps on other trailers of this type, they are flat unsafe at highway speeds, I don'e care what anyone says. No so my beautiful Primo! The folding ramp is genius, very secure when folded down and works as well or better than the ungainly ones when extended. And at highway speeds I don't have to constantly be thinking disaster is about to happen. Now the tires: very impressive, 15" steel belted radials - as good as the tires on my new SUV. The front wheel swinging out of the way when hooked up is genius also, one less thing to worry about. Bottom line, you can hook this baby up, load it with a reasonable load, get it all bungeed and strapped in and take off for a 1000 mile trip without having to once again about think your trailer. And it's 100% aluminum, 25-30% more expensive than wood and steel but worth every single penny. Most excellent! Now the dealer - Ralph was most helpful, sold me the trailer I had already picked out but helped me in several "beyond the call of duty" ways, even agreeing to store my paid for trailer at their facility for more than a month to help me with my moving schedule. Again, ask for Ralph, he is also most excellent!

I was looking for quotes for a receiver hitch for my new Tucson to carry a recumbent trike rack…read more Robert texted me back promptly. RMRV didn't have quite exactly what I was looking for. For instance, I didn't need a hitch for 3,000# or greater, just something to carry the trike. Even after we agreed that I should look elsewhere, Robert continues to discuss my needs and offer suggestions, such as contacting my bike shop. Robert went above and beyond to assist me, even after it was obvious that there'd be no money in it for them. Based on my experience, I'd return to them for a quote next time I needed a hitch for another reason.

DO NOT take your RV to this place. We took our 2019 Lance Camper in for a couple small repairs, a…read morefurnace service, and to have a lithium battery and solar panels installed in December. Robert, the owner, promised to have it ready in two weeks. That did not happen. In February, we finally picked it up. When we took it camping, not only did the furnace still not work, but the entire solar/lithium battery system did not work. We took it back to have the problems addressed in April. Robert quoted an amount of $5400 to revamp the system and to install two new awnings. After 18 unanswered phone calls and several visits to the shop, we were finally contacted and told it was ready. When we showed up to retrieve the camper, we were shocked to discover that the new invoice was for a total of over $13,000. None of this was ever presented for our approval. And just now we tried to roll out the awning, and it is broke. Unbelievably terrible experience.

Airstream Of Colorado

I've been in and out of the Denver area for the past month and had several issues with my Airstream…read morethat needed attention. The team at Airstream of Colorado provided exceptional service and parts support every step of the way. They special-ordered a replacement sink drain and had it waiting for me when I returned to Denver. Jorge in the service department was phenomenal. I was also able to purchase a new power cord after finally wearing out the original one following five years of nearly continuous use. While I was in the area, an exterior rivet broke near the rear hatch. David Davenport in service was more than willing to help me get it resolved--and they completed the repair at no charge. Despite an extremely tight maintenance schedule, they also found a way to work me in and install a new backup camera. I can't say enough good things about the people at Airstream of Colorado. They are accommodating, professional, and genuinely committed to taking care of their customers. I highly recommend them for service and parts--and if you're shopping for a new Airstream, this is a great place to start.

We purchased a used 2026 Airstream Globetrotter from Airstream of Colorado in August 2026. We knew…read morewe were buying used and never expected perfection. Our concern is the difference between what was represented before delivery, what ASCO's own documentation says was inspected or corrected, and what we actually received. We chose ASCO partly because of its many positive reviews. With an 860-mile trip each way, we repeatedly sought reassurance that the trailer would be inspected, necessary repairs completed and the unit detailed before we arrived. Jill Penn was responsive throughout the sale. Problems became apparent while we were already traveling to Colorado and receiving real-time photos and updates saying specific items had been addressed. On August 26, Jill texted that the cabinet was "good to go!" It wasn't, resulting in a signed dealer "We Owe" for the pantry/cabinet face. On August 27, Jill sent a photo of the outside shower door saying "New cover in place." ASCO's own work order says "REPLACE OUTSIDE SHOWER DOOR." Instead, the existing door had apparently been painted; the finish began coming off almost immediately when wet. The same work order identified a bent rear awning/window arm, which remained bent at delivery. Those details matter because we were already on our way to Denver relying on real-time reassurance that identified items were being corrected before we arrived. After delivery we discovered a failed shower head, water leak and later a completely inoperative radio. The interior also required substantially more cleaning than expected. After repeated requests, Service Manager Anna Bozard provided the completed Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), dated the day before delivery and signed by Anna. Its 141 inspection items show the radio and shower faucet checked, water systems checked for leaks, and the interior/exterior marked clean. Components can fail, but several immediate problems involved areas specifically marked inspected while other items represented as corrected clearly were not. We sent Anna ASCO's work order and photos. She confirmed replacement parts were ordered; the shower door is currently backordered and parts are supposed to be drop-shipped for repair at our local Airstream dealer. The pantry followed the same pattern. We understood ASCO would coordinate the repair locally. Instead, after repeated follow-up, we were told the part could be shipped and to arrange installation ourselves. GM Dave Delano eventually confirmed in writing that ASCO would cover the part, shipping and local installation. We appreciate that commitment, but we still had to chase the part, schedule service and confirm payment ourselves. Title work was similar. Written financing instructions said ASCO would submit it, and Finance Manager Chris Prothe told us his title department would handle it. Instead, the documents and tax check were mailed to us without instructions. Arizona MVD rejected the check because it was payable incorrectly. ASCO sent a corrected check and we completed registration ourselves. Dave later said out-of-state buyers handle their own registration, contradicting both the written instructions and what Chris told us. We also worked directly with Airstream corporate to transfer the warranty and arranged the remaining service ourselves. There was also a duplicate $120 gratuity payment suggested by Jill. When the original electronic payment appeared unsuccessful, we paid another way; the original later processed too. Jill acknowledged the duplicate, but returning it took weeks, multiple promised dates and repeated requests. It was eventually returned. We hesitated to post this review while waiting for parts, but a month has passed while we have handled the warranty transfer, title issues and service arrangements ourselves. After this experience, we noticed Dave's responses to other one-star reviews often apologize for not "meeting expectations" and invite the reviewer to call. We cannot speak for those customers, but that framing stood out. Our concerns are not simply "expectations." We have texts, photos, a signed We Owe, ASCO's work order, completed PDI, emails and title documents supporting this sequence. At some point, there is little a phone call can add to the written record. To be fair, the trailer is registered, pantry replacement provided, $120 returned, exterior parts ordered and local service scheduled. We worked hard for those outcomes. Again and again, something presented as inspected, repaired, replaced, handled or coordinated by ASCO became our responsibility to identify, document, chase, schedule or resolve. We really like our Airstream. Our disappointment is with the process surrounding it. The sales experience was responsive; the post-sale experience required persistence. Other customers have clearly had different experiences with ASCO. We genuinely wish ours had been one of them.

MetalArc - Cabinet doors

We had…read morecompleted a beautiful high end kitchen remodel and the crowning jewel was to be the metal and glass cabinet doors that our architect had drawn in. However, the company she had used in the past wouldn't call me back. I found MetalArc using Google. And I'm beyond happy I did. First, their commitment to their craft is top notch. They will work diligently to get the project right. The level of refinement that we were looking for with these doors was not a hurdle they shied away from but rather they accepted the challenge and worked side by side with me to get it exactly right. The finished product is stunning, we couldn't be happier. Second, David's level of communication is a rarity. He is such a well spoken, clear and eloquent communicator. It is a lost art in today's day and age. I was impressed time and time again with his clarity and thoughtfulness in every conversation and email. This was truly a "project" that required communication and collaboration and he impressed me time and time again. Third, he is a good man whose primary goal was not only meeting but exceeding expectations. On top of being an expert in his craft, he has mastered being a good person. I can't say enough good things about him (and his brother, Joseph!). Thank you we will continue to sing your praises.

I worked with MetalArc on a highly custom and challenging stair railing. I asked them to translate…read morea sprial staircase design to my linear, right-angle staircase. Most railing companies said that they couldn't do it. MetalArc was one of the few willing to accept the challenge and the unknowns that came with it. They worked hard to understand my vision and priorities. I am very particular in what I want and don't want. They respected that and were not put off by it. They are very, very kind people. The project gave them challenges beyond their expectations, but they were patient and stuck with it each time. I am thrilled with the final result. On my end, there were a few challenges as well. I had to be extremely patient with the schedule. The project was bid at a flat rate, however, they increased it when they had a better understanding of the project. This was after I was already committed and had made a large deposit. I was frustrated by that because I thought the project was clear from the beginning since I had a picture of what I wanted to replicate. The payment installments were confusing and, as things took longer, they added new installments. I had to be firm that the final installment would be paid when the project was done. They had a few employees turnover which directly impacted my project. All but one did great work; but the one caused some major hiccups as did the transitions in general. We finished the project as a team. The results are beautiful. We are on good terms. We are planning to work together again, thankfully on a much more straightforward project!
