This is a great dog park, and glad they split up small dogs and big dogs. It is pretty clean and maintained. The only downfall which we have ran into a time or two when owners decide to bring their big dogs over to the small dog side and think their dogs are well behaved. They had three dogs that would not leave my dog alone and would jump on me and say they are friendly. When I almost fall over because your big dogs jumped on me, they are not well behaved. Some owners shouldn't own dogs if they can't or won't handle them accordingly. read more

The most serious complaint I have is that the pergola is too close to the entrance to the large dog enclosure. The owners gather to chat and their pups stay close. That makes it difficult for others to enter or leave without being confronted by a pack of dogs. read more

Little difficult to find. Head to the round about and the road that heads west with the dog park sign is where it's at. Great option for small or large dogs. Clean and water/poop bags were available. read more

Ball launchers shouldn't be allowed at dog parks. All they do is cause trouble. I have a husky and she gets along with all dogs. EXCEPT when she tries running with the dog going after the ball that the owner just launched with that blue boomerang looking thing. Usually it's a Border Collie type of dog. It gets possessive with the ball and snaps at my dog. My dog defends herself, and guess what? she looks like an aggressive dog at the dog park. Of course the owners look at me with that "look". Please people, leave the ball launcher at home. or go play in an open field somewhere. read more

This is a great open space for my pups to play. I do wish the city would have kept the trees inside the park. And a kind lady bought extra chairs and the city took those out too. It's all gravel and there are places for the pups and humans to get water. read more

I honestly like that part a lot it's a little drive from my house but the people there are really friendly most of them that I have ran into the dogs love the little lake they have it and it's just a really wonderful little dog park I really highly recommend it it's worth the drive read more

This is a wonderful within walking-distance type of dog park. Not the largest or the best out there. It splits into two dog parks dividing the smaller ones from the larger breeds. There isn't much decor unless you count the endless dirt arena. Usually packed during peak hours and full of the local dogs. Some dog owners shouldn't even be bringing their dogs. I have had a few run-ins with a lady who brought her dog in heat to the park. BAD IDEA IN GENERAL. The entrance to the park and parking lot is small. Usually when a car is leaving, another car can barely squeeze through the entrance. Thus every other car has to yield to come and go. My aunt has also told me about her experiences there early in the mornings around 8a-9a. There seems to be the same people every morning that goes there. One in particular stands out from the rest. You see, my aunt has a yappy dog that doesn't shut the front door. Whereas she doesnt speak English. Well, her dog was barking at a guy who obviously over reacts, as every time he sees her, my aunt's 13lb dog chases him and barks. He would kick her dog. Then proceed to leave the park with his small dog. Moral of the story, if I see that same guy I will punt him. People here at this park can get quite high and mighty, they will call the cops for every issue imaginable. Just be aware. read more

Decent park with friendly people. Avoid after rain or snow melt or your dog will get muddy. Area around the water spigot can get muddy too. Logs for jumping. Lots of left toys to play with including balls and frisbees. 2 white buckets provided for water. Dog waste bags provided. 1/8 mile lap around the park. Area for small or timid dogs also. The trail and park areas are dirt and not pea gravel. Overall not bad. Certainly one of the larger and more popular parks in the area. read more

The perfect dog park! I had to forgo our normal one in Commerce City because I couldn't figure out how to get there with the everlasting construction. I'm glad I couldn't get there, though, because Trail Winds is much better. It's a bit tricky to see from the road, but follow the wagging tails! The park boasts two decent-sized areas, one for the little ones, the other for big dogs. We were greeted by several creatures with 2 and 4 legs. Everyone was super friendly. My Annie had a blast playing with the dogs. This is a smaller park, but still has a walkable trail. Several benches await, both in the sun and covered. It's a bit further from my house, but I likely will make this one my regular dog park. It has so much more to offer. read more

We are visiting the local dog parks and really enjoyed this small (maybe 1/8 mile track or so) dog park! This has definitely been the most populated, so our dogs loved it! There's a water pump for the dogs, benched in the sun and shade and one covered bench. Lots of fun today! We will definitely visit again! read more

It's an alright dog park. I have a smaller dog and he could get through the gate to the entrance to each park and the exit door to the street no problem. The directions to the park are incorrect so you'll have to walk through a field probably about a quarter mile. It's also really muddy so be prepared and no water source. Great other than those few things. read more

Great dog park! They have an area for small dogs sectioned off, and another area for large dogs sectioned off. People are always friendly. And the dogs have plenty of room to roam around and run. Your dog has the space to play on their own, or interact with other dogs. read more

I have two puppies and they love it. There is benches to sit and some constructed shade structures for humans! There is not a lot of grass so it it has just rained do not take your pups unless you are ready for them to get all muddy and give them a bath. read more

Solid dog park, large enough to get up to speed as well as avoid other dogs if needed. Small dog area is nice, water and small shaded area available, gets quite muddy as it's mostly dirt. The fences are a bit short (4ft?), which isn't a problem usually, but there's a prairie dog haven on the north end that makes escape more appealing. read more

I've been to this park a few times and think it's great. People are friendly and the dogs are friendly. You will find puppies and dogs of all breeds and ages. It's nice that people bring water to share with the dogs when the city shuts the water off. My dog and I love it so far and plan on visiting every week. read more

We have a miniature schnauzer and a lab so it was nice to have separate areas available for each dog even though our schnauzer thinks she's a big dog. The dog run area is clean and well maintained. Great park for family activities. Look forward to the new recreation center being built. read more
