Piper (the owner) was accommodating to our last-minute request and made filling out the required paperwork a breeze. I never use third-party services to board my dogs so I was very apprehensive, however my concerns were ill-founded. Both of my dogs were in great spirits when we picked them up and more importantly when we dropped them off the next day - bound out of the car and into the facility. I guess you can't give a higher recommendation than that :)

We picked her up at 5:30 this afternoon so I…read moreknew we would be paying a late fee as well as the nightly fee, as regular pick up was before 1PM. I cleared the late pick up with them when I dropped her off yesterday. If picking up late, most kennels charge a day care fee. This kennel did not post the fee, so my bad for not asking, but they made me pay for a second night. This kennel is already expensive (62.50 a night) so doubling that cost is absolutely crazy. Also, their closing hours are listed as 7 PM and I clarified this with them when I dropped her off. I received a call at 5 PM today asking when we were picking her up because they close at 6 PM. My dog was well taken care of but, for this high nightly fee, I would have expected much better customer service.

I am so impressed with Nelson's behavior and increased ability to play well with others after a stay with Holden. I have interview MANY dog sitters and walkers, none of them have been reliable and typically over priced in this area. Holden's charge is 100% worth every scent and definitely not overpriced for his service. I highly recommend Paws Mtn Co.

It's great to know he'll be having fun in a safe, clean place with people who adore him and who he adores. Yes, even the outdoor pens are concrete. Would it be great if there was a doggy daycare in town that had grass? Yes, it would! But we don't even have a year-round dog park here, and no doggy business in Jackson could afford the amount of space that grassy yards would require. Grover sometimes comes back stinky, but so do kids going to kindergarten (we have seen that the DogJax team is constantly cleaning! But if one dog is stinky, all the dogs he plays with are stinky). All of that said, DogJax is by far the safest and most reliable place for our dog to get social playtime off-lead on a regular basis, and we trust the staff to treat him well and meet his needs. Thanks, DogJax for taking such good care of our pup!
