Less than 1 hour after we left we sent emails and left voicemails and nothing, no response. Basically after hours at night or on Sunday they will hold your dog hostage and not respond. No answer was provided from the owner on if he received our voicemails or emails. We showed up before the owner arrived the next morning and our dog was covered in pee. And the owner demanded his $24 before even releasing the dog. Unbelievable. You can't even see the place your dog will stay because you are not allowed in the back for "insurance reasons". If you are ok leaving your dog hostage in what amounts to a cold & noisy kennel go for it. I would rather sleep in the car with the dog than leave her there one more night.

However, the Trail Creek Rep. & only person working was in her car & ready to leave. After she saw us, she marched in & unlocked the door to let me in. (It took a few minutes for her to unlock the door.) I was charged an extra $10 for picking up our dog because "the door was locked & her boss gets mad". A half-day penalty charge for being on time - really! It is not about the $10 charge, or that we had until 5pm. It's about the PRINCIPLE, & Trail Creek Pet Center has none. BTW: The time was 5:06pm when I returned to my car with our Golden-Doodle & recapped my story about the rapacious Trail Creek Rep.

I went to the facilities for a tour. When I was there I noticed the dogs were sad looking and…read morenervous. They were laying on cement without even a mat or toys to keep them company. I didn't see any staff interacting with them and didn't even seem excited to be there. Prices were high and so were the add on prices. I wasn't impressed in the least. I found a much better place to leave my precious fur babies with where the staff was happy to be there and lots more for the dogs to do and the prices were more in line. Every time we arrive at our boarding facility our dogs are so happy to be there they sometimes even forget to say bye to us. They take the dogs on walks to the park, down by the greenbelt, and have so many more service options and discounts for multiple pups staying together. Please don't go to Ameripet in Idaho Falls Idaho.
