Fast Lane Traffic School

Fast Lane Traffic School

First off, I want to point out that, before signing up with this course or paying a dime, I…read morefollowed the instructions on my citation receipt which said where to look on the DMV website for a licensed online school. Fast Lane IS ON THE DMV site as a licensed school. Secondly, I made sure when I paid my ticket, that I was eligible for traffic school before doing this and paid the extra money to the court on top of my ticket in order to do so. Once I was good to go, I began searching on Groupon. I found this deal on Groupon for $8.99. I paid and went to redeem it on their site (Fast Lane) and found it a little difficult. But just go to your coupon purchases on Groupon and click the link from there. You get a redemption code to apply after registration on Fast Lane before paying. And they send confirmation emails to you immediately, verifying your registration and payment or coupon redemption. They are legit. The course took all of about 3 hours if you are an average reader. There are 3 simple questions after each section and another of one of your personal question/answers to prove it's you. At the end you have your final exam. It was 25 questions and you get 2 tries before you would be kicked out/disqualified. But on the final page there are links to each chapter (open book) so you can go look back if you're stuck. It's easy. I missed a couple and passed on my first try even though I skimmed through a lot of the reading material. Good luck!

I got a traffic ticket in Alameda County in Nor Cal. I found Fast Lane Traffic School through…read moregroupon. For only $8.99, I took their online traffic school. TIP#1: Make sure you are eligible for traffic school before signing up! At the comfort of your own home (or during my down time at work in my case), you read through about 10-12 articles talking about traffic rules. At the end of each article, there is a mini test of 3 simple questions each. At the very end, you have 2 chances to take the final test. You must answer at least 18 out of 25 questions correctly to pass. Otherwise, you will have to sign up for traffic school again elsewhere. TIP#2: It is not timed and open book, so if you're unsure of a question, google it! Once you have completed and passed the test, Fast Lane Traffic School will automatically electronically submit your Certificate of Completion to the DMV and Court. They say it takes about 5-7 business days but it only took 4 business days for me when I checked back on the court website! No point on my driving record + no increase in my insurance fees = a happy customer!

Unical Driving & Traffic Violator School

Unical Driving School is awesome and affordable. Signing up for the teen 6 hour behind-the-wheel…read moretraining was painless, thanks to the friendly staff. Instructor Edward Wu is a very cool and professional guy. He made me feel confident behind the wheel in just about every daily driving situation. You can often hear him telling you "No worries." Edward was also prompt to pick me up from home at the appointment time. Minus one star because like Helen D. mentioned in a previous review, he can be impatient at times. In my case, he wanted me to promptly take off from a stop sign as soon as I can to a stop (assuming it was clear, of course). Other than this minor incident, I would highly recommend Unical Driving School.

SHORT VERSION: If you wish to pass the driving test, I'd recommend Viva driving school in Pasadena…read more They will teach you everything you need to know about what the DMV will expect. If you wish for a cheap driving school, this school will do $60 per 2-hr session but you won't learn as much and you will probably get a lot of errors during the driving test. LONG VERSION: The overview of my scenario: I took two 2-hour driving sessions with 'Unical Driving School' and a 1-hour driving session + DMV servicing with another school called 'Viva Driving School'. 4 NOV 2013: Called to schedule my appointment, and the receptionist who I talked to wasn't rude, but didn't explain to me much about their programs either. All she said was "$60 for 2 hours". I made an appointment anyway because it was VERY cheap compared to other schools. 6 NOV 2013: It was the day of my appointment. The instructor was supposed to be here at 1:45pm, but he (Edward Wu) came 10 minutes late. He was very nice, so I decided not to mark him for being late. I told him it was my first time driving, so he drove around for 15 minutes, but he didn't really teach me anything while he was driving. It was my turn to drive, and I did "pretty well for a first time driver" (in the words of Mr. Wu). We drove around Monterey Park, and occasionally, he would tell me to slow down when no cars were around, and then tell me to speed up when cars started to line up behind me. It got pretty annoying. Occasionally, he would go on his phone and not really pay attention to how I was driving. At the end of the lesson, he wanted me to schedule another appointment, and I did it (which I knew I would regret) because I felt like I didn't really learn anything. 7 NOV 2013: This time, he was 20 minutes late... minus one star. He taught me how to change lanes, which was great, but he did the same thing as he did yesterday (telling me to slow down and speed up)... minus another star. That's all he taught me for that day... Same thing as yesterday, he was on his cellphone, plus, he would occasionally yawn. He wanted me to schedule another appointment, and that's when I felt that he was doing that on purpose to make more money. 12 NOV 2013: This was the day I had my DMV driving test. I decided to try 'Viva Driving School' in Pasadena because they had a special package where they do DMV Servicing (they take you to the DMV at the day of your test, and let you use their car to take the test) plus a 1-hr driving session prior to the test. They taught me a lot about what was expected on the test, things that weren't discussed from 'Unical Driving School'... minus TWO stars. I learned WAY more in 1 hour with 'Viva Driving School' than I did in 4 hours with this school.

Outstanding Driving School and Even Better Customer Service!…read more My daughter has been attending Glendora Driving School for the past month, and she has had nothing but great things to say about her experience. She absolutely loves her instructor and has told me several times how great everyone has been. The other day, she had an unexpected emergency that caused her to miss a scheduled class. We were informed that there was a $50 fee for cancellations without 24 hours' notice, which I completely understand. Rules are rules, and businesses have to operate. Being a business owner myself, I absolutely understand and respect the charge. I spoke with Sam and explained what had happened. Without hesitation, he told me not to worry about the $50. I was genuinely amazed. I even offered to pay the fee because, at the end of the day, she missed her scheduled class. But Sam insisted that we not worry about it given the circumstances. To me, that speaks volumes about the kind of people running this business. This is exactly how customer service should be. It's not about the $50. It's about understanding that life happens, treating people with respect, and putting your customers first. As a business owner, I have always believed that how you treat people says more about your business than anything else. Sam demonstrated exactly that. Sam and his family are truly amazing people, and it shows in how they operate their business. I would recommend Glendora Driving School to anyone and everyone, 1,000%! Thank you, Sam, for reminding me that there are still businesses out there that genuinely care about the people they serve.

I called Glendora Driving school and got Sam, I honestly told him I need women driver he said they don't have. And he wasn't pushy and the way he was talking calm and the responses I said can I come and see you Sam? He laughed and said "sure". I drove there and saw how humble and respectful Sam is. How knowledgeable and nice he is. I changed my mind there and got the package deal. My daughter pass her test from first try. If you mom like me and very overprotective of your kid I am recommending Sam and this school. He is so respectful, you need to see him. Love Sam, love the way he teaches. Thank you Sam, very thankful
