    We were referred to this company by family members who had a positive experience, but unfortunately…read moreour experience did not meet the same standard. The initial estimate went well, and we were assured the job could be completed professionally, including installation of new baseboards (painting was not expected). The young lady in the store that helped me when looking at flooring was wonderful as well. However, issues arose during installation and after that highlighted gaps in communication, workmanship oversight, and customer follow-through. On the day of installation, the crew arrived unprepared for furniture removal despite it being clearly listed on the invoice, which resulted in unnecessary confusion and my husband having to assist before returning to work. The crew's demeanor was noticeably standoffish, and there was a lack of clear communication throughout the process. The flooring itself was installed, and to be fair, the quarter round was corrected and properly flushed to the door jambs after we raised the concern. However, additional finish issues remained. The door jambs had been cut too high, leaving visible gaps that were initially suggested to be addressed with caulking. A later attempt to correct this using wood filler was poorly executed, left residue on the flooring, and still did not bring the area to an acceptable finished standard. The crew left the home without notifying us or completing a walkthrough, despite being asked to do so. Follow-up occurred only after my husband raised concerns. When the estimator later came out, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the issues, and responsibility for the workmanship was minimized rather than addressed. We also had to specifically request written confirmation of both the manufacturer warranty and the workmanship warranty, rather than this being provided proactively. At this time, we are awaiting the written workmanship warranty and manufacturer warranty documentation and are monitoring how the remaining workmanship concerns will be addressed under that warranty. I will update this review if further contact is required or if these warranty matters are resolved appropriately. While the job was completed, the lack of quality control, accountability, and customer care shown by Daryl and his employees makes it difficult to recommend this company based on our experience. I was really hoping that this transaction would have went differently because we do have plans to complete flooring in the rest of our home. Update: Today, my husband went to the office to submit a cashier's check to pay the remaining balance on our account. Unfortunately, the interaction was met with deflection and a lack of professionalism from both Daryll and the front desk staff. This further highlighted an ongoing breakdown in communication and organization. At this time, we still have no clear guidance regarding the Mohawk manufacturer warranty for the flooring, nor have we received a written explanation of what the workmanship warranty covers beyond the brief "2-year warranty" notation listed on the store receipt. As paying customers attempting to close out our account properly, we expected clearer documentation and more consistent communication, not a "Oh you don't need that we have been around forever," when asking for a warranty description in writing. Again, based on our experience, I will never recommend them.

    If I could give this zero stars and still write a review I would. First, I showed up on a Saturday…read morearound 11 am and there was no one around. I came across a man there and when he finally open the door asked quite rudely "Can I help you?!" I asked if they were open that day and he said no and then I asked what the hours were and he begrudgingly told me Monday through Friday 8-5. I said thank you and left. On my next day off work during their open hours I returned with my husband to see if they could help our situation. The lady there at the time was very kind and nice. We told her that the former owners of the house had replaced the flooring with their product in the spring of 2019. We bought the house at the end of 2019 and shortly thereafter started noticing a couple boards popping up. It wasn't too long after that when the entire flooring across the house was popping up and buckling and chipping. We wanted to know if they would be able to do anything about it. I sent them pictures in email and she said she would have the owner call us later that day when he got back. He did call later and said that it sounded like they were installed too snugly under the baseboard but he would come out after 10 am the next day to look at it. We said that sounded good and we appreciated it. That night we busted our rear ends making sure he would have unfettered access to the flooring. The next day, 10 am rolled around...11 am rolled by and then 12 pm ticked by on the clock until finally my husband received a call at 1:22pm from the owner. He was very confrontational from the start by asking "Are you at the house?!" My husband replied "I have been here since 10 am like you said yesterday." He then said "I SAID I was going to go out and start my rounds at 10 o'clock." Then he told my husband "I'm not going to come out there I'll call the rep that installed it and have him give you a call, I know him." The conversation just degenerated from that point. He was very hostile towards us as potential customers. We just wanted someone to come tell us what we needed done, and how much it would cost to do it. We had planned on purchasing better material from their store and even having them install it. Despite the fact that this material was supposed to have a 20 year warranty on it and was already falling apart. He proceeded to tell my husband that we should have told someone when we first noticed it, but then in the next breath said that they weren't really working that much during COVID. My husband explained that I was an essential worker during COVID and couldn't get out to go places other than work and home because I had to make sure I was able to work and he couldn't go out and bring something home either. Even so, by his own admission they weren't even at work but according to the owner "you still should have let someone know." For a customer service based organization, you treat your potential customers like crap. We will never bring business to this establishment ever again and furthermore, this review will be cross posted at every opportunity possible because I don't think anyone should have to go through what we did. This business should really reconsider their practices if they expect to stay in business. I will also be sure to share this information with my entire military community.
