But when you have to deal with the owner to resolve problems with a job: his motive - is to get as much money as he can via intimidation, and harassment (which would be illegal in most states); and place false liens on ones property that you can fight but it's costly. However, we soon developed a small leak (in June 2024) it took a few calls to have a guy come out (approximately late July/early August when he did come out.) That person explained that the partnership had broken up and that Eagle Eye was now a one owner company. Calls to the Eagle Eye office prior to Hurricane Helene where we begged for tarping of the roof before Helene hit got us an appointment for the day before Helene. In the afternoon, we received a text that the person who was supposed to tarp our roof was broken down on the side of the road. Since then our calls/texts go unanswered. We suffered additional damage including some flooding inside (due to the roof leak not being tarped) during Helene. At that point we thought we would just hire a different roofing company as we were tired of Eagle Eye's subpar service. However, when we brought companies out to bid, we found out our roof was not done to code and that Eagle Eye has left the inspection open at the city inspection office so this was never caught. We are nearly a year post Helene and are still trying to get our roof repaired. So far roofing companies don't want to touch it with it not having been done to code unless they can reroof the whole thing. Our insurance won't pay for a second roof, we can't afford that out of pocket, and the city inspections office refuses to get involved. I would not do business with Eagle Eye roofing again and I am telling this story so that others can be warned.
