The technician demanded cash ($300) to get the needed springs. We should have ended the deal right then. He returned the next day and installed the springs and collected another$300 via credit card. The door was working but making a terrible noise. he said he could fix that for more money. We declined. Today the side of the door that did not have a problem is totally torn apart and the door doesn't work at all. We suspect the wrong springs were used and have called another company to fix the mess.

Travis and his Tspark team are outstanding and I'm very pleased with their services. My home was built in 1965 with a FLAT roof and since I purchased it in 2001, the roof leaked constantly. I replaced the roof in 2008 and the leak continued. In April my insurance company dropped my policy because of my roof condition. No insurer would take me unless I get a new roof. Travis came to my rescue. I was very impressed with his roofing knowledge and his idea of using materials that are environmentally friendly. He recommended an Energy Star rated PVC roof membrane and a tapered insulation system on entire roof to create positive roof drainage, and CLEAR the shrubs and overhanging trees from the roof. Tspark team (John and the 4 crew members) worked hard in the heat from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm and challenged by the thunder storms in several days to accomplish the project. All debris, scraps, and garbage were cleared immediately after completion. Amazing! I'm enjoying a much cooler home with a reflective roof and 3 brand new skylights with heat resistance. I'm so thrilled with the outcome. Travis also assisted me to get the 5-year loan from City of Tallahassee for roof replacement and recommended a decent insurance agent who would secure an insurance policy for my home prior to starting the roofing project. I wholeheartedly, without reservation, recommend TSpark for roofing and general contracting work. Travis Sparkman, the owner, keeps very close tabs on the progress of the work, with great communication, and goes above and beyond what is contracturally expected, without charging more. We had a complete reroof, including repair to recent hurricane damage, and removal/closing over existing skylights (in preparation to install roof solar panels). Mr. Sparkman is an excellent contractor. He answered every single question I had and always in a timely manner. He was able to get my insurance company to realize that I needed a new roof after Hurricane Michael struck in October of 2018. I called Travis after discovering that the almost 90 year-old asbestos roof on my family home was damaged. So I spent considerable amount of time searching for a roofing company that was reliable and yet affordable. I contacted several such companies, regarding a new roof and skylight and McKeithan and Sons were the first to respond. I found the receptionist to be warm and helpful. Although we interviewed 2 other well-respected roofing companies, our experience just flowed very smoothly. The representative, Travis, was very informative, answered all of our questions, and we were impressed with his knowledge and genuine, helpful attitude. We were kept informed of the date and time the roofers would arrive, so their were no surprise knocks on the door! We recieved a contract explaining all the details within days of agreement. The men worked arrived at 7:30, and steadily worked hard until they got the roof completed by 5:30 PM. The workers were very polite and respectful. They cleaned up any and all debris and placed in a portable dumpster. The next day this dumpster was picked up and removed by 9PM. Later in the day,Travis arrived to inspect the roof, the surrounding yard, and found a couple of nails, in an odd place too hard for the roofer's magnets to locate. Such a thorough job. Now, this is what I'm talking about. Why can't we get this kind of service from other company/corporate services? Perhaps because McKeithen and Sons is family owned and is local and has 40 years of experience in serving the Tallahassee citizenry. shop local whenever you can.
