This entailed removing material all the way to the floor joists, replacing all the sub-flooring, building up the wall studs, moving the drain to it's proper location and everything needed to properly waterproof and seal the pan and walls. The final tile replacement looks as if nothing was even done. David and Ryan are very personable and took as much time as need to explain all the steps neccesary to finalize the project. I will always call on David and Ryan for all of my repair and renovation projects.

The difference for us - Jason's professional presentation, knowledge of current Florida regulations and experience in the community. All of our questions and concerns were responded to directly. He toured the property to understand landscape conditions which lead to how the removal sequence would work. Project was on-time and per schedule. One final comment - requested Jason to return a few months later as we had some questions - he responded by showing up at the house that day and answered all questions. You simply can't go wrong.

When I tried to get them to come back and adjust the led light level they accused me of trying to steal $125.00 "handyman time" from them. I have diabetes and LED lights are too bright. This…read morecaused us much trouble as property insurance corporations pull those permits to prove the year the roof was replaced. So I spent considerable amount of time searching for a roofing company that was reliable and yet affordable. I contacted several such companies, regarding a new roof and skylight and McKeithan and Sons were the first to respond. I found the receptionist to be warm and helpful. Although we interviewed 2 other well-respected roofing companies, our experience just flowed very smoothly. The representative, Travis, was very informative, answered all of our questions, and we were impressed with his knowledge and genuine, helpful attitude. We were kept informed of the date and time the roofers would arrive, so their were no surprise knocks on the door! We recieved a contract explaining all the details within days of agreement. The men worked arrived at 7:30, and steadily worked hard until they got the roof completed by 5:30 PM. The workers were very polite and respectful. They cleaned up any and all debris and placed in a portable dumpster. The next day this dumpster was picked up and removed by 9PM. Later in the day,Travis arrived to inspect the roof, the surrounding yard, and found a couple of nails, in an odd place too hard for the roofer's magnets to locate. Such a thorough job. Now, this is what I'm talking about. Why can't we get this kind of service from other company/corporate services? Perhaps because McKeithen and Sons is family owned and is local and has 40 years of experience in serving the Tallahassee citizenry. shop local whenever you can.
