A few weeks ago, I purchased a charging cord for my phone from this store. Initially, the cord worked properly, but after several weeks, it began to malfunction. It no longer charged my phone consistently, and I often had to plug it in multiple times before it would connect. Eventually, it reached the point where I had to plug it in 15 to 20 times before it would begin charging, and even then, the connection would frequently cut off. Because I work full-time and have additional responsibilities, I had limited opportunities to visit the store to return defective merchandise. When I finally returned to Staples to exchange or return the charging cord, the clerk informed me that the item could not be returned because it was beyond the store's 14-day return period. I explained that the product was defective, but he refused to assist me. I then asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager repeated the same response and offered no alternative solution. I was disappointed that neither employee was willing to take responsibility for a defective product sold by the store or provide any form of customer accommodation. I was told that I had no recourse through Staples despite having purchased a product that failed after only a short period of use. What was most troubling was the dismissive attitude I encountered. When I stated that I would no longer shop at Staples because of this experience, the employees laughed. Customers deserve better treatment, particularly when they are attempting to resolve a legitimate issue with a defective product. I hope Staples will review this matter and consider ways to improve both its customer service and its handling of defective merchandise.

And then I happened to be in the Green Hills vicinity with a package to mail. I knew there was a UPS store on Hillsboro Pike near the mall, so I gave them a try. Oh my goodness, what a tremendous difference between them and everyone else in the business!! I walked in expecting the same disappointment that I've experienced so many times with FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service. There were two customers being helped by two employees. I didn't have much tome, and this could take forever because there will inevitably be an issue with BOTH customers that takes 20 minutes to resolve. That's how it's always been in my experience. Suddenly, as I approached the counter, a third employee emerged and happily took care of me at her register. But surely there will be some sort of issue with my package, or a delay, or a poorly trained employee that turns a simple package drop off into some sort of saga, right? No!! Absolutely no saga!! She had my package checked in and was handing me a receipt in 30 seconds. It was literally 30 seconds from the start to the finish of the transaction!! I was stunned! Thank you, UPS in Green Hills, for a painless and effortless experience far beyond any other way to ship packages in Nashville! I didn't know such a thing still existed.

Tried to explain that the previous confrontation was his responsibility, that he misunderstood something because he was on the phone at the time. He began almost yelling at me in the parking lot, in front of other customers. Using at least one cuss word. In both cases, Parrousch acted impulsively and inappropriately. In short, he has the EQ of a nine year old. He is just not suited to be a downline employee, much less a manager. Would recommend you avoid this location unless you are fond of confrontations. If I had been as impulsive and attacking as Parrousch, would've ended up in a fist fight. He outweighs me by about 40 pounds.

A dear friend was visiting from Portland, ORE. so we planned a party. My friend ordered wine for the party from wine country. I was notified it would arrive the date of the party. I went home and made the delivery change immediately. The day of party I got an email that the delivery for pick up was for the next day which was 48 hours and after the party. I was heart sick and nothing I could do. Just beware when you make a change for delivery, it takes 48 hours not 24!

It's a very famous print shop that prints posters for musicians, sports teams, and everything in between, but we had never heard of it. The print shop is currently located in the same building as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and we discovered the print gift shop the day before, as we walked through the side entrance of the building instead of the main entrance to get to the museum, although we didn't realize at the time the significance and history of the print shop, or that there were tours available. We found out about the tour (and the existence of the print shop) when we went to purchase our tickets for the museum. At the ticket desk, there was a sign with the prices of museum tickets and print shop tours, and the very friendly museum employee asked us if we knew about the print shop, which we didn't. We didn't have time for a tour of the print shop the same day we went to the museum, but fortunately we were able to purchase tickets for the next day. The cost of the tour was $23US, and the tour was about an hour. They tell you about the history of the print shop and the printing technique used (letter press printing, no more than three runs through the press), and then you have the opportunity to "print" your own mini souvenir poster (the first two layers/colors are already done, and you put the poster through the press for the third round, adding the last color). What's really cool is that every year they have a different souvenir poster, so they sort of become collectors' items, and getting a mini poster is worth the cost of the tour. The majority of the tour, where they explain the history of the print shop and the printing technique, and where you print your poster, takes place in a room covered in posters. After the talk, they allow ample time for you to take photos of all the posters. I absolutely loved the tour, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Nashville. We had never heard of Hatch Show Print, and we were thrilled to discover it. If you go to Nashville, a tour of the print shop is an absolute must. And after the tour, if you show your tour ticket, you get 10% off in the gift shop. (Of course we bought several items!) [Yelp collections: Nashville, TN 2026]
