The company secured the Calvert permit to cut a tree in the Bay zone and completed the job on time and at cost-which was reasonable. The quality of the job was better than I had asked for. It was reasonable considering it was the first cut after the winter. I increased the scope of work and he responded positively. Carlos took the time to explain what he was doing as he purged all of my sprinkler lines twice - once by manually opening each of the 18 valves and then by using the control panel. Matt and Kevin were so knowledgeable with Calvert County codes and regulations and offered a wonderful rendering to address the codes and safety! The price was fair and we plan on making them our go-to for our quoted project and many more projects! We love that they gave us a fair price upfront and didn't bargain with us once we said we could not do the project at that time. We asked several friends who each have successful landscape companies in different states and they confirmed the quote we received from Lawn Artist was very fair. We gave Kevin and Matt several inspiration pictures and the rendering we received more than met our expectations so much so that we are putting off saving for a needed kitchen renovation to save for this project instead. I had a tree struck by lightning and it also fried a lot of electronics. I had one company give me…read morean estimate that seemed outrageous. I called Calvert County Tree experts and they came out quick and surveyed all the trees and found another one that had been struck. They cut them both down for less than the first company quoted on one tree. When the crew came they made quick work of it. They topped one of them to prevent damage to other trees. And they landed exactly where they were supposed to. Something I can almost never do even on much smaller trees. Jerry also made some recommendations on other trees that are close to my house that could be a problem in the future. 5 Stars. They will be who I call whenever I need trees cut down.
