In the early years of TJ's I have to admit I didn't care for their model and selection. Turns out it was more about me and my grocery habits. Let's just say I got introduced to a lot of amazing foods much later in life... Hummus anyone? Yeah, it was that kind of existence! Alas, I, now appreciate these more exotic and strangely wonderful foods and flavors Trader Joe's has to offer. One example would be my obsession with anything Ube lately and Joes has a nice selection of Ube flavored snacks. Also,their seasonal selections are off the hook with an honorable mention to the Fall Harvest themed items. Need some brie or aged cheddar for that charcuterie board? Done! Craving some quality chocolate ice cream? TJs rivals some of the best pure chocolate flavorin town. I usually have a great experience shopping here--the staff is typically friendly, and cashiers are quick to greet you and help bag your groceries. That's one of the reasons I keep coming back. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. The cashier didn't greet me at all and made no effort to bag my items. What stood out even more was that he watched me bag everything myself without offering any assistance. It felt unwelcoming and out of line with the usual level of service I expect here. And their flower selection is even more beautiful, I buy my mom flowers from here almost every week. What can go wrong in a Trader Joe's? Absolutely nothing! I love going here for all their cool and interesting items to try. They have cool snacks in the freezer aisle that intrigues me everytime. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and it was crazy hectic, but worth it! This time around we went to buy bouquets of flowers to make flower arrangements. It's always so nice to walk down the aisles and see things clearly labeled with prices! The store was clean and well kept as usual. The service was quick too. We waited in line with about 6 people ahead of us and we were out of there in 15 minutes! I recommend Trader Joe's for those who also have food allergies. And if you haven't tried it, I recommend getting there pre sliced mozzarella and eating it with a slice of salami! read more

I like the products but THE ATMOSPHERE IS MISERABLE. ITS SO STINKING FREEZING COLD I CAN BARELY STAND IT. This is the only Trader Joe's I know has everything fully stocked, organized and the ambiance is nice. Place is arranged from floral, produce, and frozen foods in the center. I recommend shopping here due to everything near by, a Sephora and safeway! The service from the employees are amazing and go beyond what other stores go by that's why I switched to shopping here instead of safeway or savemart. I also got my tote bag here when it was released and they made sure everyone had a fair chance at getting one. So I've been going to Trader Joe's since I lived in LA - which when Trader Joe's was only in LA. I've watch as Trader Joe's moved in to Northren California - back when I lived in Vacaville - I use to make trips to the East Bay because that was the closest Trader Joe's - why did I drive 50+ miles for a grocery store - well quality products at great prices. It's been like a high end/ Speciality grocery store but at inexpensive to reasonable costs. They always have great items at good prices - example - they have the best vanilla ice cream at the highest quality level on the market. There are great fresh vegetables and fruits, some great premade meals and great and reasonable priced wine, beer and all sorts of other things. The service and people working there are generally speaking pleasant and very customer oriented. The place is kept clean and with the employees wearing Hawaiian shirts - there is even some fun in the atmosphere- the only bummer is that COVID killed their tasting of foods - which was a great way to find out if that new item worked for your taste buds or not. If you can't find something great at a Trader Joe's - you must be like a guy once worked with - he couldn't taste anything - because their food items are tasty and great items for your pets and some plants too -0plus great items for the season be it Christmas or summer or ... if you enjoy eating - you'll like it here! read more

Went to Trader Joe's on Mother's Day to buy beautiful bouquet of flowers for the wonderful women in my life. The store was packed,..however everybody was compliant and following rules. It was my first time at any Trader Joe's and it was the best experience. As a girl with high anxiety as I was inside for about 10 minutes I asked an employee for help and alberto was the nicest most helpful. While I was in line he even gave us a bag of freeze dried strawberries to try. He explained the item we were looking for they will be getting in a shipment tonight and said to come back. We felt really welcome and the prices were surprisingly better than Walmarts prices. We definitely are going back tomorrow. The employees were so nice but alberto made our day. read more

Great checkers at this location. I come here to stock up on cheese, nuts, and emergency frozen meals. They have a great selection of goat cheese and some sheep cheese. The bread department has some great choices too. Produce also has a great selection. Watch out for the maniacs in the parking lot though! read more

How did I not know this location existed? I've been driving all the way to Modesto, and that store is not comparable to this one. I love this location! The staff are super helpful and friendly. Tjs is pretty much excellent in consistency level wherever you go - this is no exception. From the premade salads to the salted chips, your grocery shopping needs are met even far far from home. Even found the ever elusive egg salad which had been missing from shelves from Modesto to LA! Can't miss with Tj offerings especially when away from home. read more

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's?! This location is always clean, stocked and the employees are super friendly. I always find myself having great organic conversations while checking out and always leave with a smile. This is my go to for meats and cheese for a quick charcuterie or flowers. I also like their dry pasta, eggs, vanilla yogurt, spices, frozen items like their roasted corn, sliced peppers, soup dumplings and ice cream. Super random but it's super convenient that they sell thier chicken breasts in a two pack. It's always fun to try the seasonal items. I have been away from this place for at least six months mainly because I stop at a Bay Area location and there is a long line outside. Pass! Today, I came here at Noon and there was no line and hardly anyone inside! My lucky day. I went up and down all aisles, my fave being the freezer aisle and had it all to myself! I found so many delightful things that only TJ's sells (frozen chicken marsala w/mashed potatoes, frozen butter chicken over white rice, frozen latkes, frozen lava cakes). I was disappointed that they were still out of truffle ketchup (have you tried it? So delicious on french fries). However, a store clerk really tried to find it for me. I had an enjoyable shopping experience! Wish there was a closer location but I have hope. read more

The Stockton Trader Joe's location, has got to be, one of the best service I've experienced. The staff here are genuinely willing to assist, and also encourage customers to get to know their products. Kudos to their checkout team for their exemplary service. Just outstanding. There are plenty of parking, products are always fully stocked, and the selections of organic foods and produce have always been my biggest draw for shopping at Trader Joe's. I sure do appreciate a Trader Joe's. Luv their products and pricing. Stockton's TJs is located in Lincoln Center near the Safeway grocery store. But even with that option across the shared parking lot, TJs is always pumping with business on the weekends I drop on by when I'm in town. This TJs is clean and organized. Friendly staff. I notice that all TJs are not very big... square footage wise. But they sure pack a lot of product in them without feeling crowded. The interior setup are also relatively the same in each shop. My favorite TJ branded products are 4 buck Chuck, $4 2 pack frozen tamales (sweet Chile), $2 jar of spaghetti sauce, and $3.50 hummus. The last time I was here was Mother's Day weekend, they had fresh cut flowers and plants in the front patio area. They were priced from $4-$20. The cut flowers were so darn fresh and alive, no wilting sad droopy heads. The flower selection and plants is what I noticed that stood out from all the other TJs. I got a wonderful lush $6 bouquet. They lasted beautifully for over 5 days. Another plus is the location. Lincoln Center is an outdoor shopping center that's been around since 1951. It is one of the premier shopping centers in Stockton. The management keeps up on the remodels and the buildings look modern and charming. Great. I really LOVE shopping at this store...usually I'm here at least twice a week but lately it's been more like 3. I love the uniqueness of some of the products they carry, I think the prices are reasonable, the customer service is outstanding, always helpful and super friendly and the store is always stocked and clean. Some of my favorite items are the tikka masala simmer sauce, frozen brown rice, olive oil, dried apricots, stone ground tortillas, the crunchy broccoli florets, (I swear it's a yummy snack that's healthier than chips)-I really could go on forever. TJ is great for a 1-2 person household. Staff is always friendly. The only problem I have shopping there are the shoppers. Either they leave the car in middle of aisle so they can shop or chit chat and block the aisle that way. Or decide to read ingredients far too long and don't move. I recently have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease where I cannot have gluten. This has been pretty rough to navigate and I think one of the employees recognized this because she came over to me while I was trying to find a good gluten free bread and pointed out her favorite one. We got to talking and I explained my situation and she ended up coming back with a list of all the gluten free products in the store, along with an employee who was also gluten free to show me what all his favorite products were, being gluten tolerant as well. Talk about ABOVE and BEYOND customer service! I wish I remembered the two employees names that helped me.
