It is Trader Joes. Parking is a little crazy but I always find a spot. Staff is wonderful and helpful. They go out of their way for you like they own the store. Selection can be a little limiting because they only sell their own products. The prices are very fair although my only general criticism is, I do not like paying per unit for fruit and vegetables. But that seems to be common these days. Pricing is very reasonable. Very well run store. MUCH BETTER than Acme. read more

A friendly staffed, local grocery store with a solid selection of groceries, produce, and plants/florals. It's not the largest Trader Joe's I've gone to, but it is reliable and I find everything I need. A positive experience I had here today was at checkout: the employee noticed that the Trader Joe's reusable bag I brought had some wear & tear near one of the handles and offered to replace it for free. The bag I had was no longer available but she helped me select a new similar reusable bag. It's these small acts of kindness and going the extra mile that makes it a part of the community. It's kind of a fun store to shop in because their packaging is always entertaining. The store is always clean and bustling. The produce section has a good selection and variety, a good nut and dried fruit section, frozen and junk food selection. They sell cheaply priced bouquets of flowers but it's cheap for a reason and I never really like their flower groupings. Some of my favorite products are the rainbow carrots, sugar snap peas, arugula. They sell sugar snap peas almost exclusively, hard to find in other grocery stores. Other than these items, the selection is identical to what other stores sell, both organic and regular. If you like hot sauce, the Green Dragon hot sauce is delicious and really well-balanced, sweet, acidic, spicy and fruity. I wish they could make a milder version. They have one cheese that's also insanely good but cannot remember which one it is. The people at the register are pleasant and the store is always bustling, however it's soul-crushing on weekends, esp. since Fairway closed, a lot of the residents who live down in the rental buildings now come here for their shopping and it's always mobbed. They have an extensive frozen food section and fun selection of cookies, chocolate and junk/snack food items. There's one doggy treat that my since adopted foster doggy went ballistic over -- he loved this one particular snack but can't remember the name. It had a softer chewy texture and was made with beef and sweet potato and came in a little pouch. He became googly eyed over these treats. The one thing I really don't like are their chocolates. I don't like any of their chocolate products, they're not tempered and are not refined tasting. Parking can be trauma-inducing but I've always found a spot. Just keep going around the loop and you'll find a spot. And if you're looking for the little tote bags, they have piles of them in all colors in front of the customer service desk as of 12/26/25. read more

I generally like Trader Joe's. This one is a hit or miss. I've been twice and I could not get into the parking lot. Lines of cars trying to get in. Yeah, a big no for me. I've been other times where sections on shelves or fridges had no product. One day I could not get milk. I'm ok with their products. One thing in the last year, both here and the place I moved from, we noticed fresh produce spoiling in just a few days. Store itself is like any Trader Joe's, people lose all ability to use a shopping cart with respect. Oh, and the people who act like tourists never having seen some of their products, always in the way. Go first thing in the morning during the week. Avoid weekends. read more

I have a back issue and I'm not able to walk a lot. I called Trader Joe's to find out if they had any kind of assistance and they said they did have electric wheelchair shopping carts. Darlene told me to ask for her when I arrived. When I got there, I was greeted by somebody who helped get me the chair and Darlene, who with great patience and kindness stayed with me the whole time helping me get things from the shelves and locate whatever I needed. The staff there was absolutely fabulous! They went out of their way to make my experience easier. The woman that helped me check out, could not have been more sweet. Super clean and organized store. Depends upon what you are looking for specifically, but there are some great prices on many of the items. I went around 8:25 this morning after seeing that they were open at 8am. As I walked in, there was a employee meeting occurring near the cash registers. As the meeting ended, during my shopping trip, you could tell that everyone who worked there really does enjoy their job. At checkout, my cashier was super friendly and kept up a great conversation during the time of the entire transaction. read more

There is a love hate relationship with this supermarket. Love: customer service. employees are always helpful. Convenient location. Hate: limited variety of items. Especially, their produce and vegetable selection. I always find myself wishing I didn't have to travel to another supermarket to finish my shopping. Secondly, the Parking entrance is often congested and frustrating when someone is waiting to park at the storefront. The backlog can deter me from waiting to turn into the lot and proceed elsewhere to shop. read more

Trader Joe's is one of those grocery stores that you hold dear to your heart and moving across the country, this location was no different. I was able to find a few of my favorite items and enjoy them at my new home away from home. They have a nice selection of fruits and veggies, as well as those Trader Joe's store brand items. They have a decent selection of frozen foods such as their orange chicken, their potstickers, frozen pizzas, pastas, and so much more. They have a nice sample area, where you can try specially selected samples which are always different on each visit. There is also a pretty good beer selection, which also includes some of the local breweries such as Two Roads and the Bronx brewery. The staff was extremely helpful and the cashier Noah was friendly during checkout. A great shopping experience! The only downside is their parking lot can be a bit crazy, especially on the weekends, so I would suggest coming here during the week for your grocery needs! read more

I love Trader Joe's in general, so naturally, I was excited to find out about this Trader Joe's near me. Okay, it's definitely a hike if you live in Downtown or Harbor Point, but it is so worth the trip. You get your money's worth for most groceries since TJ's maintains their prices as much as possible nationwide. I love how they do samples in the back, even an hour before they're about to close. Not sure if they do in the morning since I've never went early in this location before. I'd say the only thing about this location is that the parking gets really packed during peak hours, but as long as you know when the peak times are (check Google, they're helpful!), you should be good to go. read more

Awful customer service! I was in last weekend and I asked an employee, an older woman with a deep manly voice, for help and she couldn't have been more unpleasant. I was simply trying to find shredded hash browns and she kept showing me hash brown patties and insisted that they never carried shredded hash browns. She was quite rude and sharp with me. When I walked away I heard her cuss me out under her breath. At any rate, sadly I will no longer shop at this store. Such a shame as I frequented there regularly. My main complaint here at this location is that the parking lot is small, and not well organized for traffic, particularly during the holidays. On the other hand, there's not really much else to put parking, unless they dug a hole and stuck a parking garage. Anyway, other than the parking, this is a great Trader Joes. It's large, and they have a good selection of typical Trader Joes stuff. The staff are friendly and nice. I'll definitely go back ... when it's a little less busy. read more

If I died and went to heaven, this is what it would probably look like. My obsession with TJs is too real. I only docked 1 star due to the absolutely horrendous parking (not TJs fault but just the plaza itself) and expensive fruits and lack of fresh veggies. Otherwise than that, everything about this place is amazing. The workers here are some of the friendliest I've ever met (you can tell they truly love what they do) and I find this significantly cheaper than the other grocery stores. The novelty items here is what makes me come back. Guilt free guacamole? Check. $1.99 white cheddar popcorn? Check. Soy ginger balsamic vinaigrette dressing $1.99? Check. $0.99 seaweed chips? Boom. Basically it's hard NOT to buy everything here. There's just too many things to try. Also love how they have kid friendly carts and samples given out similar to Costco. AND I've got to say, they have one of the most generous return policies I've ever seen. It's built on trust, which I can see is prevalent here. Even without a receipt or explanation they are happy to assist you, whether it's to exchange products or just give you your money back. read more

This is actually a three, five and one star review. Right off the bat, the five stars are for the employees. Everyone is friendly but if you ever had questions or need assistance, this is the one store/company where the employees standout and will really will try to help you. If I ever have a heart attack, I hope it will be in this store because I have no doubt that every single employee will drop what they are doing and rush to help me survive. The second five stare goes to the Salt and Pepper potato chips. They're not regular salt and pepper chips, they're salt and pepper and an added mystery. I don't know what it is until I decided to one day after a number of years of buying them to actually read the ingredient list. So turns out they have onion, garlic and other secret flavorings. They're really something special. Five stares, noticed the typo, too lazy to change it. The third five stars goes to the Green Dragon hot sauce. I thought it was made with jalapenos all this time, I couldn't understand why this sauce was so hot and spicy. It's green so it must be jalapenos. Turns out it's made with haberneros, green ones. I thought they only grew orange. Hot but also sweet and it has cilantro blended into it. I've since stopped eating it straight from a spoon to prove to people it's not that hot when it really is. The three stars is because the overall store variety is limited and I don't like the taste of many of the prepared frozen items. Many people do like their foods whereas I don't so it limits what I can buy since I almost completely ignore any frozen boxed item (and I have tried many of them before I just gave up). The one star is for the frozen macarons that they sell in the frozen dessert section. Just get rid of them dry button shaped dry things. They serve no purpose in this world. read more

Welcome to Happyland. I've never met happier workers in my life. Have gone a few times, and now I always stop in on the way from NY to CT to get my happy fix. One lady there who is the manager - seriously I have never met a nicer, more bubbly person in my life. It was unbelievable to be around. I've never worked with people even close to this. I want to know the secret. How does one remain so happy working on their feet long hours? Aisles are more spacious than other TJ's, samples are the most of any TJ's, their new products are always fun to try, though hit or miss but I'm upping to 5 stars for the happy factor. One day was particularly bad for me.. I stopped in, had a free sample equivalent to a lunch, downed some free coffee, talked with the beyond happy cashier, walked out with skipping kids holding balloons and lollipops... and actually left there...happy. read more

4 stars for the food selection, customer service & overall vibe inside the store including the Hawaiian shirts..... Minus 20 stars for what may be the worst parking lot in Fairfield county. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say the guy who designed the Norwalk Costco parking lot (see my review) let his son have a shot at creating this epic failure. What a nightmare. It's a bottleneck to get in or out.....often compounded by buses or large cars dropping people off at the curb. Once you get past that hurdle, welcome yourself to a tiny, tiny lot with small spaces on a slant and a steep grade. It can often be a nightmare (such as on a Friday around 4:30PM as incoming cars pile up and spill out onto High Ridge Road...great, now we have a traffic problem to boot) I love the stop-gap solution: "Use the adjacent lot". What kind of crappy advice is that? Why should we be subjected to.....aahhhhh I lost my train of thought. I'd say the best choice is to go on foot, but even that is a terrible option, because the sidewalk comes to an awkward ending, and you are forced to walk on the parking lot and avoid getting hit by incoming cars. Before launching into a few positive notes, I'd like to say that I am in no way into anything organic, free range, fair trade, gluten-free or sustainable. I am however, a champion of the cheap, and there's plenty of deals to be had at Trader Joe's. On that note, Mrs Greens can kiss my ass with their overpriced, high-falootin' healthy fare. $4 for a can of soup? You must be *smoking* the saw palmetto. The good: - Candy Cane Joe Joes. (Why can't you sell them all year round?) Oooooooh, have you ever seen the holiday pack of the decadent ones that are dipped in chocolate and (I think) sprinkled with crack? They cost like $8, worth every dollar. If Mr. Burns were real, these would be the cookies he would eat. - Great beer, sold by the bottle. Off topic: you ever see a true alcoholic who buys one bottle of beer & a nip at the liquor store after work? That's hardcore! Well, you can't get the airplane bottle of vodka, but you can get a loosey beer at TJ's. (Not to be confused with a loosey B.J. at Tiernan's) - I like the Indian TV dinners. - And the PB&J chocolate bars! In closing, I'd like to say that Trader Joe's is leaving money on the table by NOT charging for coffee. Instead, they hand out free (but tiny) Dixie cups at their "do-it-yourself" sample counter. Like most filthy rich Fairfield Countians (County-ites?) I would prefer to fork over money for goods & services. However, I think I'm going to start filling up my commuter mug and save the $2 I'd spend at Donut Delight. Another 45 minutes of my life wasted writing this garbage. Yelp! read more

AMAZEBALLS. I'm elated that there's finally a market in the area that is both reasonably priced AND has fresh, quality products. I haven't purchased anything that I haven't loved including some fresh sea scallops, which to be honest I was rather skeptical of at first. The employees are helpful, friendly, and competent. Also, I brought the TJ's herbed brie dip to Thanksgiving as an appetizer along with some cut up veggies and it got rave reviews. I typically shop at the UWS Trader Joe's, but I was in Stamford at my in-laws for the weekend and decided to do my weekly shopping while there. This location is brand new... and awesome. I was expecting that there would be lines out the door at 11am on Sunday, as they would be in NYC, but the place was totally calm and organized. It looks like any other suburban Trader Joe's. The layout is manageable with wide aisles and logical placement of items. I was a bit disappointed that the TJ's brand cornbread and coconut water were not available, but I won't hold that against them. World's friendliest employees are par for the course. The cart collector helped us load the groceries and asked if we'd had a good shopping experience. Wow. Love this place and I plan to do my shopping at this location whenever possible! read more

By far the best Trader Joe's I have been to. Despite lines of cars waiting to get in (hint pull into / park in next parking lot over), I had no issues wandering the store and finding everything I needed. Aisles are much wider than most and all cashiers appeared competent and speedy. Joe's frozen mac and cheese puts all others to shame. It's pretty awesome. Other frozen favorites include tamales, shu mai, potstickers, wide range of Indian dishes, mochi, and virtually every dish I've tried. Good assortment of dairy products. Meat selection is impressive for a store this size. Good variety in the bakery section as well. Joe's products tend to be more health-conscious (e.g., no preservatives, non-GMO, organic, etc) but full of flavor with proper portion sizes. Prices can actually be less than major grocery stores and far less than Whole Foods or Fairway. For $30 I left with two large bags nearly overflowing. I brought home half as much food from Stop & Shop with that budget. However, I didn't price compare any specific item. Quite frankly, I've always found Joe's to be a bargain for the quality and quantity you receive. read more

I've always liked TJs and am glad to have one nearby, now. I have to agree that the parking lot leaves a lot to be desired (no pun intended). It has way too few parking spots for the audience and leaves many people stopping in front of the store and blocking access. The parking is not their fault, but it is a problem for this location. The food selection is pretty similar to other TJs I've shopped in, and I love the staff at this store. They are friendly, exceptionally helpful, and follow the tradition of Trader Joe's everywhere. I have the same problem as another reviewer, in that Trader Joe's, although priced well and great selection of special goodies, always seems to leave me having to stop at another store for something. This is not particular to this Trader Joe's location, though. They ALL have a strange mix of absolutely wonderful items, but don't have some of the staples I need to stop off for all the time. read more

The products: fresh, beautifully arranged, and always keep bringing new products which is fun to try. The prices: some products more expensive than other not TJ places. But for the unique products there is nothing to compare. The staff: the best! You can tell that they work and happy to come to work.
