Trader Joe's is fairly consistent in pricing throughout the country. I don't think I pay more for most stuff here in the GBA than in a Trader Joe's in Michigan. It's a nice alternative to Whole Foods. This Trader Joe's is kind of small but there is still a good selection of frozen foods in both ready made meals and fresh fruits. Try the gulbi, total killer! The bread department is a bit lacking in fresh choices. Okay selection of cheeses. They have mozzarella in herbs, and prepackaged thinly sliced prosciutto for less than $4, both yummy in sandwiches. Not a lot of fresh veggies but what they have are less expensive than most stores. They have a parking which is a plus. It's a really good place to swing by to pick up stuff for preparation of a quick meal or just odds and ends for making lunch at work. read more

This was the first Trader Joe's I ever went to, and therefore it holds a special place in my heart. I like it--the service is friendly, the selection is awesome (except, as pointed out, the produce section is a little lacking). My personal favorite is the Pirate's Booty. Wow, maybe this is just the day before Thanksgiving talking but this TJ's is kind of insane. Parking is weirdly set up so the whole lot is congested. The actual store is small and set up in a weird square. Their quantities of products are limited because of the size of the store. They seem to have everything, just a lot less of it. The area around the checkout is small and pretty clustered. The staff is super nice though. Probably wouldn't rush back to this TJ's since I live right near the Alewife and Arlington stores which are much bigger and have better parking. read more

Not sure if I went on an off night but at 7 pm on a Saturday they had very little stocked. The meat/cheese/produce/most refrigerator stuff was very slim pickings. The store is tiny and honestly a giant disappointment. I'll go to Foxboro next time. read more

This TJ's seems quite a bit smaller than both the Newton and Brookline stores (although parking is way, way better!). No 3-Buck Chuck here either, booo. But, however, I discovered the most glorious chocolate peanut butter cups here, and now I am in heaven. There are no words to describe their goodness and peanut butter-y oozy-ness. Good location - just a little small compared to a Whole Foods or other TJ locations. Still very happy that they exist only a mile from our house - just wish they would expand. Trader Joe's brand foods are a staple in our home so we are regulars. Employees are very helpful and the place is always clean and organized. read more

Be careful here with the produce section.. some items are not as fresh as they could be. The frozen meal selection is very good.

Had my first visit to this Trader Joe's today. The best grocery store I have ever been to. They have a great selection of good quality food at reasonable prices. I live much closer to the Trader Joe's located in Brookline but I prefer to travel to this location. It offers a much better parking situation and usually has everything I need in stock. The staff is super friendly! This is my favorite place to shop for groceries. read more

I went into Trader's today to get a few things for my grandparents and cannot express how wonderful the staff is. As I was checking out I asked about the green tea mints sitting by the checkout- just wondering for a future visit. We were having a nice chat, discussing new products and on my way out, the cashier ran after me with a tin of the mints I had mentioned. Hard to find a good selection of basic items like muffins. Expiration dates on bread were cutting it close. Produce was okay not great -- kind of dry with a metallic taste (pears). Staff have inattention to task issues, and difficulty with motor control and bowl you over in a rush. Patrons are the same. Is there something in the water? read more

I really enjoy shopping at this Trader Joe's. It is small so you do not feel overwhelmed. But the selection is very good. I particularly enjoy the Trader Joe brand items. The frozen food selection is especially good. You are able to find many organic items not available elsewhere. And the prices are very reasonable - always a plus! read more

This is a large store. The aisles are wide. The displays are sparking clean. The fruit man offered to help me select. The check-out man offered to start running my first cart through, while I completed my selections in a second cart. Two workers pushed my carts to the car, and loaded my bags in. read more

First off, I love Trader Joes, its always the first stop when I'm home from school. I stock up on all the good foods and head back to New York. they have a variety of all sorts of special eats from molten chocolate lava cakes to rack of lamb. I love would drive out of my way to come to this trader over the brookline or newton location. The parking is easy and the staff is wonderful. I recently purchased a loaf of bread that got moldy the next day. Brought it back to the store without a receipt and got a new loaf and a apology! Doesn't get better than that! read more

I do shop Trader Joe's every week. The store has many great selections but not always in stock. The staff are friendly and helpful and are sorry when items are not in stock. The Parking Lot is very, very challenging. I try to go at later evening times and it works out better. read more

I love this store and shop there all the time. All my experiences in the store have been great--the folks who work there are very friendly and kind and helpful. My only bad experiences have been with an employee named Sunny, who shames me for not bringing recyclable bags (we have a dog and reusable bags left in my car would be dirty) and who also throws my food like she's bowling when I'm bagging my own groceries as I always do. For a long time I avoided her aisle, then noticed her in the store doing other things, and thought she'd been given something else to do because she's so bad with the customers. Then, unfortunately, the other day I wasn't paying attention and ended up at her checkout lane. It was again unpleasant and it's been about six months since I last went through her lane. Please give her other things to do. I don't want to shop anywhere else, but I will if she stays on the register. read more

Worst customer service at checkout, arrogant talks back to customer. Only TJ workers are correct, customer is not allowed to have an opinion (customer responding to TJ worker comment). Take my money and shut the fxxk up (so I can be gone), sheep can not think. Although I don't go here on a regular basis I have been many many times and have always loved the selection and the service here. The staff is very helpful with questions and inquiries and if they don't know the answer they try to get it for you.
