Turkey gobbler wrap
Tommy L.

New food review for Trader Joe's! This one's part of my ongoing mission to hit every single Trader Joe's in Orange County and LA and try as many items as I can. Today it's the Turkey Gobbler Wrap. This wrap is packed with roast turkey breast, stuffing, cranberries, and cream cheese, all rolled up in a wheat tortilla. You also get this thick gravy-style dipping sauce on the side that's the best part. It pulls the whole thing together and makes it taste like a full Thanksgiving plate in every bite. You get a savory turkey and stuffing combo experience, then the sweet-tart cranberry cuts through, and the cream cheese adds that smooth, tangy layer. The tortilla's soft and wraps it all in nicely. If you're into holiday flavors or just want a grab-and-go bite that gives off serious comfort food vibes, this one is for you. Definitely one of the more unique wraps they've put out and worth trying if you're swinging through Trader Joe's.

The scented smell of fresh basil :)

Since I am in the area , I stopped in to grab some fresh basil . I used alot of basil when i make pastas and Trader's Joe is the only chain stores that has it in a big batch and the price is extrodinary cheaper. Trying out the viral skin care on IG , marula facial oil .

This store is my local favorite for sure! Now, I saw a funny reel on insta that had 2 men walking out of a Trader Joe's talking to camera saying " we have to go to another grocery store " to buy all the things that Trader Joe's didn't have!!! I guffawed and nodded in agreement... I am happy to supplement my food shopping by going to up to 3 stores! No biggie! Anyway, today I ran in for a few items when I overheard a conversation between a customer and the woman at the register discussing TJ's 40spf mineral sunblock ... definitely interested me and I asked them about the product! Well, I was convinced. I bought it especially bc I need to wear sunblock for my swimming exercises 4 times a week... can't wait to try ...& this is why I love this store. People who work here are engaging and so helpful! And I was told if I wasn't happy with this sunblock, I could return it... no offense to my people At Ralph's, but no one ever talks to me about nor suggests any products ... please don't think I am being disrespectful bc I appreciate everyone who works in this industry! Customer service at TRADER JOE'S? There aren't enough stars to convey my happy experience!

This is a smaller store. Store is clean and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

Worst curry chicken salad ever! All filler, no chicken.

Worst curried chicken salad in the world! All carbs and no chicken. Stay away from this stuff. And by the way, the recipe on this has changed because they used to put nice big chunks of chicken and now there are no chunks and just a tiny bit of chicken. I think I counted 15 soggy cashew nuts instead. All filler, no chicken.

This is my favorite local Trader Joes. Always so clean and good vibes all around. AM is usually the best time to shop.

I honestly dont know why anyone would want to drink a matcha and shop at the same time, but this…read moreplace is really great for the coffee shake I'm addicted to. It's called Canyon Coffee, but the menu has a rotating selection of espressos, so I'm assuming. The cashier ladies are nice, a bit slow, but there's a seating area so you're not in a long line while a bunch of people wait next to you. They always close the hot foods early so if you need to customize any drinks or order a matcha first, be sure to go to the espresso station and then the cashier station, before purchasing groceries. Better than Lazy Acres/Bristol Farms. L.A. G&C blends in beautifully with the community the market with space set up for craft collabs and the holiday fair, and integrates nuances as distinguishable as Erewhon's, but defines its offering apart from other markets. The only thing is, they dont have many outlets which is strange because the seating area houses so many people theoretically speaking.

The hot food bar definitely needs improvement and definitely not for those prices. Lacks flavor and the temperature is always cold. -_- I went there 3 days in a row and noticed The cucumber salad isnt fresh and made daily. Tried it and trashed it. Tried the Cortado and Latte and their espresso is very bitter and lacked depth. Most of the staff on the floor are rude and are "checked out" and very unwelcoming. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Also, the prices are very reasonable, especially during sales, so it's cheaper than at neighboring markets. Also, it's nice that there is a bakery and a mini restaurant inside the market. It's also cool that they have a little Nature Republic section in the store, since it's sometimes hard to find specific Nature Republic products. I asked the cashier if she had any paper towels, and she initially said no, but then she took one out from behind the counter and handed it to me. Then she asked me if I still wanted to keep the pickled radish. Like, seriously? I didn't make that hole! Why would I want to keep something that spilled all over my bags and made all my groceries smell sour? And then, instead of helping me clean up, she went off to get more paper towels and started wiping down the counter with Windex. Meanwhile, I had a mountain of groceries to bag, and she just left me to do it all by myself. What kind of cashier acts like that? And just for the record, it was a female cashier.

Today…read moreI was doing my monthly Rosie Bunny Bean run, hadn't had my morning kombucha and decided to stop in. I was promptly greeted by Marcy - she's amazing btw! I asked her how things worked and she explained it all. The kefir/kombucha bottles are $4 for 16 oz and they have 3 of each on tap. I asked Marcy about one before realizing everything had a QR code and you can easily pull up the ingredients and descriptions/directions for each item. I'm getting away from plastics and this place scratches me right where I itch! They sell just about anything you can imagine! I was so impressed w the selection! They even have produce and fresh sourdough bread! The day old is 50% off and I'm so mad I was in a pinch and had to buy store bought bread, otherwise I would've tried it today. I can't say enough. Even the music was fire and I was shazaming and jamming. Shower gels, body care, non seed oils, baking mixes, laundry pods and things you see in bulk at like Sprouts, but the quality and sourcing seems to be better. Some items don't need jars and they sell paper bags for .10 each. I did a kombucha/kefir tasting. Marcy brought these steel bowls over. No waste at all! If you drink the POG kefir soda at Erewhon and love it, try it here! It's made w fruit and is noticeably better! And POG there is my fave. Just try it at Re_!!! So when I was checking out I asked Marcy about being more prepared and bringing my own glasses next time. They've thought of everything!!!! There's iPads and scales in the front of the store. They weigh your empty containers and give you a sticker with the tare weight and then subtract it from the weight at the end! Revolutionary! They add 3% for the employees. I should've added more. Marcy was amazing and worth it. I'm honestly not big on tipping everyone for just breathing but if all the employees are like Marcy, they are worth way more than 3%! If you sign up you get 100 points instantly, $1 = 1 pt, and at 200 pts you get $10! It's not hard to spend in places like this but it's beyond worth it. I keep seeing things about the harms of plastic and don't get me started on all the other crap in our food. I foresee this as a new staple in my diet and home. They even have cleaning products! I'm getting my spices here from now on too! I'm a fan and I'll be back! Thank you Marcy and to the owners that had this amazing idea!
