What I bought , was about $100 but where Else do you find protein for $18??

I don't really have anything negative to say. Only that I might've found my new favorite grocery store ! I typically go shop at Ralph's or Vons & sometimes I like to go to different groceries to see what I can find (like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's ) . I suggest to go shop at Aldi first then go to a different market for anything you don't find. *I was looking for plain yogurt but there was only greek yogurt . The yogurt could've been sold out but I didn't find any or ask. * But honestly this store has a lot of good things ! The strawberries were at a really good price & so good ! I do recommend having a quarter for the grocery cart & bringing your own bags ( a lot of customers get boxes ). Anyway trust me & go shop here !! Amazing deals & great atmosphere! Service was good too !! ** brands may not be as popular , but I say you still go & check it out !**

    Disgusting carts n area

Employees don't Greet nor say please n thank you they act like they're doing you a favor. Throw your hard earn groceries in the basket. The carts and cart area disgusting. There no management nor leadership. Use to be great but those day are gone. Maybe the Gardena store has better customer service n cleanliness!

N one of the last styles down on the left is the low refrigerator/freezer

My sister turned me onto all these a couple years ago. I like it so much that I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go grocery shopping there. I like to eat a pack of beef jerky while I'm there lol. The stores are all set up the same very convenient. They don't have 20 different brands for one product say for instance, peanut butter all these may have three different types. They're not namebrand but they're all good and you have a few to choose from. They used to have these big huge grapes that were just burst in your mouth, I loved eating a fine of those while I was in the store too. You don't get bags at Aldi's. You have to either bring your own or I like to use the old boxes and fill up my food and take it home and then throw away the boxes in the dumpster over by my place. That's about as green as I can get... You got a put a quarter in the shopping cart. It releases itself with a little change to the next grocery cart so they are locked together and keep somebody from having to go out into the parking lot and retrieve grocery carts. I'm sure that keeps down the cost which they then pass on to their shoppers. That's me. Period the store is real clean and they may only have 3-4 people running the store at a whole time. That again keep down the cost normal Grocery store would probably have 15 people. Not all AlDi's. .If you have never shopped at an Aldi's you should give them a try. If it wasn't for my persistent sister making me shop their, I would never even heard of their name. I'm glad I did. To me it's likethe Trader Joe's. Stores. Small but packed with some good beans at a more than fair produce... for Aldi's....

Being European I'm familiar with the German supermarket chain "Aldi." It's a basic concept. Nothing fancy, it's rather basic. This is far from Trader Joe's, Wholefoods or even your typical American Ralph's or Safeway. Groceries are displayed in a very basic way. It saves time thus labor which all equals "cheap." In my opinion we need more stores like this next to my favorite Trader Joe's and Wholefoods. Even though I frequently shop at the latter and definitely at TJ's, I think Aldi is contributing and there's nothing with healthy competition for Safeway -Ralph's. Indeed, take a quarter and get your shopping cart. This store is not huge, but enough choice. Their fresh produce section -I'm talking lettuce and whatnot - isn't the best so I don't buy it here. I'm trying to eat mostly vegetarian, so can't judge the meat department. Will try their pork roast because it looked pretty good to me for a Sunday roast. Will definitely be back.

Oranges with no seeds and yellow inside. Bitter as well!

I was amazed by so many items that I've never seen or even heard of before, including green almonds with the outer shell, which felt like velvet! I also saw some of the biggest heirloom tomatoes ever! I felt like a kid in a candy store, however, it was delicious and colorful fruit instead! I enjoyed every moment of discovering of new items! Variety is key | There was definitely a variety of price points, some higher than others! You choose what works for you! Inside | Neat and tidy! Many items were lined up ,which I love! The prices were clear, front and center! I absolutely loved that! There was also a sign showing where in the world the items were from, so cool! Sightings | While exploring the store with my Chef friend, I was introduced to another Chef and she was fun to speak to as well! It was fun, checking out the large tea section with her! Also, fun running into a recording artist that I listen to on a regular basis and chatting, as well as being invited to her upcoming event! What a fun & popular store! Checkout | Customer service was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the store, as I interacted with several people who answered my questions easily, and with a smile! I ended up getting delicious, stuffed dates, sesame cookies, a fruit called mamey sapote & another exotic fruit, which I can't think of the name of at the moment (Total $26)! My Chef friend got watermelon water & the recording artist got coconut water! Overall | Yes, please! I'm grateful that my Private Chef friend introduced me to this market! Wow. It had been a…read morecouple of years since I first became aware of Bloom Ranch. I'm not originally from California, but in the spaces I've moved through, I've always done my best to support Black-owned businesses whenever possible. Unbeknownst to me, I had no idea Bloom Ranch hosted a jazz brunch experience on the property. I was reminded about Bloom Ranch by someone whose opinion I trust deeply. She had traveled all the way from San Diego for the experience and left without words. She couldn't quite explain the levity, the love, the light, or what she had felt there. That was all I needed to know. I immediately booked a Sunday brunch and came with my partner and another couple. The experience begins long before you arrive. Driving from Pasadena into Acton, the landscape slowly transforms. The city gives way to rocky hills, rugged peaks, and wide-open skies. Then suddenly, you turn into Bloom Ranch and find yourself transported. Lush gardens, lavender, herbs, fruit trees, and rows of vibrant greenery welcome you onto the property. It feels as though you've stepped into another world entirely. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not only by the Bloom Ranch staff, the people who steward and cultivate the land, but by what genuinely felt like family. From start to finish, we were cared for, supported, and guided through an experience that felt intentional in every way. The soulful jazz music would periodically pull you out of conversation because it was simply too beautiful not to fully absorb. The food was prepared in-house, sourced from the land, and served by people whose care and intention could be felt in every detail. What surprised me most was how spiritual the experience felt. There is something profoundly grounding about being surrounded by people who genuinely love the land, nurture it, and share its abundance with others. In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, Bloom Ranch offers something increasingly rare, presence. It invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember your connection to nature, community, and yourself. I am filled with immense gratitude for having experienced something so special, created by people who look like me, people who feel like me, people who are intentionally cultivating peace, connection, stewardship of the land, and community. I was also filled with an incredible sense of pride. Bloom Ranch is the largest Black-owned ranch in Los Angeles County, and its existence feels both meaningful and necessary. Dr. Bill Releford is a beacon, a pillar of optimism, wisdom, and possibility. To witness someone carry the values and lessons of his upbringing through a successful medical career and into the creation and stewardship of Bloom Ranch is truly inspiring. And then there is Debra Releford, the Matriarch, whose warmth and presence seem to illuminate the heart and soul of the ranch itself. To say that I will return almost feels inadequate. It makes it sound like Bloom Ranch is simply a venue where one has an experience and then goes home. That is not what this felt like. What it felt like was being welcomed into a family. Into a community. Into a frequency of love, joy, nourishment, and belonging that has been needed for a very long time. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Dr. Bill Releford, Debra, and the entire team who made this experience possible. What you have created is deeply meaningful. Forever grateful.
