We were a party of 22, and they were able to seat all of us together, which was definitely appreciated. The brunch spread included an omelet station, waffles, fried chicken, chicken sausage, grits and veggies, green salad, fresh fruit, and peach dump cake. They also offer peach and watermelon mimosas made with their own sparkling wine from Ojai and freshly juiced fruit. The live saxophonist was such a nice touch and created the perfect Sunday brunch vibe. After brunch, we stopped by their store, where they sell fresh fruits and vegetables, olive oil, body butters, soaps, and more. They even offer a seasonal fruit and veggie box subscription. One of best parts of the experience was the story behind it. Beautiful place, they did a lot of work, and it shows. The grits were yummy. Very friendly staff. The only discomfort was the loudness of the music, even my watch kept signaling "loud environment". The folks at our table had to yell at each other the whole time we were there. Bloom Attended Sunday Jazz Brunch 8/9/26. Loved the "farmers market". So many items available for purchase. Kelly and Heather were more than helpful in providing a short tour of the market and assisting me with my purchases. Brunch was organized with plenty to eat and drink. Staff at the market and the brunch were abundant, friendly and courteous. Staff made the visit even more special. Food was fresh, hot and better than expected. Three types of mimosas were available and were overflowing. Staff made sure we had water and ice. It was HOT! The owner, Dr. Bill Releford, gave a welcome and background about the largest Black-owned ranch in LA County. A saxophonist played and took requests and there was also a raffle. Shuttle service to and from the parking lot was appreciated by guests. Some of my party took the shuttle from Inglewood. Parking was at a gated location. The driver, Amber, got us to the ranch early and back to our cars safely. Official Transportation (310) 295-9105 was the provider and I enjoyed interacting with both Amber and Madeline. I thought I'd be able to pick peaches but the staff had already picked them for us. So, I just had to purchased what I wanted to take home. I was grateful because it would have been too hot for me to be in the midst of the farm picking peaches myself! After brunch, I actually became over heated. Debra Releford, Dr. Bill's wife, saw me and realized I needed assistance. Bless you Miss Debra! You and your staff attended to me an I felt safe and well cared for! I finally made it to Bloom Ranch after 2 yrs of hearing about them. I let them know that it was my first visit and the staff was very welcoming and showed me the different variations of watermelons and showed me the process of the black eyed peas. The ranch is beautiful and very peaceful. They have chickens that walk the grounds during the week, and I saw pear trees, peach and even some pomegranate trees. They also have a skin, body and fragrance store and it spells delightful in there. Very fresh, and slightly mild, yet pleasant. I can't wait to come back for the peach festival in September on the 5th. There is parking, Porter potty's, and event space and, it's black owned!!! read more

That alone says a great deal about how special this place has become to me. I truly love everything about Bloom's Ranch. It is a wonderful destination with a welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and an experience that feels memorable every time. I wanted to share that experience with my friends and family, especially my mother, who is currently visiting from Arkansas. It was important to me that she could see why I speak so highly of the ranch. Your staff members are awesome. They are friendly, helpful, and contribute greatly to the warm environment that makes guests feel comfortable and appreciated. The food is amazing as well, and it is always one of the highlights of every visit. I also want to recognize the saxophonist. He is an excellent performer and a true professional. He has a great sense of the audience, the atmosphere, and exactly what music to play at the right time. His performance adds so much to the overall experience and creates an enjoyable setting for everyone. The store is also out of control--in the best possible way. There are so many great items that I could easily go bankrupt shopping there. I always find something I want to take home. I gave this a five because six was not an option Myself and seven others went to the Sunday brunch. The drive up was beautiful; everything to be prepared for (arrival time/weather) is on their site and in the information when tickets are purchased. The location is truly beautiful. Everyone working there is so courteous and professional. All the men were dressed in beautiful denim overalls and white shirts ... it added to the ambience and professionalism. There was a teenage girl who was also a waitress (I forgot her name) she was so sweet and welcoming as well. The food was amazing and amazingly fresh. Wow. It had been a couple of years since I first became aware of Bloom Ranch. I'm not originally from California, but in the spaces I've moved through, I've always done my best to support Black-owned businesses whenever possible. Unbeknownst to me, I had no idea Bloom Ranch hosted a jazz brunch experience on the property. I was reminded about Bloom Ranch by someone whose opinion I trust deeply. She had traveled all the way from San Diego for the experience and left without words. She couldn't quite explain the levity, the love, the light, or what she had felt there. That was all I needed to know. I immediately booked a Sunday brunch and came with my partner and another couple. The experience begins long before you arrive. Driving from Pasadena into Acton, the landscape slowly transforms. The city gives way to rocky hills, rugged peaks, and wide-open skies. Then suddenly, you turn into Bloom Ranch and find yourself transported. Lush gardens, lavender, herbs, fruit trees, and rows of vibrant greenery welcome you onto the property. It feels as though you've stepped into another world entirely. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not only by the Bloom Ranch staff, the people who steward and cultivate the land, but by what genuinely felt like family. From start to finish, we were cared for, supported, and guided through an experience that felt intentional in every way. The soulful jazz music would periodically pull you out of conversation because it was simply too beautiful not to fully absorb. Just went here a little over a week ago got a bag of peaches and when I got home, they were rockhard. They had them in the fridge. Took almost a week for them to ripen up and add a five peaches eaten two of them have had worms inside. I've gone here for many years. Such a great adventure. Celebrating a friends birthday and we rode up to see the produce, nature and got the chance to take a tour. All staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the product. The energy was so relaxing, happy and tasty! We were able to sample the vinaigrette, tangerines, trail mix, toffee, jams and butter. My favorite was the honey ginger and peach vinaigrette. The trail mix was addictive and the honey was so good. Bloom Ranch is owned and operated by Dr. Bill and Debra Releford. It is the largest black owned ranch in LA County. It was such a pleasure to meet them. Had an outstanding time here Sat. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed so many samples of the butters, granola, toffee, balsamic vinegars and olive oils, we had to buy some of each, as well as the driving tour which came with a goodie bag containing body butter, rosemary oil, and dry rub. We went to the bloom ranch last week on Friday, It was very quiet. We got lost getting there the GPS took us to another property.. where we encounter another person lost as well trying to get to the bloom ranch. there was no food to order or anything. We got there and it looked empty. We only went to the store, but did not feel welcome at all. We were follow by the cashier. They have cameras everywhere and they also follow you. The lay out was a bit confusing, the vegetables were located in the back of the store , there were no prices on them. You had to be asking. There was line dancing that day the reason we went in which it started at 4pm that day, we got there around 3pm to venture the Ranch, however, there was no guide to what we can do or what the ranch offers. They have soaps, honey, olive oils, bath booms, scented oils, Tote bags and small trinkets. We got honey I thought it was farm grown, but the lady said it came from Temecula or Tahachepi. There was no ambiance whatsoever, so we left. Maybe we got there too early I was a bit disappointed since I was so excited to explore the ranch! read more

Hello fam! First time at Bloom Ranch and here are a few thoughts: the hospitality was on point! The wait staff and security were very accommodating, tentative and polite. The atmosphere of being on a ranch was nice. The music was nice, also...We enjoyed that! The food: lukewarm. The fried chicken was good...grits and collards were hot temperature-wise but really no flavor and it was more like a sauce for shrimp or fish. I didn't taste the omelets, but one guest said it was good...the eggs tastes "fresh"...As coffee drinkers , we were disappointed that there was no coffee or tea available to have with our meal (or what was told to us)...the mimosa was okay but lacked flavor and one guest said the mimosa they had with liquor tasted watered down! Also, the "silver" bathroom had no running water so you had to wash your hands outside... Would I return there? Probably no time soon read more

Way overpriced at $81 for a champagne brunch. It is not champagne that they serve it's sparkling cider with orange juice and they call that on a mimosa! I ordered straight champagne and when I complained it didn't taste right they admitted it was sparkling cider. The food is very limited for the price they charge. My focus was the jazz brunch as it was too hot to tour. Brunch featured a saxophonist performing a range of covers. They had a full brunch spread. I recently attended a brunch at Bloom Ranch in Acton, CA. Bloom Ranch is Los Angeles County's largest Black-owned ranch, led by Dr. Bill Releford group. Our group organizer asked everyone to arrive to the ranch by 9:30 a.m. My wife and I made the long drive from the Torrance, Ca area. Although the trip was lengthy, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival by the warm welcome and helpful staff assisting with parking, which made for a positive first impression. We arrived to Bloom Ranch arriving at 9:30 a.m., after a long drive from the Torrance area. Despite the chilly 41-degree weather, the staff made everyone comfortable by welcoming our group inside to warm up before seating us outdoors. With about 100 guests in attendance, and heat lamps provided, the setup was well organized and accommodating. Guests were dismissed by tables to enjoy a brunch that was fresh, hot, and delicious. From eggs, grits, and waffles to a made-to-order omelet station, every dish was prepared perfectly. The attentive food crew ensured coffee and juice were served promptly and professionally. Adding to the atmosphere, a live saxophonist provided enjoyable music during the meal. After brunch, guests were invited to explore the Bloom Ranch Store, which offered a wide variety of goods including fresh eggs, greens, honey, butter, pantry items, harvest boxes, candles, vinegar, and more. I came with a group so we had a scheduled private tour of the farm in collaboration with Chef Camila Casañas who led a cooking class with produce straight from the farm. Kelly and Nick from Bloom Ranch welcomed us so warmly and showed us so much love and care! This is such a beautiful farm with rich culture and so cool to the the largest Black-owned farm in LA! I felt so lucky to be there to see the hollyhocks in bloom! They have become a new favorite flower. I cannot wait to be back and bring my loved ones here. Amazing!!! We came here about a month ago and took a mobile tour of the grounds. Our driver was lovely and gave us many facts of the history of this beautiful ranch. She stopped along the way and snipped different herbs and flowers for us to take home. Back at the heart of the ranch is a wonderful store with the most incredible products...fresh collard greens and lots more! i bought the Lemongrass balm which is gorgeous for the skin and the scent is breathtaking! Their loaves of bread....OMG!...will change your life. We bought one with their olive oil and some balsamic vinegar! Wow and wow! The employees were so welcoming and so were their beautiful Pyrenees dogs. Everything about this place is special. The history and diversity needs to be celebrated. Yesterday's Sunday Brunch was amazing at "The Bloom Ranch in Acton, CA"!!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with outstanding hospitality from all the staff members who we encountered. The Ranch is beautiful and is over 250 acres I believe he said, the views of the mountains are incredible. The wooden deck where the brunch is held is amazing and decorated so nicely, with the setup for whichever kind of jazz performer is there for the day. No worries because it's great views no matter where they seat you at for Brunch But we were blessed and had front row seats today!!! The Cowboy waiters were extra extraordinary and had perfect personalities and hospitality which made the atmosphere even more special. The food options were amazing and tasty The champagne was flowing and in different flavors ranging from the typical mimosas to watermelon mimosas to peach mimosas Such a variety of mimosas cocktails The saxophone performance was wonderful We were taken care of constantly our cups overflowing with champagne music was grooving the crowd!!! A World-Class Hidden Gem - A Must-Visit! The moment we pulled up to Bloom Farm Ranch, I was in LOVE The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of joy. Every person we encountered made us feel right at home, and the market? Absolutely irresistible! Our group couldn't help but buy a little of everything--fresh greens, warm cinnamon buns, creamy ice cream, freshly squeezed orange juice, luxurious bath bombs (a huge hit with my daughter!), and the most heavenly scented candles (cocoa butter & cashmere, pure bliss). My family and I just visited this farm for the first time for their BHM celebration and we had such a pleasant time. The grounds are like a little oasis, not much is blooming during this time of year. But I look forward for going back this late summer/fall. They had some of the most delicious strawberries that I've had in a long time. They tasted so fresh and sweet. We also got some greens, bread, honey, butter, vinaigrette, well as you can see we got a little bit of everything. Everything we tried was absolutely yummy. Visiting this Black owned ranch with a friend made for a lovely weekend. Located less than an hour drive from Los Angeles and not too far from Palmdale, Bloom Ranch is fairly easy to find as there are numerous signs, but parking is limited. During the regular harvesting season, there'd likely be more activities. But since we came after the main harvest was completed there wasn't that much left to pick. We took a very interesting and adventures tour with Elijah, learning about the farm's history and future plans. The tour highlighted where they grow peaches, pears, and marigolds, but the sunflower and pumping patch were dry. In the gift shop they sell fresh veggies from the greenhouses, frozen peaches and pears from past harvests, and handmade soaps and souvenirs. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a great time with many great photo opportunities. Being out in the natural ambiance was definitely good for the soul. I highly recommend it. read more
