I finally made it to Bloom Ranch after 2 yrs of hearing about them. I let them know that it was my first visit and the staff was very welcoming and showed me the different variations of watermelons and showed me the process of the black eyed peas. The ranch is beautiful and very peaceful. They have chickens that walk the grounds during the week, and I saw pear trees, peach and even some pomegranate trees. They also have a skin, body and fragrance store and it spells delightful in there. Very fresh, and slightly mild, yet pleasant. I can't wait to come back for the peach festival in September on the 5th. There is parking, Porter potty's, and event space and, it's black owned!!!

I believe this is the bunk house and a level above, the main house. Beautiful!

Country living at its finest! Such lovely, welcoming people here to guide you through the agricultural bounty and areas of the ranch. The produce is amazing, robust and SO DELICIOUS! Fresh eggs??? A dozen for $8, fresh from the chickens you can see opposite the store, is a deal. Besides being a great place for fresh produce and a lovely place to visit for farm fresh items, this ranch is available for events. I attended the Boots and Bloom Line Dancing Experience this weekend and was SO THANKFUL to also find a LARGE COVERED - aka OUT OF THE BLAZING SUN! - area with SO MUCH SPACE, we line danced in circles! LOL! Lots of room to spread out, plenty of supervised parking with and easy to navigate, one way in, one way out set-up. Andy Gumps are large and well maintained. Enroll in their produce to your home subscription service for a true farm-to-table experience everyday! But come by to see how real folk, making a real ranch thrive, are proud, nice and real friendly! Cheers! "CC"

We went to the bloom ranch last week on Friday, It was very quiet. We got lost getting there the GPS took us to another property.. where we encounter another person lost as well trying to get to the bloom ranch. there was no food to order or anything. We got there and it looked empty. We only went to the store, but did not feel welcome at all. We were follow by the cashier. They have cameras everywhere and they also follow you. The lay out was a bit confusing, the vegetables were located in the back of the store , there were no prices on them. You had to be asking. There was line dancing that day the reason we went in which it started at 4pm that day, we got there around 3pm to venture the Ranch, however, there was no guide to what we can do or what the ranch offers. They have soaps, honey, olive oils, bath booms, scented oils, Tote bags and small trinkets. We got honey I thought it was farm grown, but the lady said it came from Temecula or Tahachepi. There was no ambiance whatsoever, so we left. Maybe we got there too early I was a bit disappointed since I was so excited to explore the ranch!

Today we visited Bloom Ranch in Acton for their Jazz Brunch and Ranch Tour afterwards to celebrate our anniversary. What a wonderful time. Bloom Ranch is owned and operated by Dr. Bill and Debra Releford. It is the largest black owned ranch in LA County. It was such a pleasure to meet them. Everyone was so welcoming and provided such professional service. The food was delicious absolutely delicious and farm FRESH. Plus, jazz by Herbie K was just the icing on the cake. It was a beautiful day at awesome location. Can't wait to go back. Check these guys out and you will not regret it.

Such a great adventure. Celebrating a friends birthday and we rode up to see the produce, nature and got the chance to take a tour. All staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the product. The energy was so relaxing, happy and tasty! We were able to sample the vinaigrette, tangerines, trail mix, toffee, jams and butter. My favorite was the honey ginger and peach vinaigrette. The trail mix was addictive and the honey was so good. I bought broccoli, green tomato, peach and honey ginger vinaigrette, brown sugar scrub, sun dried tomato with garlic, honey in a jar, peach vanilla jam (taste just like peach cobbler) Can't wait to go back in the spring

Had an outstanding time here Sat. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed so many samples of the butters, granola, toffee, balsamic vinegars and olive oils, we had to buy some of each, as well as the driving tour which came with a goodie bag containing body butter, rosemary oil, and dry rub. Our driving tour guide Jordan was outstanding. We learned so much about appreciation for the land, the animals there, the fruits and vegetables grown without chemicals, etc. and the absolutely gorgeous views. Great place for a wedding. We'll be back for honey, peaches and collard greens!

If you're searching for a place that inspires pure awe and wonder, Bloom Ranch of Acton is exactly that. This breathtaking property is expansive, forward-thinking, and deeply grounding, the kind of sanctuary that reconnects you with the earth the moment you arrive. Bloom Ranch is thoughtfully developing a full mental, physical, and spiritual retreat, currently featuring, and continuing to expand on, offerings such as a peaceful hiking path, a serene meditation platform, riverside Airstream lodging, and so much more on the horizon. From the warm, personal welcome by the team to the abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs, every part of the experience feels thoughtfully curated. Whether you explore on foot or by vehicle, the private tour is a must. And if you're even thinking about trying their famous Sunday Brunch, reserve early...it books up fast for a reason. Trust me, you won't want to leave without taking home something special... and making plans to return again. A heartfelt thank you to Doc and the entire Bloom Ranch team for turning a highly anticipated visit into an unforgettable adventure. Absolutely worth my two-hour drive!

Excellent place to visit and admire all the goodness of God. Bloom Ranch are excellent Stuarts of God's land. The people are super friendly and the products are high quality, and the bathrooms are clean. The facilities are comfortable. All in all it was a great experience. Note: they do have driving tours for people with mobility issues.

I visited the farm for their first Sunday Jazz brunch and enjoyed myself. It was really hot , however the staff were so kind and accommodating and made sure guests were hydrated. My focus was the jazz brunch as it was too hot to tour. Brunch featured a saxophonist performing a range of covers. They had a full brunch spread. After the brunch was over , I went in the store and bought candles, soap and juice. I hope to return in the spring with more manageable weather.

I recently attended a brunch at Bloom Ranch in Acton, CA. Bloom Ranch is Los Angeles County's largest Black-owned ranch, led by Dr. Bill Releford group. Our group organizer asked everyone to arrive to the ranch by 9:30 a.m. My wife and I made the long drive from the Torrance, Ca area. Although the trip was lengthy, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival by the warm welcome and helpful staff assisting with parking, which made for a positive first impression. We arrived to Bloom Ranch arriving at 9:30 a.m., after a long drive from the Torrance area. Despite the chilly 41-degree weather, the staff made everyone comfortable by welcoming our group inside to warm up before seating us outdoors. With about 100 guests in attendance, and heat lamps provided, the setup was well organized and accommodating. Guests were dismissed by tables to enjoy a brunch that was fresh, hot, and delicious. From eggs, grits, and waffles to a made-to-order omelet station, every dish was prepared perfectly. The attentive food crew ensured coffee and juice were served promptly and professionally. Adding to the atmosphere, a live saxophonist provided enjoyable music during the meal. After brunch, guests were invited to explore the Bloom Ranch Store, which offered a wide variety of goods including fresh eggs, greens, honey, butter, pantry items, harvest boxes, candles, vinegar, and more. The ranch also offers driving and walking tours of the beautiful property--an experience you look forward to enjoying on your next visit.

What a jewel! The food was omg! Grits were unique in a good way! Everything was really really good! Farm to table. The service aligned with the kind staff. Ambiance was we're on a ranch having jazz brunch.

Absolutely enjoyed my time here!! I came with a group so we had a scheduled private tour of the farm in collaboration with Chef Camila Casañas who led a cooking class with produce straight from the farm. Kelly and Nick from Bloom Ranch welcomed us so warmly and showed us so much love and care! This is such a beautiful farm with rich culture and so cool to the the largest Black-owned farm in LA! I felt so lucky to be there to see the hollyhocks in bloom! They have become a new favorite flower. I cannot wait to be back and bring my loved ones here. I got a few things from the shop - their homemade sourdough bread which is sooooo good! and some fresh oranges.

    Specialty boxes perfect for Christmas!

What an AMAZING brunch experience! Cozy ranch setting with a touch of jazz to complete the vibe. The food was outstanding! The food tastes like your southern mama prepared it straight from her kitchen everything was delicious but my favorite was the cooked to order omelette with eggs fresh from the chicken coop! After brunch fresh vegetables, honey, eggs, and olive oil are available for purchase. I will definitely make a return trip for this unique brunch experience!

Ask the Community - Bloom Ranch Of Acton

I learned about you from a post on TikTok? I first I thought you have a restaurant but it looks like you have a brunch. I can't eat wheat and was wondering if there's a menu or something that I could look at.

That I do not know, however the brunch did have omelets.

Can guests spend the night or have rooms like a hotel?

No, it's more like a little shop with candles, soap, dried fruit and things. It's a store-- not a hotel. Hope that helps!

Is the brunch indoors or outdoors?

I did not know that they do brunch there, but they have a large covered outdoor space that I would assume is where they would do. It is outdoors, but it is also in the shade.

I really like that the store has such a wide variety of merchandise, treats, and food. They carry everything from local honey and candy to turkey burgers and more unusual meats like alligator, venison, elk, and frog legs if you're brave enough to try them. They also have a lot of nostalgic items that you may recognize from childhood, which makes it a bittersweet but fun place to walk through. It's definitely a great spot if you want to take a little trip down memory lane. I usually like to stop by to buy candy or order some garlic fries. There's so much to look at that you could easily spend over an hour browsing while waiting for your food. Charlie Brown Farms remains one of those unique places that is part store, part restaurant, and part roadside attraction. It's quirky, nostalgic, and fun to visit.

First of all... it's truly in the middle of nowhere, which somehow makes it even better. You pull up not knowing what to expect, and then suddenly it's everything. They have all the road trip essentials and then some -- homemade fudge, jams, salsa, fresh honey, and an impressive selection of jerky (alligator, elk, ostrich... you name it). There's also endless candy, nostalgic sodas, funnel cake, and Dole soft serve in just about every flavor you could want. I came here with family on a weekend, and due to the large crop bloom, there was a BOGO deal going on this year where if you buy 1 bucket, you get another bucket free! It 's always extremely hot whenever we come here as it would be usually in the summer months. I suggest being prepared because you walk up a small incline in between rows of cherry trees, so being hydrated is necessary. Parking and entrance is free, instructions are given by staff and they lead you to where to go to begin picking. General rules include no eating the cherries inside, no yanking cherries off of branches (leaving stems behind help them grow again), and for the BOGO deal, you must fill up an entire bucket. Now, it can be pricey because it's currently at $6.50 a lb (.50 cents increase compared to pre-covid) and I think a bucket can contain at LEAST 10-12 lbs. So you need to shell out at least $65 in order to do the BOGO deal for example. A staff actually said that a bucket might cost about $85 each when I asked. We didn't do the deal because that would be too much for our small family, so I think this is optimal for large groups! We ended up paying $48 for our bucket and we went our ways. Good for a quick hour. Too long and you may overheat from the heat! - bring own water, bottles sold onsite are $2 each - local honey is also sold - 2 lbs minimum for adult to purchase - overall fun and unique experience! - always double check dates and times, sometimes they close at 1/2pm!
