They also have everything you would expect in a grocery store, and then a big supplement section, as well as a nice like deli and pre-made section. Pilgrims is really great. The staff here is really friendly. The only complaint that I have, is that the parking lot is small, crowded, and difficult to navigate. But if you're looking for a specialty food, or an organic food, or just a fancy version of something you would normally get, this is probably your best bet in the Coeur d'Alene area.

Well, WinCo falls into that category for me. It might the most poorly laid out grocery store I know. Another thing I don't like is that they only accept cash or debit cards. Annoying you can't pay with a credit card. Normally this would be a 2-3 star review, so why four stars? Well, first it's super inexpensive. They have great prices here. Look, grocery stores are poorly laid out, this Safeway is poorly laid out. The parking lot is a shared parking lot, it's not good. But the biggest reason that this location (and all other Safeways) gets a poor review is how expensive it is. There are so many other less expensive options for groceries within a 5-minute drive of this location. Other than strict convenience, why would anybody go to this grocery store? It's so expensive! The only thing that saves this from being a one-star review is that everybody who works here seems to be super friendly and helpful.

I waited all day just to have your delivery person cancel my order at 3PM! And then on top of that, you have the nerve to charge me a cancellation fee of $15 when I never requested to cancel my order. Your Instacart service is terrible. And I will give your company bad reviews whenever I can. I have no complaint with my local Super One store and have been shopping there in person since 1990, but you need to ditch this terrible delivery service company.

And the quality of their produce, and butcher sections is very nice. They also have a really considerable "natural" foods section. Which is more reasonably priced compared to other health food markets in the area. They have a considerable bakery section with plenty of in-house baked goods which are a treat. But the thing that has the most hype? Their deli counter. And it's pretty great. They have a wife variety of foods to choose from, including sushi, and it's all very reasonably priced. This has taken its place alongside Costco as one of our favorite "quick" lunches for the whole group. We stop I'm even if we aren't shopping. Love this place. Grocery stores are the worst, but this is the best of them.

"Do You Like Bad Smells?"…read more Do you like horror movies, or movies that never let you feel comfort throughout the entire story line? Do you want to experience this while shopping for groceries? Well..you're looking at the most perfect grocery store for this. As soon as you walk in, you'll be hit with a blast of air that has been circulating since the mid 70's, and you'll immediately feel threatened. Once you feel like you were just hit in the back of the head by a blunt object, you instantly need something to support yourself, so you go for a cart. Don't worry, you're just in a really odd grocery store. Sometimes there is music playing; sometimes there's not. And when music is playing, it sounds like it's coming from some hi-tech 30 year old stereo behind the butcher's corner (which you will be forever terrified to even walk by). The smells come from all sides of you, primarily the floor. The floor has quite a "pungent" smell seething from it up into your feet, then into your soul's nose. As you walk through this odd horror store, you will notice that there will be foods you never knew were still around; you will feel like you are in the early part of the 90's with all of the various Squeeze Its, Hawaiian Punches, and the Surge cans. Their produce looks like all the fake plastic toy food that you played with as a child came to life and is now available for purchase for your body. Once you made your rounds quite cautiously, you will later decide to not bbq because "that meat looked severely grey." But, they have a descent candy selection! If you even get anything, and somehow made it to level 10 in the horror grocery store, good job! But..there is still one more level....you have to checkout. You'll immediately not know what to do, as there is no place to put your horror store items besides a little shelf that looks like it has seen way better days. You won't entirely know if the cash clerks are just people from the outside that came inside to pretend to be a cash clerk, or if they really work there. If you want to have a real experience: go when the sun goes down; this place will make heroes cower. All in all this place is a must stop if you're not from here. Once you get out, you'll question if you are an idiot, or you are extremely talented at getting away from grocery store murder.
