Second, got a regular pedicure and the staff immediately got to working on my feet. Very few pleasantries, didn't ask to check on the water temperature. Third, after my polish and top coat was applied (which the top coat was gunky and clumping with my polish - meaning it wasn't fully dried before the top coat was put on!), they escorted me out of my chair and told me to sit in a corner with a fan for my feet. Likely, they needed the chair for another appointment. But they just left me sitting there, I didn't know when I was supposed to leave. Absolutely horrible nail experience. I would not come back.

After the service, we were charged $200 in cash -- no explanation, no receipt, nothing. When I called to question it, the staff literally changed the price over the phone mid-conversation. Complete bait-and-switch tactics. They refused to give a receipt, clearly trying to avoid taxes and credit card fees, and took advantage of two young women assuming we wouldn't fight back. Unprofessional, shady, and totally unethical. I've already reported them to Ontario's consumer protection authorities and the Better Business Bureau. I highly recommend others do the same. I went to this establishment for the first time with my mom and got a regular mani-pedi. The lady who did my moms nails took twice as long, while the one who did mine hardly put in the effort to do a good. In fact when she was putting on the nail polish she realized the polish was old/dry and not going on smoothly, so she mixed a nail polish thinner to restore the consistency, but I still noticed the lack of smoothness on my nails and when I brought it to her attention she told me not to worry and that "the topcoat will fix it". While, the nail polish was not fully dry and still shiny I didn't notice the state of the nails until later that evening, only then I realized how bad the quality of the nail polish was. The top coat she used left bumps/bubbles on all my nails (hands and feet). It was the worst mani-pedi Ive ever gotten. I called/texted them to address this issue (the pictures attached here were also sent to them directly) and the only thing they would say is that "we dont guarantee for regular polish". They refused to re-do them or reimburse me despite the fact that they are clearly responsible for the outcome when applying old dried out polish. I would highly suggest to anyone considering this place to NOT GO! There are far better nail salons who have proper customer service and have a bit of business integrity.

Now I don't work here but it only takes a couple minutes to clean up after each customer and there should be no reason why it's so dirty. There are no mats on the floor or slippers/flip flops to change into to walk on after a pedicure and the floor is filthy from wet books and shoes tracking in debris from outside. Shame because the place is great otherwise. The lady that has done my manicures is just fantastic and I've had a pedicure here last week and she did an awesome job. I just can't get past their housekeeping. As a contractor, she has no responsibility towards you as a client. You do NOT get a consultation from her because she does not speak or understand English well, or she pretends not to understand you. It took me over 2 years to get up enough courage to get my eyebrows done. I was shown pictures of Azita's work, but now I have to wonder if those pictures were pirated from other sites which perform microblading. I told her specifically what I wanted for my eyebrows, she snapped back that it was what she would be doing. She proceeded to draw an outline of the shape for my eyebrows. My husband told her that they were uneven. So much for her being a make-up artist. She visibly showed her irritation and proceeded to rub at the outline to fix the shape. Eventually, the outline looked okay and she proceeded to cut my brows. Please understand that someone is cutting into your skin with a blade and it hurts. Your brow areas are red and swollen, so it is difficult right after the procedure to determine how well the job was. As a fair and reasonable person, I waited till the recovery period was over before returning to the spa with my complaint. Please see the picture of my eyebrows. It is clear that Azita did not keep within the outline that she had drawn. My right brow is lower than the left, the left brow has an peaked arch while the right brow has an almost flat curve, both brows are thick and patchy. I get strange stares, and friends and family have asked me what happened. I went to other salons to see if they could fix my eyebrows, and all of them told me that I have to wait till they fade before they will touch them. Dory tried to force me to do a second session with Azita to fix her botched work. But seriously ! Would you want someone who has given you uneven, lopsided caterpillars to have another go at messing up your face ! My husband went with me in the morning to ask for a refund. We got some yarn from Atty about how their debit machine cannot process refunds. She said we would have to return at 5 PM when her daughter Dory will be there to process our refund. I specifically asked her to confirm that she will be refunding the full $1,072.09 that was charged to my credit card. Atty responded 'Yes', but she needs Dory to process the refund. We returned promptly at 5 PM to be told by Dory that she will not give us a refund for the microblading because she had to pay Azita, and Azita will not agree to the refund. So, you decide. Do you want to take a chance with this spa and Azita? It will cost you your looks and your money ! UPDATE to address Dory's Response: Dory, you clearly have no shame or dignity. But that was so obvious last night when you ranted at, threatened, and bullied me for one-hour-and-a-half. Asking if we had been lied to when you overturned your mother's agreement to give us a full refund is not profanity. She tried her best to make me feel relax by telling me that it'll be quick but oh boy, it was painful! I couldn't relax because it was my first time (I was anxious) and it was painful right after she yanked the upper portion of my bush. It was mostly painful because I have so many hairs down there. She didn't trim it & I didn't trim it before meeting her. She didn't ask me to check if she did well or not after my brazillian & full legs. She just told me to pay after I'm done changing. There are still some hairs left. She did wore 1 blue glove (right hand) during the brazillian wax but she didn't wash her hands before the procedure. I paid $85.00 incuding the $10.00 tip. I thanked her for the wax deal. She's a nice lady with 25 years of experience but for me her brazillian techniques are painful and the wax is too hot for my skin threshold.
