I spent a long time reading her reviews as she appeared to be the best OBGYN near me. The "website link" didn't work. It was not until I put the address in GMaps that I discovered she is now a Kaiser doctor. I'd have saved a lot of wasted time had I seen from the start that she is unavailable to me. I am posting this to let others know, she works for Kaiser now, and there is no indication that she has a private practice outside of Kaiser. If I were a Kaiser patient, I would try to see her.

She's handled all of my medical issues well and always asks about what I would like to do when presenting all options for treatment. A few things to note for anyone considering Lilia (Dr. Lizano) as their OB: -She ONLY ACCEPTS CREDIT/DEBIT CARD WHEN IT COMES TO COPAY. -She has a dry sense of humor and doesn't smile/laugh much. This may make you feel awkward. I, too, have a pretty dry sense of humor, though so we get along well. -She is not a "scent sensitive" office. You can wear perfume, lotions, etc. If you are looking for a scent sensitive office (as I know some are) there is one in Lafayette, CA. -She cares about your wellbeing but doesn't always convey that well. You can't expect her to fawn over you and all that. She's not super emotional but she is very committed to getting a diagnosis/figuring out how to help your baby box. She will accept your input when it comes to treatment. She asks you questions about your health, she notices changes in your body(such as rapid weight gain/loss), she points out any changes she notices. If you're having an issue that she cant observe, mention it to her at the start of the appointment or when she asks if there's anything you want to let her know of. Otherwise, mention it to the receptionist when scheduling the appointment (as it will be put into the appointment notes). Be very descriptive. If you're not detailed enough, she may not be able to help you. -This office accepts most insurance types (I've changed insurances twice since being with Dr. Lizano and haven't had any issues) but do call and ask to make sure your insurance will be accepted. An OB counts as a specialist and the copay will be as such. Make sure you have enough for your copay in your bank account as cash is not accepted.

Dr. Davenport is the best!…read more I appreciate that Dr. Davenport's medical practice involves actually looking for the root cause of my fertility issues instead of just sending us to do expensive treatments. She focuses on Natural Family Planning, which I really want for my family. I conceived naturally 11 months after meeting her. I learned about the underlying conditions that prevented me from conceiving at first. She answered my questions very fast and even in middle of the night! She gave me recommendations for where to get more affordable medicines and laboratories that were better with my insurance. This helped because I had to do monthly lab visits / blood work up to see if my body responded to the medications/supplements which eventually helped me be at the optimal conception state. She may be disorganized sometimes but she is very thorough and highly knowledgeable. She didn't push anything to us and even gave us reading materials that we can add to our considerations. Her humble clinic is pretty far from where we live but it's worth it. She also does virtual meetings.

For 6 years I saw her and had no problems as I was not using birth control (I am sterilized by choice-never wanted children). This was never an issue until 2015, and suddenly I was an abomination and going against God. I see doctors for medicine based on science, not religion, and for her to start berating me was out of the question unprofessional. I bit my tongue to keep from arguing. After the customary 2 hours wait to be seen as with many times when I came in before and was told she wasn't even there yet. I live 5 minutes away. I could have been working. I was tired of having questions and never being called back when I left messages. When I was called back I was told I needed to make an appointment to see the doctor for a simple YES or NO answer to a question. Ridiculous. This doctor has gone off the deep end and has no respect for patients at all. The final indignity - She doesn't chart so my online records were not available and when I wrote for requesting records sent to my new OB/GYN, they didn't do that either.

I needed to have a colpo done, which I hear is horrible but I've had it done once before today and I just don't share the same experience as my friends. I'm happy to say that remained the case today - no pain. My appointment was at 10am. Because I didn't want to go, I had pushed it out of my memory a month ago when the appointment was made. Either way, I'm happy I still had my appointment card to remind me of my appointment. It was laying on my floor and then I remembered 13 minutes til my appointment. I got there around 10:15. It can be confusing to find because this isn't a stand alone Planned Parenthood like I'm accustomed to seeing. It's inside of a larger building that's home to many other offices. PPH is located on the third floor. There's also two waiting rooms at this location. Everyone I interacted with here was pleasant. In particular, a woman named Corissa who took my blood pressure and was able to answer quite a few questions for me. For me, it's really about feeling comfortable, and I felt that here. The doctor and the nurse made me feel comfortable considering I had a colpo and a biopsy. COVID safety protocol was followed - After My appointment was over I dropped my phone on the floor and was offered gloves and sanitizing wipes immediately. Many people are worried about the virus, and for good reason, so I feel I have to add this in in regard to my experience. TIP: if you're low income and don't have any health insurance, I urge you to ask them about Family Pact. Many services, if not all, are covered for you under Family Pact.

She said it was because my circulation was cut off. I am certain the nurse hit my nerve with the needle. It has almost been a week since my visit and my arm and hand is still having a tingling sensation. I will not be back here again for this reason! I have had my blood drawn numerous times at other places like Kaiser and Sutter Health and this is the first time I ever had this experience.

I HAVE HAD TO UPDATE MY REVIEW FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT EDIT MY OTHER ONE SO HERE IS THE UPDATED…read moreONE BASED ON MORE INTIMIDATION Sutter Health, through Alice Cannan, N.P. (RN License No. 497575) and Sutter team , failed me in a way that should concern anyone who expects patients to be heard and treated with basic care and accountability. I presented with severe, persistent pelvic pain, returned repeatedly for help, and was given round after round of unnecessary antibiotics despite no confirmed infection. The ultrasound showed a thickened endometrial lining that was not called out as it should have been, and the delay in diagnosis caused real harm to my body and prolonged suffering. All of this is documented in the medical record, expert declarations, and the court filings in Alameda County. During the relevant time period, Nurse Alice Cannan was on disciplinary probation with the California Board of Registered Nursing, and that information is publicly available. If I went back six times, that should have been a sign that something was seriously wrong and that someone should have paid attention. I am only updating this because I have once again been threatened by Alice Cannan's lawyer, Denise Billups-Slone, who has gone so far as to contact Yelp's legal team. Yelp legal contacted me and told me I was within guidelines, so I am not being silenced by intimidation. This kind of response is exactly the problem: patients with honest, documented complaints are not heard, are not apologized to, and are instead threatened, buried, and pressured into silence. I am happy to discuss my experience with anyone. Please make your own decision, but I believe patients deserve transparency and accountability, not legal bullying when they speak the truth about negligent care. One would think that if a patient returns six times, someone would actually pay attention. Instead, I got repeated antibiotics, repeated delays, and repeated threats. I will continue to speak honestly about my experience.

I unfortunately had a serious complication where my placenta ruptured, and in that critical moment, Dr. You made the quick and life-saving decision to perform an emergency C-section on me. I can't even imagine the outcome if it weren't for her fast thinking and incredible professionalism. She got my daughter and me through that moment safely and I will forever be thankful. Even after the delivery, when my daughter sadly had to stay in the NICU for two weeks, Yu continuously checked in on us and offered her emotional support. As a first time mom, I was so naive but she guided me through every step with such kindness and patience. She didn't just care for me physically, but emotionally as well. This was highly inconvenient and inflexible, but I needed to go in for a semi-urgent health concern so agreed to it on the basis that I'll have to be a little late bc of work meetings. I arrived 14-15 min late, and incredulously, Dr Pahlavan refused to see me and told me, yet again, to reschedule with her office. Wow. It's great that she respects her own schedule, but perhaps a little consideration to the schedules of her patients would be appreciated. At best, I can say that she's not a trauma-informed provider and seems to be a stereotypical surgeon with zero bedside manner and an ego the size of Canada. At worst, it seems like she may not actually care about her patients at all beyond seeing them as potential stats with which to bolster her career and her own self-image. My experience with her was truly loathsome and I don't wish one like it on any other patient. It took five more years of excruciating pain and going to another KP district, out of her sphere of influence, to get the care that I'd needed for 20 years at that point. To that surgeon, it was perfectly obvious that I needed surgical intervention. All was explained by the crap she later hauled out of me. It took a surgeon willing to be curious, to listen, and to believe what she was hearing. Eve Zaritsky did not have any of those in her at that consult nor in the communication that followed; she was nothing short of a cold, abrupt, impatient, gas-lighting troll. Far from being a healer, she did damage to me that day and later refused to take any responsibility for her words and actions. Suffice it to say, I'm not a fan.
