When looking for dermatologists within my network and area, Beaird Dermatology came up as a…read morerecommended option. Their office is located in a multi story building in Hoffman Estates by the I-90 expressway. Their office seems newer with concrete floors/white walls being minimal and modern. It was easy to get an appt and I didn't have to wait too long as a first time patient. My first visit was a general visit to check for concerning blemishes and discuss some long-standing skin concerns. I was prescribed three different creams for three different areas as well as recommended an over the counter shampoo. I tried products as recommended and didn't see results. I recently reached out (3 months later) to follow up that items weren't working and was told I'd have to come back in because I didn't follow up. It was news to me as I was never told to follow up on my terms; I expect my doctor to reach out to me. Either way, I scheduled another appt which was another copay. I was recommended two new creams as well as a pill prescription. It's been a week and no pharmacy has reached out to me saying I have a prescription to fill and the pill left me with side effects within days so I stopped taking. I followed up with the office, they asked if I could come back in which would be ANOTHER copay. I sadly am deciding to cut my loses with working with their practice. I refuse to pay another copay three business days after visiting because they didn't ask the right questions when I was last in. I felt the PA I had was kind but other staff was not and only talked in medical terms which left me confused and hard to follow conversation/questions. My PA seemed like he did care but I am left feeling like they want my money more than finding a solution to help me.

While Dr. Beaird is a good physician, it takes 9+ months to get in for a skin check with her, she…read moreand her staff will not allow you to have more than one skin condition addressed per appointment and you cannot get through her AI system to an actual human for scheduling purposes. I recently switched to a different dermatology practice not because of Dr. Beaird herself but because of how her office and practice is run. Her administrative staff do not return messages, they do not follow up with necessary insurance preapprovals, they cancel appointments regularly and then make you reschedule through text messaging or AI, they are unfriendly and they fail to process basic medical records requests. I've never encountered a medical practice that was so poorly managed.

I felt pressured, misled, and even shoved toward a mirror, told to stand a certain way so I couldn't see poor surgical results. When I spoke up, I was told to ignore his behavior. I later found my records had been altered and learned that staff routinely lie for him. I even have text messages that support my claims. In addition, my Botox treatments here never lasted -- I was told it was because of my age, but since switching to a new injector, they now last twice as long. I also noticed that negative reviews about this practice disappear, while patients are solicited to post positive ones in exchange for free treatments. This left me feeling unsafe, disrespected, and deceived. I will be filing a complaint with the state board.

I went to get a consultation for rhinoplasty. When I was speaking to Dr. Lambruschi about what I…read morewas looking to get done he said that he can't turned a "Chevy" into a "lambhorgini" which was in reference to myself. Basically made me feel bad about myself. I feel like if anyone goes to seek any type of procedure, the last thing you need is for a doctor to make fun of the way you look. Just figured it was a bit unprofessional & unnecessary for him to have said that.

Every other person I know who had Dr. Lambruschi perform surgery on them has nothing but great things to say about him and their results. In considering the previous review, take a look at that user's reviewing history - you will notice that every single review she has written was terrible and assigned the lowest rating. Bottom line: Dr. Lambruschi was fantastic - both in bedside manner and in producing results.

I had consulted with a couple other surgeons before making my decision. At the end of the day, it…read morewas a very easy decision. Dr. Burke's staff made me feel like a friend, her surgical center was akin to a luxurious resort spa, and her care and craft are second to NONE. My results are gorgeous, and when I get compliments I immediately give credit to Dr. Burke. So thankful to her, and her staff!

I chose Dr. Burke for my breast augmentation, lift, mesh placement and liposuction, spending over…read more$22,000 and driving two hours each way because I specifically wanted her as my surgeon. As a young mom, spending that amount on myself was a huge decision, and I put a tremendous amount of trust in this practice. Unfortunately, I deeply regret that decision based on how I've felt treated afterward. Only five months after surgery, I asked about exchanging my implants for a larger size. I was initially quoted $10,500, later reduced to $5,500 under local anesthesia, still including another $1,750 surgeon's fee. I offered $3,000 and then $3,750, hoping there would be some consideration for a patient who had just spent over $22,000. Both were declined and I was told $5,500 was firm. My follow-up appointments frequently felt rushed as well. Driving four hours round trip only to feel like there was barely time to discuss my concerns made the entire experience feel increasingly transactional. I expected the level of care and attention after surgery to match what I experienced while deciding to spend $22,000 with the practice. It did not. The billing process was equally frustrating. I had to specifically request an itemized receipt, and the liposuction performed during my surgery wasn't even identified on it. I only learned it was included in the facility fee after questioning why it was missing. I never expected another surgery for free. I expected transparency, reasonable consideration and to feel valued after making such a significant investment. Instead, I've been left feeling that my value as a patient dramatically changed once my original surgery was paid for. I genuinely wanted to remain Dr. Burke's patient. Instead, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. For over $22,000, countless hours of travel and the amount of trust I placed in this practice, I expected significantly better. Knowing what I know now, I would not choose this practice again--and I wish I had understood before paying how different my experience would feel afterward.
