Unfortunately, I mistakenly arrived at 10:00 a.m. instead of my scheduled 11:00 a.m. appointment. When I checked in, the receptionist informed me that I was an hour early. I apologized for the mix-up and said, "Let's just cancel it. I'll have to reschedule another time," because I couldn't wait an hour. What surprised me was that no one mentioned there would be a cancellation or no-show fee. They simply let me leave. About an hour later, I received a phone call telling me I owed a $50 no-show fee. I was shocked because I did show up--I was simply there at the wrong time due to an honest mistake. Had someone reminded me at the front desk that leaving would result in a $50 charge, I would have stayed for my appointment or made a different decision. Instead, they said nothing and then charged me afterward. I spoke with the manager/owner, hoping they would show some understanding given the circumstances, especially since this was a free consultation and I had physically come to the office. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to work with me or make an exception. The interaction left me feeling that collecting the $50 fee was more important than earning a potential long-term client. Because of how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this business. In my experience, they seemed more concerned about collecting a $50 fee than building a relationship with someone who could have become a loyal client for future aesthetic treatments. Everyone makes an honest scheduling mistake from time to time, and I believe customer service is measured by how a business responds in those moments. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed.

On 8/24/2020 I was told that my Vitamin D was low along with a few other minor vitamin deficiencies. I was told that I would be put on a schedule to come to the office and have these vitamins administered by IV. I told Carla Brook that I was not going to be administering anything by IV and the costs quoted was outrageous. I requested a copy of my labs to be posted to my portal. Nearly three years later, they have never provided me with the lab results that I paid for and simply ignore my requests. I've now requested that my information in their custody and on their portal be destroyed and my account closed. No answer. I can't speak for the glowing reviews this practice gets because this is the worst I have ever experienced.

So, Anxhelina has that flawless porcelain skin that we all strive for and she does not gatekeep. She calls it like she sees it and will give you all the tips on how to get results. We started with IPL. My first IPLs hurt like hell but were high effective. Went back for follow up IPL and disaster struck. I ended up with stripes. Not a good look. It was horrifying, but between Anxhelina and Dr. George, they strategized a plan and gradually fixed the problem. No charge to me. After that experience, I mentioned that I really wanted to shift over to the Moxi laser, which is different than IPL, but I couldn't find a local practitioner who offered it. A month or so later -- boom! They had it. It is amazing, by the way. Worth every penny. It was around this time that I realized I had found my people. And that's my general feeling about AW Medspa. These are my people. They get me. They understand what I'm trying to accomplish, and they are here for it. Of course there are always times when I don't have the cash flow for something, but I never get any pressure or condemnation from them. They have a tiered membership program that offers different discounts which is really helpful if you're looking for multiple procedures, or are in that place where you're getting serious about combatting sun damage and wrinkles. I'm typically visiting the office once every 4-6 weeks getting a facial or Moxi, and all told, I'm sure my face looks so much better than it would have had I not gone for that first lip flip. I've been with them thru 3 locations (this new one is lovely) and these are the people I trust with my face. They're honest and they know their stuff. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.
