Especially one with its own set of problems. I make it to the store every other month. Always clean. Well stocked. I am sent a ton of promotional emails weekly. So many I normally take a screen shot of the coupons or offers to keep them handy. And discard the clutter of emails. Yesterday I was at the counter checking out and gave my wife's phone number to keep the points going as I am trained to do. When I presented coupon below (which I have done many times before) the cashier (who I also believe was the manager) asked where I got it. I said it was emailed to me. She asked if I had the email. I checked and it would have been from a few days ago so I didn't have THAT ONE. I did have many others. I showed her. She said but you don't have the one with the 30% off coupon. I need to see that it came from our store. I said they all come from your store. You are the only one we go to. She said she can try to look up another email to confirm. But it was my email I was showing her with emails FROM Pet Supplies Plus. Long story short, she wasn't going to give me the offer. I had stood there for almost 5 minutes dealing with this. I am 57 years old and not out to "rip off her store". She saw the other emails in my inbox but it mattered not, so I said forget it. I paid for it and left. Seething. Majorly because she made me feel foolish. Made me feel like I had to prove myself. For 30%. It wasn't cool. I will not go back in again. They have lost my business as I don't to engage with that employee ever again.
