On December 13, I took my dogs to the Tractor Supply VetPet clinic and want to start by saying the veterinary staff from PetVet provided excellent care. I was very pleased with the service my animals and I received during the clinic itself. Unfortunately, my experience immediately afterward was disappointing and unnecessary. While in the store, my dog had an accident. I was prepared, cleaned it up immediately, and then walked around the store and outside looking for a trash can to properly dispose of the bag. There were none available. I politely approached the two employees working the front counter and asked if there was a trash can I could use. One employee explained that the only trash can was behind the counter. Out of consideration for the employees, I hesitated to place a waste bag there. At that point, the blonde other employee responded with visible disgust and told me to take the bag to the men's restroom. Being met with a nasty look and an immature, dismissive response was unprofessional and left a sour impression. Considering Tractor Supply was hosting a pet clinic that day, it is completely reasonable to expect that accidents may occur and that proper waste disposal options would be available. Even more importantly, customers who responsibly handle their pets should not be made to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. This situation could have been handled with basic professionalism and courtesy. Instead, the behavior at the front counter overshadowed what should have been a positive experience. read more

I bought a five-thousand-dollar Toro Zero Turn mower from them. At the time of sale, the clerk offered me a four-hundred-dollar extended warranty. My wife insisted that I buy it, so I did. A few months later, the mower broke down. I called Tractor Supply and they said for me to call the company that does the warranty. I called them and left a message because they don't have a live person to speak with. They never returned my call, so I called back and left another message. Again, they did not return my call. I had to hire an outside mechanic to come and fix my mower. About six weeks later, the warranty company called and said they were ready to come and get my mower. I told them they should have done that six weeks ago and that I had already paid to have a third party do the repairs. Apparently, I wasted four hundred dollars for a warranty no one wants to honor. read more

If you are a self serve customer you should be OK because the staff (most of them) know so very little. A customer ahead of us Sunday came for range cubes. He drove 40 miles after checking online. He wasn't computer savvy however. He asked for a rain check because they were out- the cashier didn't know what that was and said she was too busy to call the manager to find out. The old gentleman told her again he saw them online and it said available for pickup today and he drove 40 miles. She told him 'it's not my fault'. She was polite but what she said was lousy customer service. read more

Wish I could give zero stars because this store is not worth even one. Bought a gun safe on Wednesday, paid for it and even helped the kid put a sold sign on it. Went to pick it up on Thursday and they had sold it to someone else. The girl that gave me the great news promised to find one for me and promised to call and let me know something asap. Well Saturday came around and no call from them. Went back and got a refund - so that's three trips over there and no one cares at all. Worst customer service that I have ever seen. read more

This is a more messy Tractor Supply than some of the others I've shopped, but the people are nice and they have just about everything you might need for small scale farming and pet wrangling. read more

I needed a new air compressor and found one I liked online at TS. The website showed it was in stock at this location. I called to see if they would verify that and hold it for me, and was told by the manager to just buy it online and they would pull and hold it for me. I then drove over an hour to the store to pick it up. The service was prompt and courteous. I get it home and run the electricity, drill holes in concrete, and installed the compressor. Then I notice that it is missing both the Pressure Gauge and the Pressure Release Valve. I called them the next day, got transferred to Dave. Dave apologized, took my info and said the manager would call me that afternoon or the next day. No call...... So I called again, asked for the manager, and was told I was talking to the assistant manager. I told my story, and she said she never saw anything on it. She then said the only thing she could do was to order a new compressor for me. I would then have to uninstall this one, load it up, drive over an hour to take it back, pick up the new one, drive back, and install the new one. OH, and it would be 2 weeks before they could get a new one in. No attempt to see if the original pieces were in the service or warehouse area, no offer to contact distribution, or the manufacturer to have replacements sent out. Just a 2 week delay for a compressor I need today, plus major inconvenience for me to correct their mistake. I will not be going to this location ever again, and will warn all my friends. read more

Horrible place! I came to look for chicks to start up on farming. The chicks looked horribly sick! One was even dead and looked like it had been there for a day or two. I asked someone at the counter behind them if I could look at the chicks up close to see if I can get a good look on there health to take home. The manager rudely rejected my request and said I can see them behind the fence that are far from the eye can see because they have a fence that's high up. He sarcastically said that it was against their "policy" to even touch them. I mostly wanted to see them up close since there is a DEAD chick on the bottom of the tin containers their in. Disappointed and will not be going there ever again for farming needs and appliances! read more

Great prices on dog food and pet supplies. Love this store. As a person from bigger cities, a tractor supply store was a little intimidating to go into, as I knew very little about the majority of their products and needed to figure it out pretty quickly for my new home. Got a generator at a competitive price and all kinds of how-to books, then filled up a cart with essentials I have no regrets about purchasing because they are reputable brands at good prices. Both times I've been here I've had very knowledgeable help from 2 female employees, I wish I remembered their names to give them a shout-out. This store has been a big help. Thank you. read more

I would recommend using another location other than this one. I've had better luck with sales/service, not very knowledgeable on their inventory etc. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! Came to pick up a layaway my daughter had, and the asst manager Tanya rudely told me that it had been cancelled. No explanation why and said if we wanted the items then we should go walk the store and look for them. She couldn't tell us why it was cancelled and told us we couldn't get a refund because the layaway was closed out wrong and she didn't know how to refund the money to come back later. My daughter returned and Tanya told her that she was the only manager and didn't have the time to deal with it! So because of Tanya's incompetence, we can't get credit for something TSC screwed up. I have never dealt with anyone so rude and incompetent! UPDATE, we returned AGAIN and spoke to the manager Wayne, he told us he couldn't deal with it because he had customers, I said excuse me, aren't we customers? He walked to the register to ring out one of the customers there was already a cashier ringing up a customer and there were only a total of two customers! read more
