I stopped in here on a Monday morning looking for a part for a plow.
This is a typical Tractor Supply. For anyone who has shopped there, this is right on par with all the rest. They carry all the same types of inventory and it's the same layout as all the rest.
Customer service here is decent. I couldn't find the part I was looking for and I didn't see one single employee walking around looking to help customers, which is the one downfall that generally frustrates me with stores. Instead, I went looking for an employee. The customer service booth, located dead smack in the middle of the store, was empty. I stood waiting for a few minutes and eventually two employees came walking back to the booth.
The employee was very knowledgeable about the part I was looking for and was clearly aware of the store's inventory. He walked me right to the exact shelf were the parts were located. From there, he helped me try to match up the size that I needed.
Unfortunately, Tractor Supply did not have the standard part that I was looking for. The employee was nice enough to refer me to Brett's True Value next door, explaining that they often have a lot of parts that Tractor Supply doesn't have, and vice versa. I always appreciate the honesty when an employee refers me to their competitor if they don't have what I need.
Being a newer Tractor Supply, the building is still brand new and the store is very clean. The lawns and grounds outside are also very well maintained.
The store generally isn't too busy. There's a light, steady flow throughout the day. There are always some vehicles there, but it's never really crowded nor is it completely empty. read more
