Very good location near a lot of big stores and fast food chains makes it accessible and easy to get in and get out!

Once again, I think Yelp has lost my review. I'm sure I reviewed this before. Oh, well. I still…read moredon't like this Walmart. I'm not a fan of Walmart in general. Some are better than others, and once in awhile it is the most convenient place to go. But I try to avoid it. This time, I ordered a desk online and figured the Marysville store was right on my way to work and all I had to do was run in, get the desk, and run out. I had forgotten about Walmart customers, and employees. From the people meandering aimlessly down the parking lot rows, talking and shouting, to the ones inside who didn't know how to drive shopping carts, to the surly employee who eventually showed up to help with my desk, I was annoyed the whole time I was there. I got it and skedaddled. No one bothered to check my receipt as I left with a big box in my cart. I've been before, at various hours. Service varies, but is usually mediocre. Selection is huge and prices are generally good (though not much better than any other big box store; seriously, why is Walmart considered so cheap? In relation to the mom and pop stores they run out of business, maybe, but compared to similar big stores, I don't get it.) The parking lot of this one, and most, is crazy. Since Meijer opened across the street, I avoid this one as much as possible. I should have sent my order to the Tuttle one this time.

First of all why did Walmart not think to ask shoppers what they want and how to arrange the store,…read moresomething as simple as canned fruit , good luck finding a small can of pineapple , most recipes don't require a large can, further more not all fruit is located in the fruit isle most of it or the very few item they have are located in canned goods isle , baked beans not with the other beans, It is very miserable shopping experience not sure what they were trying to accomplish but they failed , very difficult to find an employee . It seems most things need to be ordered online, well if I'm going to do that I will shop at Amazon who has same day or next day delivery, I think they thought the remodel would make them more like a target.. wrong. Target , even though I don't shop there is more pleasing to shop at. I go to Walmart less and less . I used to be able find what I needed. Not now. Keep it up Walmart alienate your customers we will be fine shopping at Meijer and Amazon,

Moving from their location in an old mall on the other side of town, Big Lots is now in a much…read morenewer building just off the highway, where Dunham's Sports used to be. Big airy entrance, lots of windows in front. Lots of room inside, and while everything is set up, they clearly have plenty of room to put in more displays later. Furniture is the first thing you see, and I bypassed it, since I've found it to be generally overpriced. I wandered the rest of the aisles. Big Lots has turned into a pretty standard discount store. Seems like when Odd Lots first started, they had lots of weird, leftover stuff, and you never knew what you would find. Now, they have a pretty predictable variety, with the occasional oddball item thrown in. Prices are higher, too. Still at or below average, but you have to watch. Don't assume you're getting a great deal. Worth coming to before you go anywhere else, to check prices and snag some deals. I got some socks, some candy, etc. And something oddball: dried mulberries. Limited selection of clothes, huge selection of candy and other dry goods. Some cold stuff like milk and lunchmeat, so you could come in for a quick resupply. Toys, tools, household goods, holiday stuff, etc. Service was great, as you might expect on the first day. I lucked into the soft open; I asked if they had opened recently, and they said "yeah, three or four hours ago." Grand opening is August 31, so they might have specials then. Clean, big, bright, with relatively good deals, convenient- I'll be back, a lot, I'm sure.
