Apple was the only serious stop I made but for a quick drink at the Starbucks kiosk in the center hub, which apparently no longer exists. However, the Apple Store has been greatly expanded, even bigger now than my Apple Store at home which is fairly large compared to most. I regretted that I did not have time to browse it as none of my companions was interested in joining me and the goal the day we were here was to give our almost 10-year-old granddaughter some treats at the mall. She's not yet a tween but she loves the mall for a special outing. We had some snacks, there were plenty in the center, including Pinkberry and Auntie Anne's and several more too far away for me to check out. We also visited a few stores, Claire's and Bath and Body Works for her and Von Maur for me to see as I had never seen one before. It met our needs for a rainy day and not something I do often. Our local mall closest to home is outdoors, but a traditional enclosed mall is 20 minutes away. This was only 10 minutes or less from our hosts' home. This mall was very busy on a rainy September weekend, though there was plenty of outdoor parking available in the mall lot. I would like to note that this mall has very attractive and well maintained restrooms, not always the case with large malls.

Last trip in, my daughter even found a big dog puzzle that was way cheaper than going to Meijer. So it's worth a look here when it comes to your dog. They have cat things too. The one thing on my trips here I do always look at is the various coffees they have by the checkout. My family are huge coffee drinkers, and k cups/ground coffee can get very expensive. Especially with the inflation that has hit over the past few years. Not giving up coffee, so had to find a way to get it more affordable! There is usually a good selection so I come here to have a look when I'm running low before getting elsewhere. There is usually a lot of stronger coffees, but occasionally you can get something with flavors. Thank you Marshall's for having a selection of everything in your stores-including coffee! The store was very clean and organized today. That was nice to see also!

As long as you go in through the right entrance, you don't have to walk the whole mall, although we love the huge size and selection at Great Lakes! We used the map right by the door and found GameStop quickly. The mall felt welcoming and had a lot going on, so it's definitely a place you could spend more time if you wanted to. Even though we didn't need help from mall staff, we were greeted by a few people as we walked through, which was nice. It turned out to be a smooth and easy visit overall.

I also appreciated that they had Christmas Carolers from a local church group singing live here. The food court was not good. We had a family member get sick from the Japanese food place, so please be careful. The variety in the food court is also a range of different options, which was good. This indoor mall is now my fave here.

There are at least two, possibly three levels of items available. The main level had a lot of collectible items, dishes, silverware, books, comic books, etc. The basement had an entire library of books, clothes, tools and furniture. Even on the way to the bathroom and believe it or not in the bathroom there are paintings for sale. The employees are friendly and the prices rather cheap.
