I moved in my new home 4 blocks from this garden center in 1992 and have bought my Spring annuals for Easter, May and Summer flowers for planting in ground and patio pots. The prices vary from the other local farmers nearby, but I can say that Ray Wiegand's nursery Guarantees their selection of flowers, plants, trees, shrubs and all items sold. Their plants are grown healthy and colorful as well as the hanging baskets and already grown in pots. She was busy playing a game on Facebook and didn't feel like being bothered. The game was timed and she literally hold us to "hang on" while she finished her game. We found the straw we were looking for and the same cashier said she would help get it off the shelf. Again we had to wait for her to finish her game. The EZ straw was just what we were looking for, except about $6 more than other places. I guess that's the price you pay for something out of convenience (Tractor Supply was out of the way) Service could have been much better but then again store opens at 8am so its not like we arrived before they opened. We felt like an inconvenience.

There were several different rooms all stacked with gorgeous flowers, plants or vegetables to plant. I also noticed this place is spick and span clean. There were plenty of carts/baskets to roll through and put your flowers in. I ended up buying one potted flower, a hanging basket, a potted assortment for the porch and a bag of some basic garden soil.
