Today they had a variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, carrots, potatoes, different varieties of onions and of course corn, just to name a few. The fruit selections were plums, peaches and melons. They had 2 different sizes of mums for the fall and a few plants and flowers. I bought the most gorgeous elephant ear plant for only $5. I wish I would have grabbed a few- what was I thinking!? The lady who rang me up was pleasant, she wished me a good day, as I did to her. They also had a pretty selection of flower arrangements, would make for a good gift. Support your local farms and keep them in business! They work hard for you.

This well known family farm business can be found in the history books of Macomb! I have bought spring flowers here in May, then late July or August, hand grown fruit and vegetables. Today was bi-color corn $5 for a dozen. The young employee working today was pleasant to chat with. All the produce was arranged nice and very organized in cardboard containers with price signs well-written and Easy-to-Read. Many vegetables such as tomatoes, 4 different types of peppers, squash, white and red potatoes, onions, garlic, zucchini, beans to name a few or what I can remember based on my eyes. Plus I was in a hurry late in the afternoon out there with fast traffic flow. My main and only purchase was the farmers sweet corn. I'm always excited to countdown the days after July 4th for this place of business to open back up with their grown sweet corn and vegetables. I look forward to buy and support them because of their hard work, with efforts to keep their business "GROWING", so together their name will still sell strong!

November 30, 2022…read more Review #422 Updating My Review Of: 5-28-2017 Ray Wiegand's Nursery is a family owned business with new and old generations working since 1941! I moved in my new home 4 blocks from this garden center in 1992 and have bought my Spring annuals for Easter, May and Summer flowers for planting in ground and patio pots. The prices vary from the other local farmers nearby, but I can say that Ray Wiegand's nursery Guarantees their selection of flowers, plants, trees, shrubs and all items sold. Their plants are grown healthy and colorful as well as the hanging baskets and already grown in pots. The staff of family or friends who are working in many areas of the greenhouse or outside are always helpful and knowledgeable and ready to assist your questions about buying and planting plus offer guidance to problem plants that may be an issue with growing. The store also sells many statues, gardening supplies, outdoor furniture with monthly seasonal decorations for your home! I have been also very pleased with the quality and style made when purchasing in November a Memorial Christmas grave blanket for the cemetery. My Photos are attached of the many handmade Memorial items. Holiday shopping before Christmas is the busiest time to see and enjoy their colorful and sparkling display of lights, trees, wreaths, and much more! Hours: Monday - Saturday 9AM - 8PM Sunday - 10AM - 6PM Ray Wiegand's offers in-store pickup or delivery too. In back of their parking lot are different types and colors of Mulch. Thank YOU Ray Wiegand's Nursery for being such a wonderful local and well-known family business in Macomb for 81 years !!! After 30 years of shopping here, I'm still a Happy and Satisfied customer for My planting colorful flower displays from May to September!

They have a lot of employees that have been there for years and are very knowledgeable. I typically buy a lot of my garden vegetables, fruit trees, and berry bushes from Wiegand's and I think the price is fair for the quality of the plants. I highly recommend Wiegand's. Great people and a great business in Macomb County.

They had a wide selection of hanging baskets are varying price levels. I love how they have signage with helpful information such as the pricing for the baskets based on color of the tag or warning us not to plant outside too soon as frost is still an option. I was surprised how large this place was as when you see it off of 23 mile road it doesn't look that big. There were several different rooms all stacked with gorgeous flowers, plants or vegetables to plant. I also noticed this place is spick and span clean. There were plenty of carts/baskets to roll through and put your flowers in. I ended up buying one potted flower, a hanging basket, a potted assortment for the porch and a bag of some basic garden soil. My bill came to $100 (I bought the big combo flower arrangements) ; I was able to use a $10 off coupon bringing my total to an easy $90.00 I will be back.

Although I realized I brought the wrong coupon she was very rude to me. I would recommend not coming here due to the rude customer service that I dealt with. If I had more time, I would've left the flower, not purchased it.
