I shop at the Marysville meijer. I always use self check out because of prices not giving sale or clearance price. I take pics of prices so I have to show them they are not matching the shelf price. And coins back are also shorted on occasions. This should never be the norm and is why I will always use self check out, to stop them from stealing from me. Do better meijer management. read more

I hate that I live by this one. Forever out of things. Store looks 1/2 stocked always. Don't carry things all of the other meijers carries. I asked a worker if they could help me find something the website said they had. He told me the website lies and they don't carry it. I found it. Hidden behind the wrong product in it's spot. Most Meijer have something to like I worry about Angela being a team leader etc unfriendly And back stab backer. Not sure she is a go to person. Please pay attention to your bill when it comes to sale price items!!! Their registers and cashier do not know if it's on sale. If you notice an error; the cashier can't change it, you must go to Customer Service who has to call someone and challenges the price item; stating it is something else - when it's not. I took a picture of the item and sale sign, still denied it was the right item but reluctantly gave the sale price. (Cost saving of $6.63). Looking at the bill a little better we realized they didn't give us another sale item. We will go back tmrw; cost savings will be $16.16. Total due to us is $22.79. Some may say it's not much...but that's about an hours worth of work for free. Watch your bill customers! read more

I agree that you have to watch your prices as they ring them up. Some items today had a price in front of the item and did not ring the price I saw. Like Eddys ice cream said $5.00 for two, bought one was charged $3.50. Log cabin syrup was 2 for 7.00, bought one was charged 3.99. Not happy about that but I will watch closer. I've always heard of Meijer, but being not from the states, I never had the chance to go in and shop from there. I did on my last visit to the city, and I was actually impressed with the cleanness and the nice and organized setup! It reminded me of those custom high-end European grocery stores we have here in Toronto. Staff was very friendly and very helpful, groceries were fresh, looking good, tasting good! read more

Went there for the first time yesterday. It was so dirty. The floors looked like they have never been washed let alone buffed and shined. There were mosquitoes all around inside the store not just in the front but even way in the the back. The produce area had a ton of gnats!! I'm not very familiar with the area. However, it doesn't matter who lives in that area they deserve to shop in a really nice clean store. I will never go back unless I have to. read more

I was surprised at how many customers were shopping late at night. The store and parking lots are kept impeccably clean. Inside, the store is bright and well laid out. I happened to stop in when the night crew was stocking the shelves for the next day. Even with pallets of merchandise in the aisles, it was easy to navigate my way around. All of the self-check-out lanes were open, but there was only one attended lane available. It didn't matter too much because the cashier was doing a great job running the register. read more

This is a store that is not laid out well nor very easy to get around, and the employees are not friendly. Upon trying to return a item, the customer service staff told us she could not refund it because it did not come up on the scan as an item in that store. After a 5 minute exchange about this, she finally called a supervisor who fixed the problem. We were made to feel like we were trying to return something that we had not bought there and scam them. So it's Christmas Eve and my Shipt shopper was at the checkout when the store was closing. She went over to grab a package of rolls that I had forgot and when she got back, the entire basket and order was gone! The store would not allow her to complete checking out my order and told her she has to leave. I spend hundreds of dollars every week at this store but they just lost my business. I'm disabled and can't shop which is why I use Shipt. I'll be finding an alternative business with better customer service and I won't recommend this Meijer to anyone! read more

I love this store. It's as near as perfect as any store can get. The staff is always helpful and do their jobs well. They make the customer feel like the most important person in the store. Their produce section is the very best. Always well stocked and fresh with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. The deli section has a staff that is professional and quick. There is hardly ever a long line. For me, the wait time has never usually been more than 3 minutes. The store is absolutely clean!!! Quick attention is always paid to any mess on the floor. Meijer has good prices, with great sales. Along with the helpful staff and the very clean store gives Meijer a 5 star rating. read more

We always end up at Meijer late at night for something, whether its a new baby bottle for our daughter or snacks for movie night. They have great service, even at 2am, and they are always stocked. =) The gas station always has good customer service as well! (And slushies!) =) read more

Love this store but not enough lines open at busy times. Cashiers are great. Went to the meat counter on Friday and only one person at a busy time. Person waiting next to me said that there were more people when she got there and all of a sudden there was one person. About 11am on a Friday. Misty was so very friendly and professional. Another employee was writing things in a book and could have come over and cleared out the other six people in line. Finally did. I was in the line for 30 minutes. Customers come first. Misty deserves a raise or some other acknowledgement for her outstanding service to customers. Wonderful employee. Cool, calm and collective. read more

We were just at the Meijer in Marysville to buy cinder blocks and gardening supplies. When I first walked into the garden department, I asked a worker if they sold cinder blocks. He told me if they had any they would be in the right hand corner. We went over there and got eight and put them on a cart. We chose a few other items then got into a line that had five people in it. While our cashier was waiting on the second person, another cashier opened the line next to it and took people from the back of the line of people ( shopper #7l) and two who were not in line yet instead of going to the people that were already waiting. We finally get to the front of the line and the woman tells me that she doesn't have a SKU for the cinder blocks. We wait around for about 10 minutes before someone new comes up and tells us that don't sell cinder blocks. No apology from her for our wait or inconvenience. She acted like we were bothering her. If the first employee had told us that they did not sell cinder blocks, we would have gone somewhere else right away, read more

I absolutely HATE to grocery shop, but coming to this store makes it a little easier and more enjoyable. The store is clean, well organized and it has a great selection of items. The bakery always has tons of fresh items. There is a huge selection of wines. The toy section is a favorite of my boys. In addition to all of those things, this store boasts the only Starbucks store in town. I often see the managers there overseeing the day to day operations. This place is great. read more

I love this store! It's clean and neat. But I need to take a minute and let the world know how NICE and hardworking the cashiers are! They are always so nice and careful with my items. It's my birthday and me and some friends went here because we heard that a space heater was on sale and I really needed one. We only purchased said heater (Which was $10) and some dog treats. When we went to go leave, a employee stopped us and wouldn't let us leave until we showed our receipts for our 2 products. We went through self checkout and we didn't bother to grab the receipt. So we went to go get a receipt and it took almost a half hour of WASTED time on my birthday 2 days before Christmas to get this receipt for left than $15 worth of product.The employee who stopped us was an older lady with short white hair who was working at the "HOME" entrance. This was a horrible experience and it stressed all of us out especially since we didn't have much time to much of anything. read more
