It's fun to see all the different Salvation Army locations. This store was huge and clean. My guess is it is so huge because it used to be a Kroger's grocery store. I'm so happy it was converted to a Salvation Army vs, say a Halloween Store, lol! There was a huge selection of wares from art to clothes to appliances with wide isles to navigate. I push mom in her transporter chair so we appreciate the wide isles. The location is ideal, close to the 59 freeway with plenty of parking outside. I purchased a like new black cardigan sweater and a nice dressy tank top for when the warm weather returns. I also found a cool flower emblem that I added to one of my purses. Mom struck out and went home empty-handed. Everything was had for a mere $16.00 - how fun is that!

I am a thrift store shopper and I would rate this store as one of the best that I've ever been to. All clothes are organized by type, gender and size, as common to other thrift stores. However each size has a specific colored plastic "marker" on the shoulder to insure ease in keeping the clothes on the correct rack per size! An amazing idea! All the nick-nacks and general mdse is on metal shelves by color. That's where I found my "treasures"! I'll be going back! The staff was friendly and thanked us for our purchases.

I would have given 5 stars but I dinged one star for two reasons: the prices at all Salvation Army's has jumped AND they have removed the option to buy jewelry! I really should take away two stars for the removal of jewelry! They used to sell sunglasses, watches, jewelry and other unique pieces behind the glass area (not sure, I forget what it is called when someone has to help you when something is behind glass). A few months ago or last year we noticed Salvation Army would bag a bunch of jewelry up in one bag and say it was $70 or $100 - um, really? You couldn't see the pieces and WTH, why do you think we are at a thrift store...like I have $100 for a guess what's in here bag? There is plenty of parking, the employees are professional and kind. The store is well laid out lots of options for buying...ahem, minus jewelry!

Most of their cough and cold items are behind a little cabinet. When you open the cabinet, a chime goes off until it is closed. I bought a few more items, checked out and walked back to my brother's home. It is in a nice location, easily accessible by the neighborhoods surrounding it and anyone riding down the street. It has most of the items that you would want from a grocery store, so you won't have to go to a full grocery store.

I understand it's Peach Fest and they were busy, but 3 out of our 4 ice cream orders were made incorrectly. On top of that, our bill was around $31, and we were told there was a 4% credit card service fee, yet somehow the total ended up around $38. A 4% fee obviously doesn't explain a $7 increase. The last time we were here, my banana split was made incorrectly. They remade it for me, which I appreciated, but then charged me for BOTH banana splits even though the second one was only made because the first one was wrong. Mistakes happen, especially when a place is busy. But when the orders are repeatedly wrong, the billing doesn't add up, and the customer service isn't there to make it right, it becomes hard to keep coming back. We've always preferred supporting local businesses, but unfortunately after our last two experiences, we'll probably be going to Dairy Queen or Trailside instead.
