We purchased (2)- 40 lb bags of the Royal Wing Black Oil Sunflower bird seed. We just got around…read morerecently to opening the second bag . However this morning I found a dead chickadee. After eliminating all the usual suspects and inspecting the bird closely who just appeared to be asleep without any visible signs of injury I inspected the bird seed. It contained small pieces of twigs through out the bag and varying in size up to 1 inch. Obviously this is the fault of the manufacturer and not Tractor Supply. However be careful of those large orange bags and open and inspect then ASAP. I believe this little bird died from eating a piece of wood mixed in with the seed,

I happened to be up in Kennesaw visiting a botanical garden and was in search of alfalfa meal for my roses. HD and Lowe's do NOT typically carry this. There's always Amazon, but since this Tractor Supply was near by, I made a quick stop and found Dr. Earth's organic fertilizer for my roses :). Instant gratification without spending an hour at a supersized store! This store was well organized with animal feed in the back and garden items on the right side. ++ Price was reasonable! +++ Service was GREAT! I was greeted at the entry, a nice woman helped me within 5 minutes, the line was short and the cashier was friendly and funny! ++ Parking is a private lot in front of the store. Easy and quick walk to the entrance. Overall, this TS was a convenient clean and friendly stop! Common sense is used here ;)
