The men's section is hit or miss depending on the season, but there is really something for everybody here. If you don't find what you're looking for, they will order it for the in-store price with free shipping which is very nice and convenient. Make sure you sign up for rewards because they gave me some pretty high value coupons. It is definitely worth a stop

This location is near my home and I've gone in twice and will admit to finding my daughter a pair of shoes each time in the clearance area for around $9 or so, but haven't found anything for myself yet. As I wonder through the aisles today, I remember thinking that all the shoes looked more like work/church shoes and I am normally looking for play shoes. I work in retail, so I buy good shoes to stand on my feet and work in, but when its time to play...I am a stiletto kinda girl. This location is neat and well organzied, but then it should be since I would say that 80% of the merchandise is black or brown shoes. Here it is 3 weeks before spring & Easter, and I didnt see one pair of spring colored shoes or sandles. Everything was (AGAIN) black, brown, pewter, or gold. And when I say spring colors, I'm not looking for pink bubblegum gators or anything else ghetto related, but a nice pretty spring color shoe. I like to shop in my own communtiy, but sometimes I just really don't think that retailers pay any attention to what really draws people like me to a place that is close to home and carries what I like. There were two people working in this large warehouse(type) store at about 5pm on a Tuesday afternoon/evening and probably 6 people shopping all togehter including me. Is this a sign of the economy being bad or a retailer not catering to its customers?

UPDATE: I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SHOE IN THIS STORE.. sorry Jeff I was rocking with you…read moreunfortunately, I came into Walter's to use store credit from a pair of shoes I returned in January. I was told when I made the return that all I'd need was my ID -- the store keeps the slip on file. When I gave my name and ID, the associate couldn't find my slip. Instead of continuing to look thoroughly, he accused me of already using the credit or that it wasn't in my name, suggesting I was trying to get over on the store. This was said in front of other customers, which left me feeling humiliated, disrespected, and singled out. I later found a picture of my slip and saw the store had made the error -- my name was written incorrectly on their end. Which was funny because I was told it was my fault and that in all the years the store had been operating, they had "never made a mistake." My name starts with an "S" why was there an "M" on the slip, I have no clue. Even after it was clear I was right, there was no apology or effort to make things right. In that moment, I did not feel I was given the same respect or fair treatment that another customer might have received. The entire interaction was unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

You name it, they have it; Rocawear, Akademics, Coogi and Enyce are just some of the clothing brands in store. For your shoe game, DTLR has Nike, Adidas, Reebok and plenty of other brands to choose from. Although DTLR only sells men's clothing, this store is very similar to VIM & S&D in New York City. There are six stores in the metro area and the selection at some locations is better than others. To find a store in your neck of the woods go to www.dtlr.com.

I'm sure they have a problem with shoplifting as the clerks will practically follow you over the store, they use the pretense of going over the various brands they sell and what is most popular right, but realistically, I know when I'm being shadowed in a store. Sells a wide selection of men's urban wear, and a good selection of hats and caps. The person I was shopping for requested that I purchase clothing in size medium or large. Almost nothing was, most items were XXL and up, so if you just like wearing clothes three sizes too big, or you are a big guy that wears trendy hip hop clothing, this is the place to go. Located in the Camp Creek Marketplace in the area where Target and Party City are located.
