The situation here is essentially over and it's just a matter of what the next steps are…read more Susquehanna Valley Mall has lost too many stores to recover, including anchor store Bon-Ton, Books-A-Million, and Victoria's Secret among many others. The mall remains in relatively good condition, despite the lack of stores. We found out why no major changes have occurred; the previous owners were deep in debt. The mall went for sheriff's sale in August 2019 and is now owned by the bank. The only major developments that have occurred is the sale of the former Sears to Family Practice Center, who have been renovating it into a clinic. The future of the Susquehanna Valley Mall is a mystery. Until it's sold to a new owner, the mall continues to lose stores in "status quo" mode. I'd like to see the former Weis sold to Ollie's Bargain Outlet, who needs a MUCH better space. I suspect the mall will have to be redeveloped by new owners and it's a real question how much will remain a traditional mall. Finally, how will the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation Project bypass affect the shopping strip when completed? There will probably be no happy ending at the Susquehanna Valley Mall.

Three stars because it is well maintained, and it does get some good pop-up stores. This area has…read moremany shoppers, some of whom like a splurge. Wouldn't a high- end store like Nordstroms or Bloomingdale's be good? Even a Nordstrom's Rack would be nice. Also, I don't think any of these would affect Boscov's, which is still essential.

I really wanted to give 4 or 5 stars because I want this store to excel and appreciate their many bargains. This location frequently does a lot of good markdowns on seasonal and general merchandise. I bought rolls for Thanksgiving, and they were fresh Sara Lee brand. $3.65 seemed a bit pricy. Maybe price was due to it being a premium item and not store brand. I frequently compare Clover Valley to name brand in foods, and get about the same item for significantly less. I like the store brand home goods, frequently purchasing the toilet paper here. Using the Dollar General app, I have applied coupons for bigger savings. A few recommendations: On a visit of 11/30/24, the cashiers were too chatty to the point where I felt intrusive on their conversaconversation. The discussion included something about who was in charge. It seemed silly. The stocky, short-haired female employee was crabby. I asked her if she was okay after she seemed annoyed to help a customer, and she replied that she was really tired. I get it. I really do. Don't forget the tenets of customer service. Several aisles reeked of cigarettes and perhaps Marijuana. Consider better air filtration. The clearance table near checkout registers was accessible, but made it ccramped when customers were in line and others were shopping the markdowns.

I asked her if she could hold them... she goes "they are walking out the door now". Why in the heck would you say you had them while checking a person out with the last ones. Thought that I could do it all by carrying it, but unfortunately I needed a cart. The aisles were full and the customers aplenty. It was irritating because everything was so picked over and I couldn't help but feel like people were purposefully in the way. Every single time I wanted to look at an item I swear someone would enter my personal space and hover in front of the item I was trying to look at. It's always odd when you come to a Walmart thinking that you are going to be saving money, that is until you get to the register and finally see the damage you did to yourself. Not really saving money or time when you stop at one. I made the best of it while I was here, maybe because I had my headphones in and just went about my business and tried to save myself from being too irritated.

Usually they are in the Vision Center or on an end cap in hardware. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and found the Vision Center closed on a Thursday. The stupidity of it is ridiculous. A sign indicated Thursdays it was closed. This is how they serve their customers? The sign should have read: "We're closed Thursday, so if you need something, eat shit, dumbass. We don't care."
