When we called to order the representative was no longer there, no one answered the cell phone we were provided until after the date. Another Rep took the order from us but John Deere financial would not honor the special due to the date being late. Anyway, we received the tractor, and we were supposed to get a plow to go with it. We had to call several times and once we were able to get in contact with him, we were told the rep we were dealing with was no longer there and they could not find the paperwork showing that they ordered the plow, After much researching they found the paper work and they did come and took the tractor to put on the plow. They did return the tractor to us but we asked if someone can come and show us how to put it on and off. We were told to utube it. After multiple phone calls they ended up sending someone out who spent a whole of two minutes. I was so disappointed in this company, as an affiliate of John Deere and will be switching companies for service.

I went in kinda knowing what I wanted but wasn't married to the ferris by any means. As I was browsing, angelo came down and asked if I needed help. I explained that I wanted to buy a mower and was looking at the ferris is700. He was telling me that it was a great machine and it was a good choice, and I proceeded to tell him that the law enforcement discount was what was persuading me to it. He asked if I considered a scag for their hero discount. I asked what it was, and he said 15% off the entire thing compared to the 500$ off the ferris. He showed me a nice scag patriot and said it was just as nice as the ferris but for a lot less with my discount. No bear came through and was asking about what i was looking for, and he also was telling me how great of a machine the scag is. I asked about a power bagger, and he checked to see if they had one, and they did. I said, "Let's do it then." He offered me free delivery, and they installed the bagger for me and delivered it 2 days later. Angelo and no bear are absolutely awesome down there. They can find you any part and really know what they sell. I highly recommend them for any power equipment needs and look forward to using them in the future. Nice easy process from start to finish.

He pointed to doors leading to the shop area. As I approached the door's Angelo's son at the top of the stairs asked me what I was doing. I told him I had a pee problem. In a nasty demanding voice he yelled "There are no bathrooms here".....I am a returning customer looking to buy that day....I will never shop at this store. I had to go into the nearby woods to pee.. Can't help but think that such a hostile manner will affect their future business..

They're great at selling things but if you have any problems at all you're in for a real adventure. You don't know which character you're going to get. Especially if it's something they don't want to deal with! Attitude for days and kind of slow at getting things done. How these guys have survived over the years I'll never know. They are at their best during a sale for sure. But not people sensitive or customer service centered at all after-sale! Very self centered. It's a shame because they do sell good products and maintain the facility very well. Their prices are HIGH but I guess they have to cover for the customers they've lost or driven away. I really wanted to continue to do business with them but wow, we just couldn't continue to do it. Sad.

The salesman was very helpful and looked up prices for me, guided me thru the various paint options and placed my growing selection of items in a box. Ultimately, I left with everything I needed except the beautiful brand new TC55 with cab parked prominently in the lot. They unequivocally have superior products and service. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my tractor accessories and lubricants. Pine Plains has been my dealership of choice since I first moved to NY and sought out the best new dealership with which to begin a new relationship.

Ask to purchase multiple bags of stove pellets and asked if they could be loaded into the car. The cashier called for backup assistance, asked if I would mind waiting a few moments, which I did and he continued to ring customers. A few minutes later the cashier came back, apologized and said that there was only one other person working in the store and was called away for something else I'm building style house for my girl and thanked me for my patience. He then went over to the stove pellets grab the bag and rang me up for the 15 I had requested, I paid and you gave me the receipt. He said to pull around front and Rob would come out and load them into my car. It did take a little while longer but eventually Rob came out with the bags and assisted me in loading them into the car. He was quick courteous and professional. As these two employees were helping me they continue to help other customers who had questions and wanted to make purchases. I was impressed that these two gentlemen Rob who was the manager on duty, and Ryan how was the cashier were able to run the store as well as they did with only the two of them. I did have to wait a bit, but all the customers were treated courteously had their questions answered, and items rang up quickly. Having only two employees on a Friday afternoon seemed odd, but they did a fantastic job. If it had been any busier though I'm not sure it would have worked

We believe Don, the owner is a good, honest guy but make no mistake Cheryl is it ,she gets it done right, returns calls, emails ect no bs, explained every detail. We own a business as well, wish we have more folks like these guys, gonna buy a zero turn mower next year, it will be purchased at Bassani. EXTREMELY MISLEADING. Went into the store because I saw big yellow signs that said 50% OFF…read more Walked inside and began to browse their boots. I came across a nice pair that I was interested in. There was a big green sticker on the boots that said 50% OFF. I looked at the bottom of the boots for an original price of $260. I was shocked by how expensive the boots were, but since they were half off, I decided they were reasonable. I went up to the counter and asked for my size. They gave me the size I needed, and I tried on the boots. They fit perfect and I was so excited to buy them. That's when everything took an unexpected turn. The cashier asked me if I had a membership to the store. I told her I did not and she informed me that I had to pay for a membership in order to get the sale. The membership was $15 because it was half off as well. I did not want a membership so I then told them I did not want the boots anymore. They then asked if I was sure and I was. I left the store feeling very disappointed as well as mislead. The signs that said 50% OFF outside should have specified With Membership. The bright green signs on the boots also should have specified With Membership. It would save time for everyone. There are many people that travel to Chester from out of town, and do not need or want to pay a years membership to a store they are just passing through.
