This is a review about TSC store in Grass Valley, Ca. but am sure information applies to all TSC stores. Totally dishonest. I made a 2 part order via online. They confirmed they had part one of order and I picked it up. They said they didn't have the 2nd item and so nothing was done. However, I noticed a hold was put on my card for amount of that item, even tho they said the couldn't get it. I called and they assured me that item would not be charged to my account until it was picked up and as they didn't have nor couldn't get item, I wouldn't be charged. 3 days later my card was charged for this item thru paypal. I called store and they referred me to, manager who said she had nothing to do with it and I had to call company offices to straighten this out. I called and got run around again. I have filed complaint with paypal and paypal then sent them a questionare and they refuse to answer this. Stay away from anything they sell unless you have it in hand. One of most dishonest companies I've dealt with. read more

Let's face it, we all have times that get messed up. This time I needed to return some gates that my husband bought. They weren't bad gates we just bought the wrong ones. Upon arriving at the store I noticed I didnt bring a receipt. No worries, they looked up my number. Once they started processing my return the line behind me started to get quite long. Immediately they brought out more people to assist with the check out lanes. Then there was an issue with the return as some items weren't pulling up. They brought in a manager to help. We got the items to pull up but then there was issue finishing the process due to the computer. They called their customer service number and figured out the glitch. Once the return was to be processed the item I needed to switch it out for was not in stock. I probably should have checked prior to all of this but it didnt cross my mind. They assured me they could order it. They offered a different solution if I chose to use it. Some people were getting a bit antsy but they kept everyone calm and helped each one with their needs. Long story short, sometimes Murphy's law happens and sometimes there is Auburn Tractor supply and all their employees that are awesome and still make your day great by offering solutions and saving you money in the meantime. Love this place! read more

Just went to Tractor supply in Auburn. It's one of the bigger TSC's in the area. I must say that they are very friendly and very helpful. I was helped by Cody, Zach and Tam, and also a couple nice cashiers. I would recommend this store, the employees are very helpful and the store is very neat , clean and well stocked. read more

Excellent service here with a good selection. A man named Tam helped me out big time with finding what I needed. He was courteous and kind.

Still scratching my head on this one. Amazingly bad service, for no apparent reason. One of our mechanics got some overalls from this company. We liked em, and I called about ordering some more for the rest of the team. Astonishingly, nothing from Tractor Supply Co. No help, no reason, just outright stubborn refusal to do business. I've never been told NO more times from a business for no reason. They claim the order size (15-20 pieces) is too large. We offered to pre-pay the order. We offered to have someone drive there to pick them up. We offered to pay cash or check. For some odd reason, the people who work here think they aren't in the helping customer business. For no reason at all, they refused to place an order with the manufacturer on our behalf. Absolutely refuse to return calls, or allow us to talk with anyone in management. Inexplicably bad service. I'd encourage everyone to find a supplier that wants to be in business and help people. read more

On tractor supply page they offer a 20% off to senior citizens, the last Tuesday of the month They no longer honor this policy, but have not change their page. This is bull. Called customer service main line only to have her tell me that this is the Canadian company that does this, Total lie, Website says one thing they say another. Shitty company, wont be around for long. By the way it took 40 minutes on hold for customer service to answer. read more

I will now be going to Eco Valley Ranch. They beat TS prices anyway and family owned so we are not feeding a giant corporation rather we are supporting our local community. I called TS to ask about fence brace pins. Happened to speak with the store manager Vern. The guy kept talking over me. Was short tempered. Was more interested in hanging up. Wouldn't consult his computer and kept saying "I don't know what that is". I kept thinking "then consult your computer". He was getting angry with me because he didn't know what a brace pin for a fence is (hint: your lumber yard full of posts can't hold up a fence without a brace pin). When I insisted he look it up, he finds it and then says we don't carry it and kept trying to hang up. I needed to know what it was made of and how many per pack but he was not answering any questions and kept saying we don't carry it, order it online, and kept talking over me every time I asked a question. I've spent over $10k at this store in the past 3 months. Never going back. If the TS DM wants to discuss I am happy to chat. read more

I'd love to give this store a 5 but I'm sick of issues! Today went in to look at a safe and use a 10% coupon good in store and online they had a Cannon model # ts5934 in store for $699 but online at Tractor supply co it's listed as $599 with free in store pick up. Talked to the assistant manager and she won't honor the $599 price. Apparently the store manager is out. So I tried to order it online with free instore pickup but online is saying 10% coupon number is invalid even though manager agreed it's valid and says good to use online. So they gave me an 800 number to call when I asked for corporates number and that number doesn't work. So then I had to go online to find corporates number and their system won't transfer me when I follow the directions to hit a number to talk to a person. So I want to purchase this safe I'm getting No Help from this store or corporate! I've done a lot of business here and to be treated this way is not ok! It's like they don't want my business! It's issues like this that make customers stop going to your physical store! Update finally got thru to a customer service rep via corporate who was helpful. She honored the 10% coupon on the price of $599 and set it up so we can pick it up at the store at no charge. She was puzzled as to why the store couldn't help me by adjusting the price and honoring the coupon while I was physically there. She is passing my experience onto corporate. So frustrating but thankfully a knowledgeable and friendly person worked at the corporate number who took care of me. I worked retail for many years and was a store trainer and I'm appalled at the lack of customer service people give these days. It's no wonder stores are closing who wants to drive to go shop where staff are unhelpful and don't understand how company policy works! read more

Despite the misleading name Tractor Supply carries a wide variety of stuff for home. They often have things that the nearby Home Depot is out of or does not carry. Great selection of pet supplies too! I am now buying my scoopable cat litter there since it is cheaper and comes in a bag, not a plastic bottle or bucket, which I always shudder at the waste. I always get good service too. read more
