After an annual tune up and an self diagnosis of a particular part, I assumed it was the Carburetor and reached out to Destiny Small Engine Repairs for a professional diagnosis. After setting up an appointment and speaking to Kadeem by phone, we both thought it might be the Carburetor but wouldn't know until I dropped off the lawnmower. Kadeem said he'd look over everything and give me his full assessment in less than week. During the middle of the week Kadeem sent me a picture of my engine pressure, noting that it was extremely low and it was unfortunately the engine that was going out; which with a now 13+ yr old lawnmower I could expect. Kadeem gave me the option of looking for engine parts for a rebuild, but suggested a more cost effective engine swap. What particularly impressed me was the fact that Kadeem was willing to give me a good working lawnmower, that was donated but he didn't need. If I just wanted to do the engine swap myself since I've done a number of repairs myself on my lawnmower. But instead because of that generous offer, I decided to have Kadeem maintain the business and do the swap instead. Picked up the lawnmower and checked it out, and it started up better than I can remember. Overall: Excellent service and great communication along the way, and very reasonable prices for repairs.

The initial problem was structural but Mohammad conducted a comprehensive analysis to ensure the mower was cutting correctly, the charger was working properly and the battery was holding a charge (it wasn't). I was so impressed, I brought over my son's gas mower and they fixed it on the spot. I was expecting to pay quite a bit for the repair of both mowers. The front is filled with lawnmowers and weed eaters, the guys in the back are non stop working putting lawn lmowers on the table fixing them one at a time. Last week i was mowing my back yard and the chord snapped off and my mower turned off, so i brought my mower in for service, i brought it in dirty af! They serviced it, changed the oil, changed the spark plug, added a new string and sharpened the blade for 60 bucks, they also serviced my weed eater for 35. Keep in mind this is a cash only place so come here wit that green. The location is not the beat and parking is small but the service they provide and the work they do is excellent! I recommend it no doubt! I almost forgot to say that when i got my equipment back it was pretty clean they clean if up after servicing it.

I called Adam to see if he was available to take a look at fixing my lawnmower. To my surprise Adam said bring it by and he would possibly be able to fix it that same day. Adam quoted me a very reasonable price to work on the lawnmower. Adam quickly determined that it was the carburetor. He cleaned the carburetor and got the lawnmower running. Amazing. I did request a new carburetor just for my own peace of mind. Fixed within one week! Other repair shops quoted me 4 to 6 weeks and double the price to look at my lawnmower. I definitely recommend having Adam look at your lawnmower.
