I'd been having trouble with my gas powered lawnmower, and after trying to start it, it not generating enough power to start up. After an annual tune up and an self diagnosis of a particular part, I assumed it was the Carburetor and reached out to Destiny Small Engine Repairs for a professional diagnosis. After setting up an appointment and speaking to Kadeem by phone, we both thought it might be the Carburetor but wouldn't know until I dropped off the lawnmower. Kadeem said he'd look over everything and give me his full assessment in less than week. During the middle of the week Kadeem sent me a picture of my engine pressure, noting that it was extremely low and it was unfortunately the engine that was going out; which with a now 13+ yr old lawnmower I could expect. Kadeem gave me the option of looking for engine parts for a rebuild, but suggested a more cost effective engine swap. What particularly impressed me was the fact that Kadeem was willing to give me a good working lawnmower, that was donated but he didn't need. If I just wanted to do the engine swap myself since I've done a number of repairs myself on my lawnmower. But instead because of that generous offer, I decided to have Kadeem maintain the business and do the swap instead. Picked up the lawnmower and checked it out, and it started up better than I can remember. Kadeem provides top notch service! I had performed some minor troubleshooting on my riding mower but was unable to get it started. I made an appointment to address the non-starting issue and also to perform a complete tune-up, sharpening, oil, change, etc. I had let maintenance and upkeep slide. Kadeem fixed the oil leak, blown fuse, tune-up, etc. He also showed me where to fix these items in the future if needed. My self-propelled mower also didn't start. When Kadeem opened the cover, he discovered a spring had been stretched and needed to be replaced. Kadeem was able to get the mower running but was not satisfied with the difficulty starting the machine. He wanted to order the spring and come back at a later date to completely fix the mower. Brought a large push trimmer for repair and Kadeem was able to tell me what he thought the problem was (and repaired it of course). My pressure washer just stopped working. I will admit I do not take the best care of it so I was expecting the worst for a possible repair. I found Destiny online and was able to book an appointment through the online portal which was very straight forward. Drop off was easy, and Destiney texted with updates throughout the time he was making repairs. He gave me an honest assessment, made much needed repairs and a tune-up for a very reasonable price. I got the machine back and had the same issue (not his fault but my bad gasoline which he explained after the return check-up) When I texted him that it wouldn't start he called me less than five minutes later to go over a recheck game plan.
