The initial problem was structural but Mohammad conducted a comprehensive analysis to ensure the mower was cutting correctly, the charger was working properly and the battery was holding a charge (it wasn't). I was so impressed, I brought over my son's gas mower and they fixed it on the spot. I was expecting to pay quite a bit for the repair of both mowers. However, the bill I received, for what they did, left me feeling I should be paying more. It was just an incredible value. Due to their customer service, quick responses, expertise in all aspects of mower and other gas/electric devices, my rating of VIP Repairs couldn't be higher. After an annual tune up and an self diagnosis of a particular part, I assumed it was the Carburetor and reached out to Destiny Small Engine Repairs for a professional diagnosis. After setting up an appointment and speaking to Kadeem by phone, we both thought it might be the Carburetor but wouldn't know until I dropped off the lawnmower. Kadeem said he'd look over everything and give me his full assessment in less than week. During the middle of the week Kadeem sent me a picture of my engine pressure, noting that it was extremely low and it was unfortunately the engine that was going out; which with a now 13+ yr old lawnmower I could expect. Kadeem gave me the option of looking for engine parts for a rebuild, but suggested a more cost effective engine swap. What particularly impressed me was the fact that Kadeem was willing to give me a good working lawnmower, that was donated but he didn't need. If I just wanted to do the engine swap myself since I've done a number of repairs myself on my lawnmower. But instead because of that generous offer, I decided to have Kadeem maintain the business and do the swap instead. Picked up the lawnmower and checked it out, and it started up better than I can remember. Overall: Excellent service and great communication along the way, and very reasonable prices for repairs.

They have a huge inventory of washers and dryers. Plenty of refrigerators and stoves too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the pictures do not show how huge this place is, I mean wow. Take a look at their reception area, papers everywhere, a mess..dirty and dusty!! Appearance says a lot. If they don't even care what customers can see, that tells you a lot. Even though it looked like a mess in there. I bought a washer and dryer set for about $745, since I was trying to be frugal and it was cheap. The dryer was fine. The washer however shook like an earthquake and didn't spin correctly, leaving the clothes dripping wet! I immediately called Appliance warehouse and they sent a repairman out in a week, they stated it was the soonest someone can come out to check it out. Mind you, I just had a baby and is recovering from a c-section. Having two kids under 2, I need to do laundry and can't wait a week. I was so frustrated! Repairman finally came out and ran a few cycles and stated we have to run it only on "normal" cycle. Ok....I should be able to run it on whatever cycle suits my needs, that's why there are different options on the washer. Days after he came out, same thing the washer was loud and shook again (on normal setting). I called Appliance warehouse again and it's the same story, I had to wait for days for a repairman to come out. I asked if we can get a replacement, and the lady who is tan and has long nails stated "no" the repairman has to try and fix it at least "6" times...EXCUSE ME?? Finally, after one last attempt, repairman came out again, and they washer now does not shake anymore but I am only able to run it on "normal" cycle, not "heavy or light cycle". I found out that all of their washer and dryers are all torn apart and rebuilt with reburnished parts (junky parts). Long story short, go somewhere else! You're better spending an extra $100-200 for a brand new set at Costco. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE! Oh yeah, and they tell you to leave as "good review" to get a free month of warranty.

His shop has limited hours (8 am-12 pm, Tue-Sat) and he quoted a 4-week turnaround. It ended up taking about 12 weeks, with multiple delays and minimal updates. That said, when we finally got it back in mid-June, the mower worked perfectly and hasn't had a single issue since. If you need fast service, this may not be the right spot. But if you can be patient, Mike clearly knows his stuff and can get your mower running like new.

BIG MISTAKE, I've had nothing but problems with the oven and with Thor customer service. I've had four technicians come out to fix problems with the oven and fridge, none of which were fixed properly. Finally, Thor had River City come out. Ryan and Antwan called ahead to let me know they were on the way, were professional and courteous and fixed the oven door in less than 20 minutes. While they were here, I mentioned that the Thor icemaker had stopped working the first year, and while Thor sent me a replacement, they refused to send anyone to install it. I said I'd definitely call them when I remembered where I put it (LOL!), and about 15 minutes after they left, I found it! I called the office and they were able to send Ryan and Antwan back SAME DAY to install it for me at a reasonable price. Definitely keeping River City in my Rolodex! Hoping I don't have to call them anytime soon, but nice to know I found a reliable, honest repair service at a fair price.
