The owner spoke to me in a rude and aggressive tone over a simple issue that could have been resolved professionally. Her claim she has given "many free things," is unfounded. She once changed my dog's food without my approval, then charged me for it, that wasn't free, and then left a voicemail calling my dog by the wrong name. How can she claim to know my dog's history if she doesn't even know her name? My suggestions get your story straight before calling. Unfortunately, I've heard similar complaints in the community and they have moved their business elsewhere due to her, the owner, Wendee, disrespectful behavior, which seems to be a pattern. In my opinion, there are other companies that provide better service, more flexible pick-up and drop-off times, and a kinder approach. I can now book flights that fit my budget and choose a care provider that values me and my pet. It's clear there are more affordable and reliable options out there for your best friends, and I'm relieved to no longer deal with the unprofessionalism at A to Z Dog Ranch. Happy trails!

With Lily's tumultuous past, I needed a vet I could really trust that could also earn my dog's trust (neither of those things being easy). Before she settled into her new life with me, Lily wasn't a fan of anyone, often barking or snapping at anyone who got close to her. Dr. McReynolds was an exception. This office has a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and Dr. McReynolds is a wonderful veterinarian. The first review posted to this site about her was what convinced me to try her first in the Austin area. She has helped me address a list of issues that have come up with Lily - from weight, to separation anxiety, to allergies - with lots of advice, sourced from her personal experiences owning dogs as well as her education. She takes the time to evaluate my dog's health point-by-point. She even spends a chunk of time talking to me about how things are going, even if there are no glaring health issues. She is very personable and kind. I don't EVER feel rushed. Many vets are good with animals, but not so great with the owners - not true here. She has made my dog comfortable (again, not an easy task) while using her vast knowledge to help her be the healthy, happy dog that she is. My dog has become a dearly loved companion for me, and I would never trust her well-being with anyone I didn't think was up to the task. Lily loves Dr. McReynolds. Additionally, the office is very clean - without having that awkward, sterile feeling to it that many vets' (and doctors') offices have. The setup is dog-friendly. There's always plenty of parking. I never have to wait long - if at all - when I arrive for my appointment, even if I'm really early. All charges and treatment plans are explained well. The entire staff is empathetic, understanding that a dearly loved pet's health can be a very emotional issue. Overall, Dr. McReynolds and her staff run an efficient operation while doing an exemplary job. I've dealt with many veterinarians throughout my life, and I've never met a friendlier, more knowledgeable one. I'm a customer for life, as long as I own dogs.

He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and took the time to ask thoughtful questions. It was very clear how much he genuinely cares about the animals and the people who bring them in. The entire office has such a warm, personal feel. You can tell this is a place built on long-standing relationships. There are so many photos of the doctor with patients over the years, along with cards and notes from grateful pet parents, which really speaks volumes. Everyone on the staff was so sweet and attentive, and the office itself is charming and inviting. Overall, it was a truly positive experience, and I left feeling really grateful to have found such a caring and knowledgeable vet.

I asked another painter to give me an estimate on painting my white doors to match the painting that A-Z Home Maintenance just did. When the new painter came over, he explained to me that all of the trim, baseboard and crown molding throughout the house was painted incorrectly. The painters from A-Z Home Maintenance painted over all of the oil-based paint on our trim, baseboard and crown molding with latex paint and they did not properly prepare those surfaces beforehand. They did not use a primer before painting over the oil-based paint with latex paint. The new painter said all of the trim, baseboard and crown molding throughout the entire house needed to be stripped. - I never got my final walkthrough with Cory or Francisco. - I never got touch-up paint for the ceilings, even though I asked repeatedly in writing before, during and after the work was done. - They missed a drywall crack in the ceiling that they were supposed to fix. I noticed and pointed this out to Francisco in person while I paid him (my mistake for paying him anyway). He said he would come back and fix it, but he was in the wind once he had my money. - They broke the light fixture above the toilet in the master bathroom. Didn't reimburse me and didn't fix it. - They spilled a 5-gallon bucket of paint down the entire length of our driveway. - A-Z Home Maintenance was over twice as expensive as the first estimate we got from one of their competitors. I will never use or recommend A-Z Home Maintenance again.
