Now my adult children all bring their vehicles to Ernie's as well; when you find a great mechanic you stick with him! All you have to do is watch how many regulars and return customers he has and that speaks volumes about how his service builds customer trust and loyalty. The prices are reasonable, the service is prompt, sometimes while you wait; always in the same morning or same day service. Most importantly, in every vehicle Ernie's take care of for our family, he takes the time to explain what is needed and when it is needed, and on the vehicles we own with dealership warranties, he always advises whether we really need the service or we do not, and he always looks for the best option for the customer, not just what is best for the dealership or the bottom line to the business, how are you going to beat that? You can't! In addition, if you need service he doesn't provide (body work, painting, etc.) he always knows someone who can do the work that he trusts and knows well enough to recommend with full confidence. Can't beat that! This shop is a place you can trust and depend on 100% - what a concept! Thanks to Ernie and his team for making our entire family happy, 100% satisfied, and very well cared for customers for at least the last 15 years! Trust me on this recommendation - you will be very glad you did!

I brought my 2018 Chevrolet 3500 Duramax in to have the head gaskets replaced and coolant leak fixed on November 11th. From the immediate start there were red flags. Pavel ZAICHENKO, the owner, told me that they would commence work on the truck the following day on November 12th. They didn't actually start working on the truck until the 16th of November due to " other priorities". After they had fully disassembled the engine of my truck, the mechanics didn't properly diagnose the issues nor order parts that would inevitably have to be replaced during replacement of the head gaskets. Resulting in additional weeks for the repair & the engine being reassembled after the heads were done being refurbished. Pavel then contacted me to tell me that additional things would need to be replaced and they would have to break the engine back down again to fix these issues. After 6 weeks of having possession of my truck, Pavel called to tell me the truck was done. When I arrived at his shop to pick up my truck, the truck was not complete and there were still parts that needed to be reinstalled on the truck. The wheel well covers were on the back of the truck. There was an oil pan and bolts underneath the truck with puddles of oil everywhere. After questioning him on what he actually did to the truck, Pavel was unable nor willing to provide me with physical receipts from the parts that he had purchased for the repair of my truck. At this point, there were a number of red flags. So I asked Pavel for his New York State repair shop registration, and insurance for his business which he admitted to me that they did not have. Pavel also admitted to me that none of his employees are on the books nor are certified in any form of automotive repair. During the test drive of the Truck I immediately noticed that the truck was misfiring and not running properly. I allowed Pavel to take the truck back in to fix the issues with his work. After four attempts to fix the truck I finally got the truck back. The same night that I took possession of the truck, the truck broke down from over heating and was leaking oil / coolant, as well as toxic fumes from the burning oil spewing into the cab of the truck. I then contacted Pavel which he gave me a hard time and insisted that he had fixed the truck properly after being paid in full. After I allowed him a fifth time to fix the issues with the truck I was forced to have the truck towed from his shop and brought to another shop to finish the work he had started. It's going to cost me thousands to fix the work that this company did. I want to warn anyone looking to get work done here to stay away. I posted photos of how my truck was presented to me after he claimed the work was completed.
