Apparently there was no actual cement in the concrete mix so it wasn't hard like it should be. The next day Kirk had guys out there tearing up the concrete. They poured the patio again for a second time and this time they hand trimmed the lines instead of machine cuts! I will be using them again for sure! My dad (who poured concrete all his life) was in town while the work was being done. He agreed that these guys were top notch!

His solution for that was to add 1x's and 2x's to make the windows fit. Now it looks like a jigsaw puzzle. I also pointed out concerns with siding that was installed incorrectly, the trim that wasn't cut correctly, and the gutters that were leaking. There has been no follow up since the work was 'completed', three years ago. Again, Darrin did great work with the insurance company. The follow through is lacking. And there has been no customer satisfaction after the fact.

He asked the client as few questions as possible and went with whatever his first thought is. Occasionally his first idea is great. He and doesn't really discuss with clients until he has detailed images and engineering details for it. Craig would blame the client and charge them more if they asked for changes to things that he should have verified with them before continuing on. He has a lot of employee turnover. At least 7 trained designers that he's hired left within the past couple of years because he doesn't listen to others or accept any fault. But I'd hire him for a good deck or to update finishes. Or as a circus animal trainer - he's good at yelling at what he doesn't know how to communicate with.
