I contracted for repair of a chimney vent (for the furnace). The work was done before a rain storm and when I questioned him about it he said that the rain would not damage the work. They did the work, the rain came. The next day I went on the roof to check it out. The rain had washed away much of the "crown" and mortar patches in the brick! To his credit, he came the next business day and fixed it. But, what if I had not gone up on the roof? I'm a senior in good health, but what if I couldn't? Also, not knowing what the job entailed, I accepted the estimate. The job took less than two hours. Brain surgeons don't make as much as I paid. VERY expensive. Patrick (the owner) gave me an appointment for his workers to install a sump pump. The first pictures are of the check valve portion of the project. The second picture is an extension installed by Mazzone to my check valve two feet below my basement floor. The third set of pictures are from the completed job by Arid. The workers from Arid were very polite and worked quickly and very effectively with a great deal of carefulness for my home and living spaces.
