There is a sign, hours posted & can see through the window there is stock, but it's not clear if this is truly a shop or just a storage locale for their online presence since they aren't open as expect. The older reviews & the description made it sound like a perfect spot for moms to get some decent deals and also donate to those in need. Hoping this was just an off day? Note: the older reviews speak of artwork on the outside brick walls. Think they have moved, as the listed address is a storefront in an "Extra Storage" office park.

My first time ordering in store I was greeted and given champagne by a make SA. I was shopping for new heels and decided on the classic black sling backs. My second time I received an email about the Rani Pink collection for this past summer and was in love with the vibrant pink! I saw sandals and a sarong that I wanted. I scheduled my in person appointment which I regretted. Once I came into the store I was greeted. Jasmine brought out a light pink sarong and matching sandals. This was not the Rani Pink new collection. I was so exited I didn't realize until I went home and checked online. The next day I rescheduled an appointment online and Farrah was able to help get me the right set. I love the Rani pink sarong and sandals so much. The perfect color for summer! I just find it weird I specifically set an appointment for two items and then she brings out the wrong one. Which ended up being more hmmm interesting.

They did not have any screws, so they replaced my sunglasses with a brand new pair. I can't say enough about the assistant manager, Oscar, and my sales associate, Hannah. I wasn't sure what they were going to do, but they did the right thing. Oscar without hesitation, replaced my sunglasses. Of course, I ended up buying another pair of sunglasses. It's so hard to resist all the beautiful things in the Christian Dior store in River Oaks Houston. I would highly recommend them as they stand behind their products and treat their customers with dignity and respect.

Threadfare is an adorable kids boutique that's currently located in an awkward, temporary building but will soon be moving to the new shopping center on 34th near Oak Forest. Don't let the outside fool you, though- there's TONS of cute and affordable clothing, accessories, and toys for your kids packed inside. I came by looking for stocking stuffers for my kiddos, 2 years old and 7 months old. I had NO clue what I wanted, so I was just browsing hoping to spot something small and cute. The store had so many perfect gifts that I had a hard time narrowing down what I was going to buy! They carry some great kid brands you're probably familiar with, like MudPie and Magnetic Me, and some others that I haven't heard of before but are ah-DOR-able! I loved that when I came they had a big sale going on, with most clothing items 20-40% off. Score! I ended up getting my 7month old some magnetic-close jammies, and my 2-year old the cutest hair clips and kid-safe nail polish, both of which were a huge hit and she hasn't gone a day without one (or all) of her hair clips yet. Threadfare made it easy for me to find the perfect gifts for my kids at a great price!

I would never buy anything else here ever again and I would never recommend this place to anyone…read more Not even my worst enemy. My husband designed and bought our engagement ring here in 2017. The attitudes we get everytime we're here is astonishing. Especially from Gigi - who was the original sales person. It's ridiculous. Everytime we've come in since original purchase is we're told there was no original purchase even though the original sales person remembers. Their system can't find the order. Then can magically find some details under my name which makes no sense because it was a surprise engagement. My ring got resized recently (my husband was told at sales time lifetime resizing - but they declined this and advised it was full price. They eventually wavered and gave it to us at no cost which I did appreciate) and I realized after a few days I picked it up that there was a massive gap on one side that I hand noticed before. So I brought it back in. Of course I get an attitude about it. The First lady told me that it was my fault there was a chip on it. Then she took it to the jeweler who stated he's NEVER touched my ring ever in his life. Again, we bought it here, have had it resized once before this resuzing and then it had been resized a week prior to this interaction. Long story short - Mary (who is the most helpful person in this store) said she would take care of it. Would be completely redone. They called us and let us know it was completed. All better. I go in and it's almost exactly the same. Barely any different at all. They take us back to the jeweler who tells us that it's the head is crooked and the only way to resolve would be to get a whole new head. At their expense. Great, let's get this taken care of. I even at this point offered another solution where we would take on some of the cost and maybe upgrade the ring. We were told we would get a quote by the end of the day. We left again and less than 2-3 hours later we get a text with a video sayings it's completely fixed and resolved and we can come pick up the ring. No quote. Here we are again, at the store right now and it's still imperfect which I'm just at this point going to settle for because I'm so massively over this place and the customer service we've received. Never ever again.

Shopping for souvenirs in Houston, Texas…read more.. Because my eldest niece is attending college in Houston, she wanted to look for souvenirs to send to family and friends. We looked at Walmart, but they had a limited supply of Houston Texans items. She considered getting gifts at her college bookstore, but gifts are expensive there. We Googled "Houston souvenirs" and Gifts of Texas popped up. We found out that this shop is in the upscale shopping mall, The Galleria. Free parking was a plus. We could not find any store directory. We walked from the Orange parking garage to Saks Fifth Avenue without finding the store. My niece is a techie, so, she found the Galleria directory online and figured out that Gifts of Texas is by the entrance to the Westin ...and it's not on the ice skating rink level. It's on the first floor. (Yes... There's ice skating in August!) Gifts of Texas was manned by a lone elderly gentleman. He was very quiet. We browsed through everything... Sweatshirts, koozies, pot holders, tote bags, keychains, postcards, magnets, shot glasses, and more. I decided to get a Sheriff's badge for my boss... He'll luv it! If you need something to bring home, you might want to take a look. It's a bit pricey, but this shop has a good variety!
