    I wouldn't buy a pack of gum from these guys. They got me good. $4,500 later for repair costs, the car is finally road worthy.

I inquired on the process as I am in California. This was a purchase for my retirement. The car was nice in pictures and after reading reviews and researching the company as best I could, I contacted Shannon regarding the car. Shannon was not very forthcoming and basically just stayed silent and answered my questions with short answers. I have never owned a classic car, so I was asking how it ran and if there were major rust issues and he said as far as he knows No. Now I should of took his shortness as a red flag, but I trusted the company. I went a head a purchased the vehicle and asked to have Vintage Air installed. That brought up the total to approximately 68,000. During the install of the Vintage air, they recommended upgrading to a CVF Serpentine system to help with the added draw on the car and to help the cooling on the car. I approved of the add on, now I am at 71,000. Approximately 3-4 weeks later the car was finally done and the called and said I should upgrade the radiator with electric fans to also help with keeping the car cool. So, another 2000 dollars. Now the worst part as I agreed to these upgrades. I finally get the car 6 weeks after I purchased, and the delivery guy says just so you know the car is leaking oil all over the place. I parked the car in the garage since it was delivered at 10:00 p.m. and the next morning during the very first drive in town, the car is puking coolant in the parking lot, not to mention the rear main seal had left quite mess in the garage. The car was running at 230 degrees in 80-degree weather. I drove the car a total of 80 miles or so over 3 days and the car constantly ran at 230-250 degrees never reaching speeds over 65 mph. I parked the car until I could have it towed to my brother's classic car mechanic. Once he looked at it, he discovered 3 cylinders were over 200 degrees different than others, so they are going out and I need a new motor. So, after spending 73,000 not including the taxes which took it to 80, I need a new motor. The car also had the exhaust pipe hanging down unsecured from the frame, the yoke to the transmission is wrong and the drive shaft moves like crazy just by moving it with your hand. There are other somewhat small issues that are needing repair as well. Point is, I expected after spending that kind of money I should have a drivable car. I contacted Super Sport Classics via email, and they forwarded to their service manager Zach. Who I think is awesome and they did do a phenomenal job on the install of what I purchased. While trying to figure out a solution it was determined I am screwed, it is a used car. It was relayed to me that they purchase cars for resale but don't go over the car very thoroughly, so basically if it looks good, they charge a fortune, but they have no idea if the car is mechanically sound. So, if you are in the market be very diligent and have someone go look over the car because I got lipstick on a pig. Too bad to because I am in the market to purchase a 68-72 Chevy C10 and I still want my dream car 67 Nova. I will not be buying those vehicles from Supersport Classics.

I told him what was goingon with the vehice, he took the time to come out, checked out the vehicle and took the time to explain that they will do an total inspection on the car. i explained to him how much i spent last time and was not looking to spoend that amount this time around. Dave called later that day to explain to me what was totally wrong. he gave me the breakdown of what everything costed and my car was ready the same day. I felt at ease when going in this time around and knowing that the service wouldn't be expensive. I spoke to Sheila, Dave's Supervisor just to let her know what a well job he is doing and i was totally happy with my experience. Thank you Dave.

    Buyer Beware I…read morepurchased a vehicle from AUTO BY TOM INC, and the car broke down immediately as I was leaving the dealership. I returned it the very same day and formally requested a full cancellation of the contract. The vehicle has remained at the dealership since that day -- I do not have possession of it. Rather than resolving the issue fairly, I was informed that the contract would only be canceled if I paid $3,500. I do not have this money, and I do not believe I should be required to pay thousands of dollars to cancel a deal on a vehicle that failed immediately and was returned the same day. I contacted the financing company and was told that only the dealership has the authority to cancel the contract. I have made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this matter amicably, but I have consistently been told that cancellation will only occur if I make this payment. This situation has caused me severe stress and emotional distress. I am currently seeking psychological support due to the impact this experience has had on me. Additionally, I am deeply concerned about potential damage to my credit score -- something I worked very hard to build honestly and responsibly. I expected professionalism, transparency, and integrity when purchasing a vehicle. Instead, I feel trapped in a situation that could seriously harm me both financially and emotionally. Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering doing business here to proceed with extreme caution and protect themselves carefully. The moment the vehicle malfunctioned, I immediately called him and informed him that I did not want to proceed with the purchase, as the vehicle was obviously defective. But the worst part was the lack of respect shown to me and my wife. He mocked my situation, treating us with extreme disrespect and lack of empathy. I have a record of everything that happened with photos, videos, and text messages. My wife and I are having many problems because of this; it is not a trustworthy store and this person is not trustworthy. I do not recommend doing business with this individual. I would very much like to say what I think, but I will not let my emotions control me. I just want to forget the terrible experience I had at that store and I deeply regret ever meeting this person. I contacted the bank to cancel the contract, and they informed us that only the seller could undo the contract. I contacted him, "Tom," to terminate the contract, and he mocked me, saying I could sue him and the store, speaking sarcastically and making fun of my situation. In another attempt to terminate the contract, he asked for $3,500 to cancel it, which makes no sense. Why would I pay that amount? The vehicle broke down 10 minutes after leaving the dealership. Another important point. At the time of purchase, he assured us that he had taken out car insurance, but later discovered that he hadn't, which is absurd because we could have had problems with traffic laws considering that insurance is mandatory in the state of Florida. He lied, saying he had insurance, but he hadn't. We left the place without the mandatory insurance. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. This individual treated us with complete disrespect. From the first moment we had problems, he was sarcastic. He's saying the financing can't be terminated, but it can. I contacted the bank, informed them of what happened, and they told us that only the seller can cancel the contract. I contacted the seller to try to terminate the contract, and he, being very sarcastic and disrespectful as always, charged me $3,500 to break the contract, which is illegal. I informed the bank of this incident, that he charged me $3,500 to terminate the contract, and the bank told us he shouldn't have charged that amount. Not to mention that he also charged us for the towing, which is another absurdity because the car broke down when we left the store. It's important to make it clear that everything I'm saying is documented with photos, videos, and text messages. It's not safe to buy a car from this place; if you value your money, don't do business with this individual.

I didn't have a lot of money but what I did have I wanted to spend on a dependable, well running vehicle that didn't have over 150,000miles on it for some stupid high price just because it had the name Mercedes. Most of the dealers I spoke to where so cheesy and fake my BS-ometer was just going off every time I saw through their act. I don't like to judge people because you never know what they are going through. Until today, I never thought I'd be judged or made to feel less than because I'm disabled but shopping for a car today it happened. One very ballsy person had the nerve to say if I wanted the car I had to bring half the total $5000 price even though my accepted app had a price calculator that said $900 down would be $81 monthly payments. Besides feeling awkward since no one's ever been so obviously hateful or treated me like I am less than them, I just felt sad and then I was FURIOUS. I said I would get back to her and promptly blocked that tacky saleswoman on my cell. Keep treating people like that and you won't be selling cars for long! That's when Yancar and Son's Auto Sales called. I wasn't very pleasant at first but then he asked what I was looking for and for the first time all day, SOMEONE was listening to me! He didn't hide his skepticism about what I could afford or my income. BUT WHAT HE DID DO: looked through his inventory and found the type of car I had been asking for from salespeople all day!!! He asked me what I could afford and he didn't try to upsell me. He said now look, I am willing to work with you and if you want this car and are sure you can make the payments, come on in tomorrow at 10:30. It's nothing fancy but it's a good car with good mileage. I took a list of people as references and had already got insurance quotes when I walked in. He showed me my car and it was just what i wanted. By the way, take cash or if they take checks, write one out because I had a bank card I couldn't use but I gladly went over to the bank and brought back down payment. Oh and they do the tax/title and plate there so you don't have to go wait at the DMV for hours! When I was leaving I thanked them for working with me. I am so excited to have a car now! I am going to take everyone I know who may be looking to buy a car to them because I know I was scared of getting ripped off and it was such a nice experience! A lot of these dealerships see some people coming and prejudge and this isn't that kind of place. I'm sure if you have big bucks they will find what you want but if you don't have big bucks they will see if they have what you're looking to buy. These guys know the questions to ask people to help them figure out what they want to buy. And if you need any information on insurance they have some contacts that can give you quotes. My experience at this business was a positive one and I am glad I answered the phone when they returned my call after the day of car sales hell I had!! I really didn't want to go but so glad I did. I know that this is where I will come to buy a car or get maintenance done. I didn't think I would find a place willing to work with me to give me a second chance. I hope this review puts the idea into your head to stop by and see what they have to offer. I think you will be pleasantly surprised! They can find a car that fits your budget like they did for me. I am now so excited to work on getting my health taken care of and being more independent. They got me as a customer for life!!

Even though it was supposed to be included upon the sale, he ended up telling us we had to now pay for this. We asked if we could just return the car, and of course that was not an option. Didn't care about anything but the sale. Screwed over by yet another sleazy used car salesman. Yes I had to pay hundreds of dollars to have a car fixed that I just paid $5000 cash for.
