Came here to see the Lil Wayne concert. Wanted to check this out in ATL but the tickets were around $1000 for the same seats I got at the Township for $220. So... Bought the tickets, booked a hotel and drove 3 hrs from ATL. It's a smaller venue, semi intimate but a great time, as it allowed us to be very close to Lil Wayne. They served beer, wine and liquor from some makeshift concessions but I'm not complaining because we were able to get some heavy pours. There was adequate security and police presence for the size, the concert goers came to enjoy a show and left drama behind. The venue did its job. If there's another concert that interest me and it's cheaper than Atlanta for exceptional seat... I'll be back.

Not A Bad Seat In The House! A very intimate venue- This place gives you a nice comfortable feeling. I believe someone said it seats over 3000 people?? yet it still gives you a nice intimate feeling, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house! The auditorium is 80 years old- after a recent renovation the building is pretty spectacular! The staff are super nice and helpful- you can tell they take pride in their jobs! We went to see the "Fall Brawl" boxing match sponsored by Palmetto Boxing. The show was a blast! Very well organized and very entertaining, if ya like to watch the barbarian escapade of two men trying to pound each other silly? YEAH! :) It was a fun and entertaining evening in a very nice venue! Another cool thing about the building are the billings of previous shows that decorate the walls- This place has a real history! It's nice to walk around and imagine what it was like on the different nights of each of the shows...

Very cool old venue. Only problem is there isn't much surrounding the building - no bars/restaurants. Also, the acoustics were off.

When she told the security guard that she needed the bag to hold her tampons and she didn't have pockets so what was she supposed to do, the guy responded with "figure it out". We had to walk all the way back to the parking deck to leave both of our small bags and put whatever we could fit into my jean pockets. I guess some men don't understand that women's clothing isn't always made with pockets and we have something called a menstrual cycle, so it may not be so simple to "figure it out". Very glad I was there with her. And that I had pockets! Otherwise, the concert was great. But I don't think I'll be seeing another one here again.

They do have a full bar though, so there's that. I went to watch Pop Evil & didn't want to lose my front row spot to get a drink or have to pee. Sound system is on point you will feel the bass in your bones! You might want to wear earplugs though because wow, your ears will be ringing for a while after the show Oh they are pretty strict about the size of your clear bag. I would say put your ID & credit card on a lanyard and just have a few things in your pocket like keys, phone, chapstick.

Town Theatre - Waiting for the show to begin. We were seated in row q, near the back of the theater on the right hand side.

My youngest daughter has an interest in theater and I wanted to give her an experience that would encourage and inspire her to continue to express herself through acting. While I'm originally from Lexington, I now live in Honolulu, Hawaii. So I did some research online and saw that there was to be a performance while we were in town. I jumped at the opportunity and purchased tickets for us. The prices were very reasonable and we were able to get seats near the front/close to the stage - but not uncomfortably close. The theater itself was very well maintained, especially since it's a older/historic building. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. They even offered to print our tickets since we had no way of doing so. Also, the need to print tickets never occurred to me as I've converted to having most things in digital format in my day to day life. We were guided to our seats and given a thorough theater layout (pointing out restroom locations, exits, etc.) The highlight of the evening, of course, was the performance. We were both impressed with how incredibly talented the performers were at this community theater. I would love to visit again next time we're in town and if I were to live in the Columbia area, I am confident that my family and I would have season tickets.
