Nice place to relax and smoke hookah with friends. The room is really dark and foggy which give a nice atmosphere. There is three different hookah to choose from, we also had the choice of 6 different flavors. We stayed for about 90min and the hookah was still working ! They also serve alcohol so make sure to bring your ID. Nice and helpful staff ! read more

The Hookah Spot - Hookah Bars Near Me - Colombia, South Carolina

I actually signed up for Yelp just to give this place a less than one star review (I wish that were possible). We showed up after the posted opening time of 6 PM and opened the unlocked door only to be greeted with a very rude "we're closed" from a group of people sitting around an already lit hookah. I asked when they were open and they stated 7 PM. I mentioned the posted open time but wasn't too worried. We went and got a beer to wait out the hour and came back at 7:10 only to find the door now locked and the same group of people having not moved around the still lit hookah. Obviously the people working on Wednesday July 14th were more concerned about consuming their own product than serving customers who came back twice. If hours are different then make the appropriate changes vs having customers find ways to fill the time in between. Additionally, if you're going to say you open at another time, be open and don't be lazy still sitting talking while customers would like to enjoy your business. read more

The Hookah Spot - My review in picture form. - Hookah Bars Near Me - Colombia, South Carolina

Went for the first time with my husband. The Atmosphere was nice. Music was good. The furniture can be upgraded. Located in a great location. The ladies working were very nice and professional. I gave 4 stars bc we waited a while like 3 minutes at the door, then the waitress, escorted us to our seats. We sat down about 5 minutes before i had to ask if there was a menu. Other than that good spot to chill. read more

Great spot! I was visiting my sister who just moved to South Carolina. We are both hookah lovers and made it point to find a hookah spot for us to visit while I was there. I saw that The Hookah Spot was offering a Groupon and this location was only 15 minutes away from where my sister lives. So I bought it and was very excited to check the place out. The Hookah Spot exceeded my expectations. Beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere, great music, friendly and informative staff and awesome looking hookahs. We really enjoyed ourselves and I can honestly say that going forward, whenever I'm in SC, I will make sure to make a stop at The Hookah Spot for a fun night. And my sister will be returning soon! read more

The Hookah Spot - My first visit to South Caroline and The Hookah Spot with my sister Lily and niece Alysha! - Hookah Bars Near Me - Colombia, South Carolina

Google says this establishment closes at 12am but my husband and I came at 10:40p and were told by an employee that she decided to close early because there weren't enough people there that she thought she should leave it open til midnight. She told us she already served the last hookah for the night...little did she know, we had 6 more people coming to meet us there. Talk about bad business. So we had our friends and I meet us at some hookah spot in Rosewood that actually turned out pretty good..we will not be returning to the Hookah Spot. read more

Loved this place! Quality hookah. Great vibe. Good for out-of-towners in for Army graduation. Would definitely recommend the Sinatra and don't leave out the bubbles! read more

Great atmosphere and Telly greeted us right away with are zodiac sign. If I had to say one con it would be that they didn't serve liquor but beer and wine was an option. Overall, great establishment to enjoy some great hookah. Great variety of hookah flavors. read more

Came here on a Friday night. They said there was a one hour waiting list. Looked around, literally there are empty spots everywhere. Asked a couple if we could join them, they said it was totally fine. Manager came over and told us it we sit with them we would have to pay HALF of the other couple's tab... we were all so shocked (other couple included) so odd? If it's a matter of hookah availability, maybe that should have been considered that before opening to accommodate so many people. Garbage. read more

Great Hookahs for only $15 during the week.Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is chill with great music. The new prices makes it more affordable to come more often. read more

The music was not a vibe at all to have a good time AT ALL. If you are here to enjoy yourself with good music and hookah I do not recommend

It smells so great here! Oh damn I love this spot! Great flavors! Chill spot. I'll be going back soon.

Best customer service and selection. Highly recommend. I love this place and easily one of the best hookah places I've ever been too.

Huge disappointment! Their hours of operation are rather strange. Monday-Thursday 2-5pm then they reopen from 8pm-12am. On top of that they charge a $5 cover fee for entry on the weekend. Per person even if that person in your group isn't planning on smoking hookah. If that isn't the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of! Their hookahs start around $30 a pop, and the flavors are designated already so you can't mix and match flavors. They don't even sell liquor or food. For anyone who regularly smokes hookah... I highly recommend purchasing your own personal hookah because coming here is a definitely a rip off if you enjoy hookah as much as I do! read more

Never open on Saturdays like it's says. They open at 2 but this is my second time going and they are not open. They should change the hours on their answering machine. read more

Terrible hookahs. Even at $30 bucks, they were shitty, bad craftsmanship, bad customer service, horrendous knowledge of product. DO NOT GO HERE! x infinity. Should be a rate:0. read more

This place is trash! I'm literally about to report it to the BBB. Just came here at 11:11 --- according to their hours they close at 12. Door was locked- worker came to the door told me they close an hour before closing time so I said you closed 11 mins ago? I can't get a quick hookah? He said no. I didn't say anything then he slammed the door in my face and locked in. What type of customer service is this???? The people that work here literally think they are the elite of all bars. I am so angry at the type of employees that work here. When you come to a hookah bar you come to chill! Not to have the door slammed in your face. I will be reporting this lounge to the local BBB. Infuriated!!!! read more

Owner was a sweetheart, and prices weren't too bad. I would say each person spent about 10 when we went. Venue is small, but really nice and good music. read more

Came in with a party of four (two of them were first timers) and we were greeted by Eli. He was incredibly helpful and chill, which was really appreciated. The atmosphere was relaxed and judgment free. We will definitely be coming back to chill. read more

Visited Columbia for just a day and decided to try this place after dinner... it was great. The hookah lasted for a long time, the music was perfect for my taste and it was a really chill vibe. read more

The Hookah Lounge is a nice spot. I like the music, the place is very chill and nicely decorated. My friend is an aspiring comic and had initially contacted the owner inquiring about the Open Mic night. She was told to come sign up at 8:30. We arrived and she spoke with the owner, he was rude and indifferent. My other friend told the waitress/hostess (she was nice) and she overheard the hostess and the owner share a laugh when she told them our friend was here for Open Mic night (How horrible). I would not suggest you go here due to the rudeness and the owner and to host a night that he acted like he had never heard of my friend when she had their FB conversation saved to confirm their interaction. read more

Great atmosphere, good for a date or a group. Real chill and very comfy. it's great all around!!!

Great spot! Great Service -the employees are very knowledgeable about their product and are very attentive. This a nice vibe-nice mixed crowd. Management is good. The owner is very personal and welcoming. The only advice more seating for couples. Overall 5 stars! read more

What can I say. $30 to be awkwardly greeted and immediately carded, 10 minutes before a server approached us after glancing at us and walking away, 15 minutes of being unattended after our order was taken, and not having our hookah fully prepared once it got to us? 2 stars because the actual product was up to par, but the experience wasn't worth what we were paying for. read more

Super chill, server was incredibly welcoming and personable and made the time greatly relaxing. Would recommend to anyone interested in a great hookah spot! read more

The only downfall for me is there is no bar in this place...if they served alcohol I know I would have had an even better time. Staff is super nice and next time I'll just get my drinks in before I get there. read more

Slow service, need to serve alcohol, dim the lights, and better music selection... Only plus is it is in five points and the decor is good

Had a poor experience my first time at the hookah spot. The owner lance immediately contacted me and rectified the situation. The hookahs were much better the second time around, staff was very friendly, and we had a great time in a very chill environment. Would definitely recommend and will be going again! read more

This is a nice place to come and unwind with friends/ co workers or by yourself. My crew came Friday and Saturday night for his birthday gift from us to him. We sat in the rear but couldn't hear the music. I spoke with the owners who are going to fix this , so I'll be back in the future. Overall nice spot. read more

No alcohol. One joint bathroom for men and women, pretty clean, but no paper towels. Also, only Dawn and hand sanitizer for soap options. Pretty sparse for a hookah bar. Hopefully everyone uses there own tips. read more

I was there last month. While I and my companion enjoyed it, I thought it was a bit pricey and smokey and there is a cover charge. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. While they may not have alcohol, they do serve cheap American beer. No thank you. However, the thing that annoys me the most is being able to get in touch with them. Most often when I call, they either don't answer or I get their voice mail. The mailbox is always full, so forget leaving a message. My attempts to email them have also gone unanswered. read more
