This low rating is due to the fact that I've spoken with one person on a Friday to give them the information for some pest control. This person told me they would get back to me on Monday or Tuesday to confirm. I've left five messages in two weeks and not one phone call. I made several phone calls after and their message machine is full. read more

Great service and very professional. I especially like that they are not a contract. So I can cancel at any time. I had to cancel since I am moving, and it was really easy to cancel. Only took one call and it was done. Definitely going to use them again when I get a new place. read more

I am very pleased with the services provided by Townsend! Before we tried Townsend, we had another pest control service, but we were still, at night, finding (with UV "Blacklight" Flashlights) deadly bark scorpions, alive and well! But, now... thanks to the great work Doug and Lyle have done for us, I am now finding and carefully removing them... Extinguished! Please check for dead ones ASAP. Find them dead and Get Rid of them, before your pets can encounter them! I highly recomend this to keep your pets safe from any harm. Your pets will be safe from harm as you only need to keep them away for a couple of hours while the treatment settles in and dries. I must say, I feel that Townsend is the right choice and you will too. They provide personalized service and you too will feel like just another part of the Family also. I highly recommend them. Thanks Doug and Lyle for all of your help and all of your efforts! Sincerely, JG P.S. I found fantastic UV Flashlights, that each retail at regular price for around $25, for only $6.99 at www.LightingEver.com (even with 3 AAA batteries, included). EVERYONE in THE DESERT needs this, and Most Don't Even Know It! I wish the best to you ALL! Get at least One UV Flashlight and check Your Yard every Night... you will be glad that I recommended it and recommended Townsend as well. Keep your Family Safe! Try this, you'll see, you don't have to take my word for it. P.S.#2... I found a Free and Disposable way to pick up the dead scorpions (at night while shining the blacklight on them). I take 2 plastic to-go forks (sporks for a better result) and tape them back-to-back/mirror-imaged, to form a cheap pair of Tongs! Works great and then carefully (with Gloves) pick up their parts. Do not touch with your Self, anything that touches the scorpions, as their venom still exists, even more so that when they are dead. Be responsible and please dispose of every single glowing piece, and all of the materials used for their elimination (very carefully). Do not let anyone else get hurt because of any negligence on your part! Think... "Hazmat" like... Thanks. Best of luck to you all. read more

I called Lyle Townsend, when I found these HUGE roaches in my kitchen, that came in through my back balcony door. Lyle came same day as promised, he examined the dead roach, (turned out to be a Turkistan Roach) , he checked outside including checked all the irrigation boxes the door frames, and windows. He treated ALL of the indoor baseboards and treated the yard as well as the foundation and walls. He was very, very thorough, very pleasant , very affordable. Next day I found ALL DEAD ROACHES everywhere inside and out. 2 weeks later which is today not 1 roach anywhere to be seen. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!! Thank You Lyle Townsend read more

THE BEST!!! Had a major scorpion problem for over a year and a friend recommended Townsend. Literally after the first visit I saw results. I have 2 small dogs and was concerned for them with the chemicals, but had no issues. I am THRILLED to have my sanity back and no scorpions or bugs! THANK YOU! read more

From my first call with Lyle (who was so knowledgeable) to the arrival of ever so patient Doug and a cheerful Elijah I felt like a valued customer. The care they took to inspect every crevice of my home to explaining pre-and post extermination was fantastic. Their understanding about my emotional "roach trauma" was so appreciated. I had recently moved into what I thought was a pest-free home only to be confronted by a giant cockroach and a few of his friends during the COVID lockdown and while wearing nothing but short-ass pajamas (versus combat boots, a paintball helmet, goggles and forgery gloves). After weeks of the creatures holding my empty guestroom & frozen food hostage this was the second agency I called. Everyone? CALL TOWNSEND FIRST!!!. Thumbs up service and the crew will save your sanity. read more

We moved into a house just 3 blocks from blm land. I noticed scorpians with in 2 weeks. I bought a black light flash light to take a look around in the dark. I have never seen a scorpian in the 12 years I've lived in Nv. My house was loaded with scorpians all the way around and 3 inside. I called TOWNSEND PEST CONTROL. They sprayed out side and took care inside my house and attics. I haven't found 1 scorpian again. I recommend TOWNSEND for sure... read more

Excellent service! The tech that came out was professional but friendly. He explained everything and made certain our little dog was safe.

Serious Scorpion infestation is no longer a worry for me!!! From the first contact person explaining how and why scorpions enter your home to Scott who was the on-site technician, I feel so relieved that I will not see another scorpion. This is the most thorough first visit I have ever experienced. After years of paying for pest control we have still had scorpions. I rest assured that they have solved my issue. When asked if I needed to sign a contract, Scott stated that they need to prove their word each month. read more

So pleased with the quality of the assessment of the situation (scorpions: 10 in a month!!) and the treatment. They called before they came, as I'd asked. Lyle and another gentleman came, and both were so courteous and polite: even wrote down my dog's name! They showed up on time. They gassed my attic and sprayed the trees and exterior. They worked on my garage floor and the front door, to prevent gaps where critters could come in. I had take the dog away from the poisons, and felt comfortable leaving them there-- they locked up for me while they finished up. Most excellent service, thank you!! read more

My dad and his neighbors having been battling with scorpions for some time now. For about a year we were using a franchise pest exterminator. I specifically mentioned we were having problems with the Arizona desert scorpions. They sprayed the inside and outside of the house and we signed up for them to "service" the house every 2 months. I would see 1 or 2 scorpions every few months especially during the summer. I would read other pest control websites about scorpions and they all mentioned how "difficult" it is to rid of scorpions. So I figured the company I was using was doing a good job. My dad's neighbor would complain of scorpions all the time. He finally hired a pest control to come out and help with the infestation. His pest company came out at dusk, sprayed this awful gasoline-like smelling chemical all over the outside of the house and was using black light to catch any running scorpions with a sticky rodent pad. During this visit they found the scorpions running into our backyard. Of course I asked him to come and spray my dad's backyard. The exterminator ended up finding a nest within a stone wall retainer around the garden. Of course I was upset at how ineffective our pest control company "techniques" are. (...months later) I thought I posted this review months ago! Might as well give a brief update. I found one dead scorpion a couple months after Townsend initial treatment. I'm happy to say the house has been scorpion free and my dad's neighbor hasn't been complaining either. We use Townsend at my dad's house monthly. I would rather pay for the service than a bill from an ER...which has happened to a couple of our neighbors. read more

Moved to Vegas about 20 months ago. Realized there was a scorpion issue at my place. Hired a different provider and would see 5-6 scorpions insides the house each week during the summer and would kill 2-3 each night outside using black light. This year decided to hire Lyle after referral from my co-worker. My co-worker had a much worse scorpion issue that Lyle was able to solve. Since I started using Lyle earlier this year, i have not seen a single scorpion inside my house. The first couple months of service I saw a total of 3-4 dead scorpions outside in the drive way. Since they were dead or close to dead, i knew Lyle's solution was working. I have 2 little kids and scorpions inside the house can be dangerous. Thanks to Lyle, now i have not even taken my black light to hunt outside in 6 months. And we can sleep peacefully. I referred Lyle to a friend in the neighbourhood this summer who was having similar issues and within couple months his scorpion problem has been solved. Before I hired Lyle i was doubtful anyone who fully solve scorpion issue based on what i was hearing from various people. But Lyle did the magic. He may not be the cheapest but with other providers you are paying for no real protection (atleast i was paying to my previous provider and was still seeing scorpions all the time). Great work lyle. read more

My family and I have been customers of Lyle Townsend's pest control for over a decade now and in a town filled with transient neighbors and fly by night businesses, Mr. Townsend has been a wonderful constant. He provides excellent service, is always available by phone if you ever have a concern that arises that needs immediate attention and is the most knowledgeable exterminator in the valley. He lectured all over the State of Washington prior to moving to Las Vegas in the field of insect and pest control and holds patents on inventions he developed over his many years in the industry. Give Townsend Pest Control an opportunity to earn your business and I'm sure you'll be appreciative of his service just as we have been for all of these years!!! read more

We discovered evidence of a very active rat in our garage a few says ago and were very anxious to make sure he was removed. We also wanted to make sure there would be no repeat visits so we wanted to pest proof our house as thoroughly as possible. I called Townsend Pest Control at 8am sharp next morning and the phone was answered very courteously and helpfully the boss himself, Mr. Lyle Townsend. He knew it was an urgent matter for us and he was able to come at 10am the same morning with one of his assistants, Aaron. Both gentlemen were a pleasure to deal with. Lyle explained that they could get the rat with 24 hours and pest proof the house so that it would be very unlikely for a rat to be able to get in again. The next morning we discovered the rat in one of the traps that had been set, as promised. Over the next few days, Lyle and Aaron worked meticulously to seal all possible entry ways into the house for rats. They also promised to react very quickly in the future if a problem occurred. Lyle had invented an attractive "rodent rock" rat poison station that looks like a big rock, and six of those have been placed around our property. We could not be more pleased with the service and rates provided by Townsend Pest Control. They've been in business for over 50 years and their knowledge and expertise really shows. Highly recommended! read more

I really feel good about supporting local small businesses; especially one as good as Townsend Pest Control. I moved to Henderson, NV 2 months ago from southern California and knew the last thing I wanted to see was desert scorpions at my new home. Townsend does a real thorough job. First time here they were inside and outside the house. (Even did the attic!) So far I've spoken with both Doug and Lyle. Good guys that know their business. I'm now on a monthly maintenance program and haven't seen any pests at all! If you want honest, reasonable, personalized service, I highly recommend Townsend Pest Control. Absolutely the most professional company! We purchased our new home to later find out we have scorpions. We tried other companies that didn't work, then found Townsend Pest Control. The amount of attention payed to the customer is something that is not seen now a days. The explination of everything that is going to be done to "WIN" over the scorpions was with out need of further explination. We are now month 3 and have only found two that were alive but dying, the rest have been dead. When we called to let them know we found a couple of live ones they were at our home the next day! The owner Lyle and Doug personally came out spoke with us and gave advice on what else we could do until we "WIN". I would give them 10 stars on professionalism true pride and dedication to their profession. If you have a scorpion problem make them your first (and will be your last) phone call! read more
