This little local cafe is a gem! The biscuits and sausage gravy is the best you will ever have. The staff are all friendly- efficient- knowledgeable- and work great together! They are only open for breakfast and lunch - closing at 2 so be sure to head this way if you are ever in Harrison AR

    Almost gone. Most excellent!!

The food was amazing. The service was professional and the ambiance was hometown cozy. Will definitely be back, soon. Coffee excellent, grits were absolutely perfect, omelette melted in my mouth and the hash browns were yummy.

Two egg, two pancake with sausage breakfast

Gave this place a try while on an impromptu visit to Harrison this week. Greeted promptly by Roman who was witty and friendly. Husband ordered some massive amount of meat and eggs and hash browns with sourdough toast. He let me have a piece of toast and it was amazing! I ordered the two egg & pancake breakfast with sausage. It was so so good! We are coffee snobs and the coffee even though it was drip coffee was so good. The decor was so quaint and hometown. Loved the rock walls! We can't wait to visit again when we come through!

Great food and staff! We were on our way back home and had to stop to grab food (but in a timely manner) we were in and out! Would go again!

Great lunch. Small old diner on the town square. Service was terrific. Loved the BLT and the onion rings are awesome.

This cafe is ok if you don't want to go anyplace else in Harrison. DO NOT order the green beans and they are FROZEN and not cooked.

Friendliest staff with great service, pies/cakes to die for, and a variety of choices on the menu. I visit here at least once a week.

We found out the restaurant is so good and so popular that it is imperative you make reservations 1-2 months in advance. Our reservations were for 7:15, and we arrived 20 minutes early and the restaurant was packed and so was the bar. So we returned with our party of 4 and at exactly 7:15PM and we were immediately seated. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, amazing with the amount of people in the restaurant it was not loud and noisy. Rhonda was our server and she was Awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. We truly enjoyed having Rhonda serve us. We had quail appetizers which were outstanding. My husband had a gin martini that was delicious. He ordered Filet Mignon and sauté crimni mushrooms and we shared a baked potato. I ordered the Salmon on a plank with the mushrooms. The salmon melted in your mouth the flavor was delicious. The filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, my husband said it was the best filet Mignon he had eaten. We highly recommend Grotto Wood Fired Grill and Wine. Next time we come to Eureka Springs we are dining here.

Tucked into downtown Eureka Springs, this spot lives up to the hype, but you'll want to plan ahead…read more Reservations are usually a must, and if you don't have one, expect a wait or a bar seat... unless you know the workaround. We showed up about 45 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation and did a quick walk through. Instead of waiting around, we wandered upstairs to The Stone House Tavern (right next door) for a drink, and here's the move: they serve the full Grotto menu. Same kitchen, totally different vibe. We grabbed a table and never left. The tavern has a cozy, dim-lit feel with a massive wall of books that immediately stands out. It's quiet, relaxed, and easy to actually enjoy a conversation no shouting over noise, no rushing through dinner. Service was great. Our server was kind, attentive, and we had a few genuine, easy conversations with her that made the whole experience feel even more relaxed. We started with the quail poppers and the baby romaine both solid, but more of a warm-up than the main event. The bone-in pork chop is the star. It's massive, cooked right, and easily shareable if you add a couple of sides. Don't skip the acorn squash it was one of the best things on the table. We also tried the full wings with three sauces, and those were just as good flavorful, not overdone, and a great balance to the heavier entrée. Overall, this place delivers on food, atmosphere, and experience. Bonus points for the upstairs "secret." We'd absolutely come back and probably go straight to the tavern again.

This was our best meal in Eureka…read more On our final day in town we decided to try this spot based on the great Yelp reviews. It was the experience we needed after a host of poor service and unwelcoming attitudes at other ES establishments. McGarity's is everything you would expect an Irish pub and restaurant to be. There is a leprechaun out front for photos, super friendly and attentive staff, and a menu chock full of feel good and filling food. We started with an appetizer of cheese curds. Get these for the table. They were cheesy goodness with light batter and were delicious. For our meals I got the burger and the kids got shepherd's pie and chicken alfredo. Both looked great and there were plenty of leftovers. Portions are huge here. My burger was cooked the way I liked and had a great beefy juiciness offset by fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions. The thing I didn't particularly like must be some sort of Arkansas or Eureka rule because everyone does it. Condiments were in little packs on the table. I would prefer that at least the mayo be added in the kitchen so I am not disassembling my burger to squeeze mayo on the buns but every restaurant was this way. Despite that, this was a great experience. All oher Eureka Restaurants can take a page from McGarity's and the place would be much happier.
