Steak and eggs

This little local cafe is a gem! The biscuits and sausage gravy is the best you will ever have. The staff are all friendly- efficient- knowledgeable- and work great together! They are only open for breakfast and lunch - closing at 2 so be sure to head this way if you are ever in Harrison AR

Almost gone. Most excellent!!

The food was amazing. The service was professional and the ambiance was hometown cozy. Will definitely be back, soon. Coffee excellent, grits were absolutely perfect, omelette melted in my mouth and the hash browns were yummy.

Two egg, two pancake with sausage breakfast

Gave this place a try while on an impromptu visit to Harrison this week. Greeted promptly by Roman who was witty and friendly. Husband ordered some massive amount of meat and eggs and hash browns with sourdough toast. He let me have a piece of toast and it was amazing! I ordered the two egg & pancake breakfast with sausage. It was so so good! We are coffee snobs and the coffee even though it was drip coffee was so good. The decor was so quaint and hometown. Loved the rock walls! We can't wait to visit again when we come through!

We had breakfast. Good old fashioned cooking. We took a lemon pie to go. That was very good also.

Our best meal in Eureka Springs…read more Not a ton of tables inside. Interesting ambiance with the rock bluff, which we were seated right next to. Had great service from Rhodes who was gracious and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great suggestions. The Upside Down cocktail was delicious. A bit sweet for a whiskey drink, but very good. The salmon and steak were perfectly cooked. The asparagus and mushroom sides scrumptious. We split a slice of vanilla caramel cake which was divine. A perfect meal.

We showed up about 45 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation and did a quick walk through. Instead of waiting around, we wandered upstairs to The Stone House Tavern (right next door) for a drink, and here's the move: they serve the full Grotto menu. Same kitchen, totally different vibe. We grabbed a table and never left. The tavern has a cozy, dim-lit feel with a massive wall of books that immediately stands out. It's quiet, relaxed, and easy to actually enjoy a conversation no shouting over noise, no rushing through dinner. Service was great. Our server was kind, attentive, and we had a few genuine, easy conversations with her that made the whole experience feel even more relaxed. We started with the quail poppers and the baby romaine both solid, but more of a warm-up than the main event. The bone-in pork chop is the star. It's massive, cooked right, and easily shareable if you add a couple of sides. Don't skip the acorn squash it was one of the best things on the table. We also tried the full wings with three sauces, and those were just as good flavorful, not overdone, and a great balance to the heavier entrée. Overall, this place delivers on food, atmosphere, and experience. Bonus points for the upstairs "secret." We'd absolutely come back and probably go straight to the tavern again.

Enjoyed an excellent dinner at Local Flavor in mid May on a Wednesday evening. We had a…read morereservation, but it may not have been necessary as not all tables were filled. We were early for the season. We had excellent service from Kristen who was very friendly, informative, and attentive. I had the chicken topped with all of topping, odd goat cheese, and balsamic drizzle. It was fabulous. Also liked the mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed the creamy Gorgonzola pasta dish with caramelized onions and cherry tomatoes. There were several good looking desserts, but we were too full to try any. Ambience fairly simple but a row of cute lamps lining the shelf up above. There's a small restaurant area as well as a bar area. Some tables outside, but it was too cool for us to try that. Great place in Eureka Springs.

The food matches the setting. The crab cakes are better than most places--crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and not overly heavy. The cobb salad is a standout too--loaded with a great mix of toppings (definitely check the pic), fresh, and actually filling. The meatball & grits were solid, and the wedge fries on the side hit the spot--simple but done right. This is an easy, go-to lunch spot whether you're taking a break from exploring downtown or wrapping up a day walking around. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect place to slow things down for a bit.

This was our best meal in Eureka…read more On our final day in town we decided to try this spot based on the great Yelp reviews. It was the experience we needed after a host of poor service and unwelcoming attitudes at other ES establishments. McGarity's is everything you would expect an Irish pub and restaurant to be. There is a leprechaun out front for photos, super friendly and attentive staff, and a menu chock full of feel good and filling food. We started with an appetizer of cheese curds. Get these for the table. They were cheesy goodness with light batter and were delicious. For our meals I got the burger and the kids got shepherd's pie and chicken alfredo. Both looked great and there were plenty of leftovers. Portions are huge here. My burger was cooked the way I liked and had a great beefy juiciness offset by fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions. The thing I didn't particularly like must be some sort of Arkansas or Eureka rule because everyone does it. Condiments were in little packs on the table. I would prefer that at least the mayo be added in the kitchen so I am not disassembling my burger to squeeze mayo on the buns but every restaurant was this way. Despite that, this was a great experience. All oher Eureka Restaurants can take a page from McGarity's and the place would be much happier.
